This grooves but sometimes the tenors do what's called a "push" where you single between adjacent drums but going in opposite direction of the hands (such as doing 4 singles between drums 1 and 2). At this tempo its not too much of an issue because its slow enough where there's enough time to get the hands out of the way of each other, but this kind of writing makes stick "ticks" more common. The easiest fix would be to make the sticking paradiddles to flow better. Keep it up though!
Sometimes I make a changes to the music post-video-release. You can look at my Musescore account to hear the most recent versions and the sheet music in my Google Drive folder will be updated.
@@No..names_7 cool! i love hear when schools play my cadences. this one has had a little rework to make it better, but the sheet music’s all updated. if you or anyone at your school could, i’d love to see a video of you guys eventually
For being my most viewed video, this cadence isn’t too well written. There’s improvements on the sheet music, but it’s still probably my least favorite cadence of mine.
Some suggestions for the tenor bit 1. in measures 1-4, those hits should probably be on the spock drum rather than drum 1. 2. I'd alter section B a bit so there's lesss crossovers/pushes. Alternatively, it can be made less awkward by actually making those 16th notes double hits instead of alternating sticking. The less awkward it is to play, the better. 3. Similarly, I'd alter section A a bit so everything on drum 3 is moved to drum 2.

Ikr I'm only 15 and he's helping me out alot
My drum line is playing this song, and i am playing tenors!!
If you play it back at 1.5x, it definitely is no longer easy (but it sounds really legit!)

@@LookAliveDrumline I know but I can’t keep my mouth shut
Love this! Thanks for posting.
SWEET......🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
btw just remade this one with better writing
Can I use this for my drumline
💯
Can you add part scores in the sheet music folders?
How do you get the rimshots on tenors
download the musescore drumline extension rather than using the stock sounds (i believe the extension only works on musescore 3 though)
@@LookAliveDrumline i downloaded the extension but there are no changes, i am using MuseScore 3
@@mrman7361 make sure you select something along the lines of MDL Tenor Line. the shots will appear as notes to select from
@@LookAliveDrumline ok thanks so much
the accents in this cadence are written how i play normally
Another cardinal sin. On the tenors you have single strokes going from drum 3 to drum 4. It’s a massive push and very awkward to do
@@Fire_Crystal bro watch the remake
@@LookAliveDrumline nice
Beans wtf
Jesus Christ
Try *0.25x playback speed* once for 4 times intensity!
A cardinal sin. The bass drums have accented rim clicks. That is just not gonna be good for the bass drum or the mallets
This is not easy💀💀💀
