I have metal racks in my barn, storing all my yard sale and estate sale purchases, which then I end up reselling and donating all the money to animal rescue. My hack from dollar tree is to buy the clear shower curtain that has magnets on the bottom. I turned them upside down and use them as covers on my metal shelves. They protect everything from the dust and are really easy to remove when I’m ready to dig into my supplies.
I was lucky enough to find those tall narrow containers late last year. Being in Idaho now, and me being a paranoid overthinking Mom ... I made the boys each put an extra blanket, DT water bottles, DT hand warmers, and DT fiber one bars (snack) in those to keep in the car since the boys were new to driving in the snow to go to and from work. They work 8PM - 5AM ... Icy road hours! Just in case anything happened on the way to work. And they actually had to use them once as they were stuck in the traffic behind an accident on the freeway. They were perfect! And next weekend, they'll bring them in, remove the blanket, exchange the snacks for new, and put a change of clothes and extra hoodie in them. They don't complain because they don't take up that much room. Small price to pay to keep your mom quiet and off their backs LOL.
Love this and have done this also, Add a tea light or jar candle -better yet, one of the tall jar unscented ones and a lighter and they’ll have ambient heat.
I was using the broom, but switched out with a mop head and it's great for cleaning the shower tile. I think it works better, plus I can rinse better. No more scrubbing for me!
The broom in the tub hack is awesome! I don't remember seeing them at my DT but will look on my next trip. Don't forget about the greeting cards 2/$1 and seeds 4/$1.
DT got in a bunch of foaming hand wash and hand sanitizers. I wanted to try all of the scents, but the real boon is getting the pump and bottle for $1.25. Once emptied, fill it with 4 parts water 1 part lquid hand soap to get 5x more uses from your soap!
Yup I do some dish soda in a foaming bottle to... It's great for small stuff just a pump or two on the sponge is all you really need, it makes the expensive dish soap last!
@@lenarobins2480 That's what I do for washing hands (we have a dishwasher so we don't use dish soap that much for dishes other than soaking), just dish soap & water! Here in Atlantic Canada, our local supermarket sells 1L (quart) of Sensitive dish liquid for $2.50, sometimes $2 on sale. And our WalMart just started selling the same size, but in orange and lemon for $2.17. I have an old measuring cup from a plastic foaming soap dispenser that broke, and if I let the glass foam dispensers go nearly empty, two of these little measuring cups fit perfectly.
I use the table cloths for everything. The most recent thing was for my bulletin board for my classroom at church. When my son was younger I did a jungle theme party and hung the green tablecloths on my ceiling and cut the edges to look like it was trees and we were under the trees. Loved how that came out. And frosted strawberry is best flavor pop tart!!
Heck yeah - I had gotten one of their COB LED lights with a headband. Takes 2 AAA’s, Very bright, but also has a lower light level. Some months later I lost power for 4 days. I wore that thing around my forearm and kept it handy almost the whole time, so I could navigate around the house. (I had other rechargeable lights that I broke out and placed around the house.)
I've been painting my home interior and have tried to get paint roller trays, drop cloths, roller covers, putty knife, spackling, etc. at dollar tree when I can find them. I especially love stuff I can just toss after use, instead of cleaning. It makes this chore a little less messy!
One thing I love to get there are the thin pizza crusts. They used to come 2 for $1.25, but now only one. Still a good deal and they make the best thin and crunchy pizzas. And they’re shelf stable!
I shop Dollar Tree often and love their stuff. But rarely ever bought food there. After seeing a few of your videos showing what foods are good price deals, I made a list of things I didn't know they had. Today the car organizer is the one thing I haven't seen yet. Great job! Ty😊
After watching this video, my wife and I went to our Dollar Tree and got that mop set and cleaner. We even saw the dishes you posted and we got so much good stuff and it still only came up to $35. That is so amazing. Thank you for sharing your shopping tips.
I love your idea of using the tablecloth to wrap large or odd shaped gifts. I can’t believe I never thought of that. The aisle I love is the stationary/ wrapping aisle! Where else can you get gift bags of all size for $1.25!!
Thank you for your wonderful info as usual. I have been using DT mop and broom handles since they first came out. I have two broom heads and toss in the washer when they need it. I have all types of the mop heads I use for windows, the tub, shower floors, ceiling, fan you name it I don’t have a lot of storage space so I use the dollar tree dish rack to hang them up her or store them I also have more than one candle in there the same thread as the handles for painting. Oh, take the dish rack not for washing dishes bumper plates I’m sorry and then the wires hang them on the wall vertically and that’s where I store my mop and broom heads. I use two racks.
The Snyders pretzels are my favorite find. I shopped Dollar Tree on Friday, got some great food bargains. Jimmy Dean Sausage breakfast sandwiches and cookie knock offs.
