This is good stuff. I really like the heavy, light, medium method and have been using it with good success. It allows me to train every 2 to 3 days (full body), which really helps me dial and lock into my technique. Thanks a lot.
Interviewer asks excellent questions. Really getting to the details to help me understand how Dan's training differs, or could apply, to my training. Very much appreciated.
This is the probably the most helpful video a novice could watch. Simple straight up answers and examples to a question that can get totally cluster fucked with data and therories.
Dave is using "light day" to mean easy day, Dan is using it to me "lower intensity" e.g. lesser % of the one rep max but still approaching failure each set.
i train everyday sometimes multiple times a day but im not a drugged up pro but i eat a lot and give it all i got. if something hurts i take off as much time as i need to feel better again. im not going to be the worlds strongest man but since ive been training everyday i lve gotten bigger and stronger naturally than any other method ive ever tried and ive tried just about all of them in my 40 years so far.
Basically, but Starr didn't do much with different rep ranges. You still go fairly heavy on everything (ie. Fahves), but the variations limit the amount of weight you can move so it is less systemically taxing. So your heavy day would be low bar back squats, bench press, and deadlift, all working up to heavy sets of five. Light day might be front squats, overhead press, and rows, again for sets of five. Medium day might be high bar squats or low bar with 10% less weight, incline press, and stiff-legged deadlifts. I like to spread out the heavy movements throughout the week, but Starr's basic plan has worked well for a heck of a lot of people.

Bench dead, squat maxes?
Is it okay to watch the entire video at once instead of 15 short 10 min videos ?
I would add 1 to 2 extra set to get the volume?
Absolutely quality
Dave Tate looks like Jumba Jookiba from lilo and stitch. Look it up
