    Jin D2 being homing its bullshit

      The tracking is very very stupid. I stepped it on rare occasions to the left. Needs nerfed and made -15

      It’s not homing per se but it’s really hard to step.

      @@CBMfromOhio alot of other characters have a low like this with pretty good tracking that counterhit like this and so jin spent the entirey of T7 having his pressure disrespected now they’ve given him one too and I don’t see the issue.
      -should it be -15? Sure. But let’s not act like the homing and range is infinite because i’ve straight up had it stepped or backdashed away from. It’s tracking is fine.

    Big fan of your usage of aggression and db4. You get as many of those in as you can without using it too much, started doing that too and I havent hit ranked but I am pretty sure I could easily rank up thanks to your help.

      I like spacing db4 at basically max range because it’s basically unpunishable and the range is pretty nuts. If you’re a Jin player you should join the Jin discord. I’m prettt active there if you want some coaching or just help in general 🙏🏾

    I love the gameplay, im a bryan main and this is my first Tekken so im diving in the deep end i like bryan alot. I definitely struggle with jab string pressure from characters like drag. My friend will spam the jab heat engage whenever i make him block from any move that isnt b1 then throws in some mid checks in between it feels like im totally locked out from play. I armor out most of the time cause idk what else to do. Whenever i sidestep i get caught so idk what im doing wrong is it like timing of the step or what? Cause ive sidestepped outta those jab strings just to get launched😓. I NEED HELP!

      i have a discord server where you can join and learn. we got drags, bryans a little bit of everything. we are NA though but if youre interested let me know. Bryan is very technical and im not very good at bryan. Players like jimmy tran though sidestep into like jet upper or ch. Bryans ws3 is really fast ch launcher. I love his 3+4 as well. 121 the heat string the tracking on the last hit will always hit your step im pretty sure. I think you have to time another step mid step. To get around it I would try to ch him maybe? QCB1 also a very strong tool. Drag has to take a risk trying to get in with wr2 since bryan has amazing keep out. (send your discord if interested)

    Ss was easier for me in 7. Seems like a lot of non homing moves still clip even if you get behind of them 😂 im strugglig more in 8 than any tekken and ive played them all. Im not complaining btw just being honest. Ive never been a aggresive player so its a learning experience for me for sure. Im goona keep grinding and once my og main hei comes back maybe by then ill adjust more to the new system. Im hard stuck at tekken king 😅 could be worse tho

    • @CBMfromOhio
      @CBMfromOhio  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      My friend also said something similar. I never really sidestepped in 7 seemed very advanced. Heihachi coming back will be hype tho. Ranked is just a weird place many carried people that don’t even understand fundies and just do t8 bs. Tk is like blue rank or red ranks in 7 I think.

    • @genesishandboards
      @genesishandboards หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@CBMfromOhio I agree the ranked system is bloated and the carry chars like you mentioned. I have solid fundamentals from 20 some years of play but this game is so different, teaching a dog new tricks is hard haha. Great video BTW good stuff! And ty for the reply!

    Mashing being a viable strategy shows how scrubby this game is

    • @CBMfromOhio
      @CBMfromOhio  หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      I’m assuming you’re talking about when I said “smartly mash” but this existed in previous Tekkens? If your opponent doesn’t mash into a frame trap you may just earn pressure/mental frames. If they jab when you’re trying to for example of dash in from plus frames and get crouch jabbed it was a mash. But it was read they would not low crush/step you or frame trap you. Just a gamble stop the negativity if you don’t understand the levels to this game 👍🏾