I like their push lights too. I purchased enough of the square ones for every room and put them on the wall for power outages. We get them quite often where I'm at.
I love the meat smasher! I bought the Shelf liners and then went to the tool department there and bought double sided tape to use so I can line my kitchen and bathroom cabinet shelves.
I'm due for a new meat masher, I like the grip on the grey one. I was so happy when I found the writable white sticker awhile ago at my Dollar Tree, it has come in handy to label things for my mom and for myself. Myself, I like the Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Blueberry, & Strawberry pop tarts.
I got one of those meat masher things from pampered chef many many years ago for way more than $1.25 BUT I still have it and use it weekly and it still looks good!
I love the plug-in nightlights. We keep some on hand to light the hall/bathroom when we have sleepover guests or the kids are sick. Also, the DT empty cleaner spray bottles beat any others I have tried, hands down. They outlast ones that cost $3+ elsewhere.
@granitemoss1451- yes! The night lights are all over our house! I love That they have fun kid style ones too. We also love the toothbrush/ paste/ floss section. So affordable for a large family!
The meat masher is in none of the $stores in my area. We always use plastic table cloth to cover the table when we prepair the turkey or lamb for the spit bbq. Make cleaning up super easy.
The clear 3 tray is also great for meals where you have a lot of toppings because you can lay out two of them and have six different toppings to choose
👍🏼❤️ I have to say that wall wiping way, is why I’m leaving for my $1.25 tree, now..😂 & I need a fake candle 🕯️ for my backyard patio!! Thank you for sharing..
The meat masher! Get one! I got the Snyder's honey wheat pretzels after you suggested them in a previous video and they are awesome! I look for them every time I go to DT!
Tip for my fellow crazy chicken/bird people running incubators this spring- DT has that textured shelf liner that's perfect for lining the incubator floor when eggs go in to 'lockdown' and for the brooder floor to help them find their feet.
If only our Dollar Tree had some of them great finds! BUT I will still be looking for some of those baskets for sure. Strawberry best pop tart. Thanks for sharing.
Also, that push light that you used in your kitchen is nice. I used One several years ago when I used to make My kids Halloween costumes. I made a “Chuggington” costume for my son. He was the red train. I was able to put a “headlight” on his costume just like the train!! And bonus, he could see good in the dark while trick or treating! 👌🏼
Also the masher is great for making guacamole. Just remember to wash it after mashing raw meat. Tacos will be easier than ever. ThNks for all your sharing of hints.
Great video Christine! So many new ideas to try. Wow! The snow situation is unreal. It was 80F ( 27C ) in Toronto today. It will be 85F ( 29C ) tomorrow! We might go back down to 50F (10C ) next week, so I'm enjoying it while I can. 😊
I love, love, LOVE the meat masher! Got mine in red/white from the Betty Crocker collection there years ago! Best thing ever! I am a sucker for all their aluminum food pans! I make a lot of 'take and go' meals for church and those are perfect! Can't beat those prices either! Oh, and Cherry poptarts, all the way!
The meat masher is an AMAZING find!!! I’m a person who must be shamed for buying a Pampered Chef one for like $14 bucks before discovering Dollar Tree! Have I been under a rock!!😂😂
I have been telling myself every time I go to DT not to buy more containers! We finally got Dollar Tree Plus and those containers that are 3 and 5 are pretty nice!
Good Tuesday morning Christine. I hope you had a great Easter weekend. What a haul. Love the spring garden stuff. Those toffee and coconut peanuts looks absolutely delicious. I most certainly agree home hacks from Dollar Tree are much more frugal and budget conscious than buying products from Amazon. After all, Dollar Tree has so many items to choose from - and they're only $1.25 each (plus applicable state tax of course). One of my favorite items from Dollar Tree, used to be the big bottle of Dad's Root Beer. 😊😊
My favorite Poptart flavor is brown sugar and cinnamon. So many great ideas, I am going to get a couple of the under the counter lights and the ball cap holders. I really enjoy your videos! Thanks!
We got 8 of those exact same solar lights and LOVE them! They’re just as cute and the light lasts as long as the $5 each solar lights we previously had from Lowe’s!
Favorite pop tarts - frosted cherry, followed closely by chocolate fudge. I haven't had a pop tart in a very long time and now you've got me craving them. THANKS CHRISTINE. 😅😅😅
The microwavable ready made chicken rice is nice to stock up on. We keep several in the pantry for when we don't feel well. Pop it in the microwave for a minute and you have chicken rice. It's easy and not too heavy for when you don't feel good. It costs A LOT LESS than at the grocery store.
I'm in Canada but I found 20g packages of freeze dried bananas and strawberries for $1.50 at dollarama. Our Nutters has the same 20gram packages for $6.99.
I love the clear acrylic organizers because that's mt style and also they are SO expensive!!!! I just found some and bought 11 of them for yes you guessed it under $15!!!

