    At 6:14 Nigel Mansell's helmet info card states "1985-1988 1992-1994"... Shouldn't it be "1985-1988, 1991-1992, 1994"???? It's like Williams doesn't remember Mansell in '91 and his time in Indy Car!

      Martyrs he started in a Toleman slowest car on the grid at that time but some how in Monaco he found a way to win or at least come second

      Ayrton's F1 career started in a Williams as Krzysztof said. His first ever outing in an F1 car was during a test at Donington in 1983, in a Williams. His first F1 race was with Toleman.

    2:00 - "how often do you see a team going from entry to world champions in 4 years". Er... Brawn GP?? All in One season.... bingo. Apologizes Honda ....& Mclaren!

      Joseph Petrassi joe - "he says it just doesn't happen......doesn't happen these days" quote un quote - my observation was that it has, and more remarkably in one season. His rhetoric is perhaps more suited to describe Brawn GP? Take nothing away from Williams - a remarkable team, maybe back on the way to success - great 3rd at weekend by LS 😎 I just wish Mclaren could sort themselves out.....

      You're missing something very important. Williams built a new team and a few years later they won the championship. Brawn bought a previously existing team. If Honda hadn't left they'd still win the title with that car. So those two feats aren't comparable. The quote is spot on.

    • @4wheelsonmywagon733
      @4wheelsonmywagon733 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      ianiva mmmmm - point taken - however the nuance you miss, is that Brawn bought a non functioning team - chassis only - old R&D - no drivetrain, Honda didn't include engine package. From memory he took on degree of debt as well. He somehow stuck an amg merc F1 drivetrain in - albeit in a sophisticated Heath Robinson manner - in the down season. That one feat alone beggars a degree of belief - considering the tech involved in modern F1. So the considered nuance is he bought a bag of bolts and made them work, with some parts missing ?? Understood and explained in that manner it is feat we will very likely never witness again. What brawn did was amazing - compared to the '4 years of building a chassis engine package' you refer too. Take nothing away from Williams / Head - there achievements are legendary.

      By the point Honda pulled out the chassis was pretty much ready. Double diffuser and the lot. Everything was there except the engine. The people were there, the procedures were there, the equipment was there, everything. Fitting the Merc unit in without ruining the car was certainly impressive. It goes without saying that what he achieved was remarkable particularly since it happened so fast. He knew the car was a championship winner and that's why he did what he did. But I don't think it's fair comparing it to what Williams did or to building a team from scratch.

      The car came back at Williams factory in 2002, then the car has been destroyed.
