Excellent video. I'll throw a tip on the pile that piggybacks on your "pay attention" point: don't cut while tired! So many art school classmates of mine cut off the same corner of their index fingers doing ruler+knife homework at 3am. I love my olfa snap off knife and fiskars finger knife best.
Absolutely mandatory vid! Wow! I’m glad I subscribed to your channel following the 3D Printing Professor lead! Thanks for the tips! Safety first always!
Bandaids - lots of bandaids. No seriously, everyone makes mistakes, no matter how careful you are, and sometimes you slip in an awkward position. So many times I've had to run up several flights of stairs to get bandaids, or just keep bleeding over my project because I'm too focused on the project. You need to have bandaids near to where you're working. I now have bandaids in a medicine cabinet near my shop -- yeah, I know it's a brand name, I'm sure mine are some store brand. I always have alcohol on hand for cleaning printer beds, for soldering projects, airbrush thinner or tapping lubricator (works well and no cleanup after) so that's just around anyway.
Like your common sense approach to things. Very refreshing. We are doing 3 new designs a week for 2018, modeled, printed & videos posted. Check out our channel as would like to know what you think. This was another good video, thanks for sharing. Have a great day. God bless
Good video, saw some owies coming with some examples.
I'm gonna use this for my class!
Useful hints!