The meat mashed also makes pretty stars on top crust pies.

❤ the broom hack for the tub. I have back/SI pain and it's a game changer!
I was using the broom, but switched out with a mop head and it's great for cleaning the shower tile. I think it works better, plus I can rinse better. No more scrubbing for me!
Thanks for the tip on the bathtub brush. Because of a knee replacement, I just can't bend like I used to, to clean the tub. This will help me a lot!
I have been using a dollar tree broom for a few years to clean my tub. I have a bad back and a bad knee replacement and this works well.
The blueberry pop tarts are my favorite. My Dollar Tree has a really nice selection of beach themed decor and dishes :).
OMG the meat masher is such a game changer! I gave one to my son and then to my daughter!! They both love them too!
I love the glass flip top bottles I recently found at DT! I used them to start some vanilla extract! ❤
I use the push light pucks in my closets. They're awesome!
I'm also a fan of their 5 minute teeth whitening pens.
The broom in the tub hack is awesome! I don't remember seeing them at my DT but will look on my next trip. Don't forget about the greeting cards 2/$1 and seeds 4/$1.
I finally found the meat masher in my local Dollarama in Canada just a few weeks ago. I was so jealous of yours but now I have my own!
I couldn't wait that long, and got ours at WalMart, but it was $4 or less... better than what Amazon charges for the thing...
DT got in a bunch of foaming hand wash and hand sanitizers. I wanted to try all of the scents, but the real boon is getting the pump and bottle for $1.25. Once emptied, fill it with 4 parts water 1 part lquid hand soap to get 5x more uses from your soap!
I do this with bath n body works soaps too! Pumps last about 12 months in a busy bathroom so it is well worth it!
I do this too! Mom even puts dish soap in the foam pump same ratio you mentioned for washing dishes.
I do this as well :)
Yup
I do some dish soda in a foaming bottle to... It's great for small stuff just a pump or two on the sponge is all you really need, it makes the expensive dish soap last!

Stain remover works great! Plus drink mixes!
Those solar lights and under cabinet lights serve another purpose too. If you lose power, you always have them around 👍

I wore that thing around my forearm and kept it handy almost the whole time, so I could navigate around the house. (I had other rechargeable lights that I broke out and placed around the house.)
I recommend the sunflower like lights that adjust up and down. Very bright and you can point them where you need the light.
Just bought some. They are bright! Love them
I love those lights. I have deep kitchen cabinets full of canned goods - those lights make finding this so much easier!!
I love the mop, pad, and brush. They have worked so well. We use the mop for our travel trailer. It’s the perfect size.
I wished you would do beauty on a budget I’ve been asking for ever lol love your videos

I like the blue Ajax cleaner. It’s pretty amazing. Rumor has it that a dawn dishwasher lid fits in it too.
The muffin tops are awesome. I saw them in a grocery store for $4!
Love that car organizer extender...I'll be on the hunt for that!

Aldi and Dollar General also carry GS Cookie dupes! For Poptarts, I'm with the OG brown sugar cinnamon.
My favorite is the auto cup holder extender. Will have to make a DT run to get one!
Those tall basket things would be great to put Costco or Aldi purchases in!
Love the table cloth idea!
The veggie peeler is also one of the best!
I love the unsweetened oat milk cartons at Dollar Tree! Good quality and great value for shelf stable milk alternative.
I get such a dopamine boost just watching your channel. You have great energy
My favorite cleaning item at DT is the foam window cleaner.
Brown sugar cinnamon is the only pop tart I believe in. 🙏🏻
Absolutely 😊
I love your idea of using the tablecloth to wrap large or odd shaped gifts. I can’t believe I never thought of that. The aisle I love is the stationary/ wrapping aisle! Where else can you get gift bags of all size for $1.25!!
You can also wrap your front door with the holiday table clothes at Christmas time too.
The thin pizza crusts are a must... they are the same brand that Kroger sells for $4-5 - they are awesome too if you like thin and crispy pizza...
I love the meat masher. I use mine to mash bananas for banana bread as well!

