A pet peeve of mine is when people say "I could care less" instead of "I couldn't care less".
Bob is the exception. He can say whatever he wants and it's all good.

I am glad I discovered this man. He was such a talented artist, who created magnificently realistic, yet magical portraits. Not only that, but he’s so cool to listen to. He seems so friendly and easy going. In his videos, he encourages everyone to believe in themselves follow their hearts when creating while also teaches them to accept mistakes rather than freak out over them. He doesn’t seem too concerned about how “perfect” the final result; he just paints and has a good time with it. Overall, he is an inspiration.

17:30 "and if you dont live close the ocean, you can get books that have all kinds of beautiful seascape pictures to give you ideas" Interesting that he has no idea how the internet will change the way people look up pictures. I think he would be so happy to see his show immortalized the way it is now on the internet. Everyone will forever be able to paint along with Bob!

Don’t need to be a painter to love Bob Ross. We were sat at the tv by our parents who promoted PBS and Bob was Americas babysitter. You see, us kids could sit still and be entertained. Our brains allowed fun. Now….lol….well…I guess you would have to be able tell time from a nice Swiss movement and be able to give the correct change from a $10 bill without looking at the screen to understand and appreciate him. So amazing. So great. Funny as hell in his own way. We miss ya buddy.

It's rare to find a cashier of *any age* who gives change back properly. Count it out, starting with the bills, then hand it to you, starting with the coins. And 99% of them seem to rely on the register telling them how much to give. We, as a whole, are spoiled rotten. We, as a whole, have become soft and lazy.
I say this as a whippersnapper, by the way. I'm in my 30s.

You watch him and he (almost) seems to have forgotten to paint right to the edge and then he slips in a rock or bush just at the right time.