Brown sugar cinnamon Poptarts for the win! Great video, thanks for the great tips!
I picked up the solar lights at my local dollar tree yesterday but they where sunflowers 🌻 ❤
I got one of those meat masher things from pampered chef many many years ago for way more than $1.25 BUT I still have it and use it weekly and it still looks good!
Brown sugar pop tart, toasted and smeared with a little bit of butter 😍 Love the videos..love the energy!
I’m inspired to head to Dollar Tree now! I definitely need those under cabinet lights and those baskets look really handy.
Those laundry baskets 😍 Those are perfect size for a dirty hamper in a kids room. Brown Sugar pop tarts are the best.

I love the table cloth idea.! I love Dollar tree! I can have so much fun for a dollar and a quarter.
The clear 3 tray is also great for meals where you have a lot of toppings because you can lay out two of them and have six different toppings to choose
My favorite find is the red basket.. love it
I bought a Dollar Tree meat masher! Can't wait to try it! Thanks, Christine.

Strawberry with NO frosting...delicioso❤
If only our Dollar Tree had some of them great finds! BUT I will still be looking for some of those baskets for sure. Strawberry best pop tart. Thanks for sharing.
I use the meat masher for mashing onions and bell peppers and mushrooms when sauting them. Soo yummy and I can't believe how I have lived without this
Love the broom scrub hack!! I’m always on my hands and knees

Brown sugar cinnamon pop tart is the best.
Strawberry poptarts! So good. Dollar Tree cookies are amazing.
strawberry pop tarts are the best. God bless.
The meat masher is an AMAZING find!!! I’m a person who must be shamed for buying a Pampered Chef one for like $14 bucks before discovering Dollar Tree! Have I been under a rock!!😂😂
That tablecloth for wrapping is brilliant! My fav pop tart is frosted raspberry. But, out of the ones you listed, I’d go for the brown sugar ones.
For household members we use a flat bedsheet or a pillow case. LOL.
I have been telling myself every time I go to DT not to buy more containers! We finally got Dollar Tree Plus and those containers that are 3 and 5 are pretty nice!

All the chocolate flavored pop tarts are my favorites 🥺💜
Of those flavors? Cherry, hands down. But overall? I really like the Lemon Cream Pie flavor - so tangy and wonderful!!
Favorite pop tarts - frosted cherry, followed closely by chocolate fudge. I haven't had a pop tart in a very long time and now you've got me craving them. THANKS CHRISTINE. 😅😅😅

I ran across a deal on the dove caramel bars regularly $2.12, for .75 cents. I bought 44 and have no regrets. 😂🍫 I gave about half away for Easter.
Thankyou ! I had my shopping list handy while watching ,I just added 2 more items /ideas from your video !
I'm in Canada but I found 20g packages of freeze dried bananas and strawberries for $1.50 at dollarama. Our Nutters has the same 20gram packages for $6.99.
I haven't seen these in Atlantic Canada yet, but I haven't been down the snack aisle much... I did today, forgetting I was looking for the food aisle.
Brown sugar pop tart for sure!! I don’t eat them anymore, but that was defy favorite flavor growing up!
Hi Christine. Definitely blueberry pop tarts. Like those under counter lights.
Hands down going with blueberry poptarts!!
Cherry 🍒 pop tarts are my favorite!
We like the strawberry and blueberry Pop Tarts!
Thanks for the great video! The mint chocolate cookies are the bomb!!!

I love the clear acrylic organizers because that's mt style and also they are SO expensive!!!! I just found some and bought 11 of them for yes you guessed it under $15!!!
Those ultra thin pizza crusts behind you at 2:31 area amazing. I get them for my diabetic husband.
Strawberry, blueberry and cherry pop tarts are awesome good my favorites
Strawberry is mine! Always buy these there.
Awesome video Christine!! Dollar store stuff and tips from another Mom is super helpful!!!! Thank you!!!
That narrow basket screams, "vacation snack bag!!!" How did you not buy it?! I admire your self control.
