I love this guy, when talking about power, range, length always miles and km, inch and cm, kw and HP! Very nice 👍❤
Has to if he wants the US audience because the US never accepted the metric sys.
1:48 reminds me of a Fiat Multipla
Da italiano quale sono, questa esteriormente è ancora più brutta della Multipla, e ce ne vuole!!!
Hi Chriz, I just saw this video & the very thought of Fiat Multipla came to my mind & I thought of putting a comment but I guess I am a little late as well as you too have a similar mind frequency & memories as mine. Cheers mate
But refined
This is a car that I would buy in a heart-beat.
That exterior color, exterior itself and interior, everything is very good.
French only wish they could build so advanced machines these days :D
Look at the Renault Scenic E-Tech. :)
This is How the fiat Multipla should’ve looked like
It's like a Mitsubishi Colt that a gang of angry Frenchmen punched in the face
Finally someone has reviewed this car, in Indonesia this car will be sold under different names Cloud EV or Sky EV
Emangnya masuk indo ya bro? Kirain yang bingo doang yang masuk
But will they bring it? If so, when will that even happen? With Binguo currently on sale, would make sense bringing "Cloud EV". But it remains to be seen at what price point.
@@alexblonduxxl this car was just launched few hours ago in Jakarta!
This is coming to india under the MG brand
The exterior is a bit multipla-y, although strangely I kinda like it? But anyway, the main thing with this car is the inside and seriously!!! Why can't other cheap cars have lovely colours like this! They can still be a cheap material like you said it's hard plastic, but the seats have the unique armchair-esque pattern, and the colour combination is lovely and modern. Why should cheaper cars be all grey and black?
I could not agree more!
The spirit of Multipla's styling lives one
The leg room in the back and the room in the boot, this car would be a great taxi.
you say it looks French, I'd agree - Renault had a string of oddly shaped vehicles that are still popular as used cars here in Spain.
So thank you for the review and the ride along. This is a car that I would actually buy, particularly at that price point, and I think often times what gets lost in conversations about the transition from ICE cars to EV’s is not just cost or quality, but that how do we get to this cost/quality at a price point that would make people think about maybe they could fit their lifestyle into an EV, because everyone don’t need Tesla‘s performance, which is absolutely off the charts, no doubt about that.
So full disclosure, I drive a Tesla, and I absolutely love it, and to me there’s nothing on the road that compares to it. However, the price tag is also out of this world, and with all fairness, the prices have come down considerably from when I bought mine.
However, it’s still kinda pricey for those who are skeptical about EV’s, and those who simply can’t see themselves driving anything except an ICE car, because that’s what they’re comfortable with, and that population still represents the majority of people living in the US.
So what Tesla, and all the other OEMs needs to worry about is these kinds of cars coming out of China, that really do have quality, and are coming in at a price point that I don’t think any of the OEM legacy auto manufacturers, like a Ford, GM or Tesla can match, because they’re so focused on performance, and quality which are kind of subjective, because if you can manufacture a car at a price point that would at least get people looking at these cars, and trying to figure out if they can afford one or live with one, and let’s face it all the hype, and excitement around all these other cars, I don’t think have resulted in what some of us expected say 10 years ago. Cheers
Imagine only 5 years from now. The current pace of improvement is amazing. 👍
Another amazing Chinese EV. Truly practical, nice and comfortable, lots of space, and lower price.
Awesome car. Wish it had physical controls for HVAC. Love the design. This would be perfect for city and suburbs. The panoramic roof is a must. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
This car will be great hits in indonesia, like its little brother air ev
Udah masuk daftar desain di Indonesia mas 😁 wuling
yah semoga aja. menarik banget nih
It indeed looks like a Citroën C4 Picasso
When I saw the thumbnail image of the car it looks tiny but seeing a person next to it, it is deceptively large! It’s like a limousine in the back… I see what you mean about the French vibe, but I really feel like it is its own thing. I know it is an MPV but as a person who lives in the US I wonder in the American market I wonder where it would fit in, because I think it could be a great segment here! It’s small but big, I can see it being easy to get in and out of for people who can’t squeeze into sporty cars… it looks comfortable… and it’s inexpensive? Wow!
Hope to see a review from wheelsboy about the Hyper SSR from Aion soon. I have so much interest in that car but every other reviews I've seen are in chinese lmao......if wheelsboy gets to review one I'd be sure if I should go ahead with buying one
😂 GM executive is going to fy to China to have a word with him if he does that. The SSR might just have enough spec. Showing on paper to put GM in a hot seat to redesign the E Ray in response to the SSR.
Trust me, I am eagerly awaiting an invitation to drive the Hyper SSR!
Amazing EV!
Truly, they could sell this as an HHR or the next Equinox and actually turn things around.
Can't wait till I test drive this. Looks a winter in every way
Bring it over, rename to bolt, call it a day?
I am really hanging out from these to come to Australia, we are a right hand drive country so I'll have to wait quite a long time.
You want to drive around in something that looks like a mobility scooter 😂. It’s fugly as, you have terrible taste if that’s true 😂
You guys just got the BYD Seal though. Much more expensive sure, but it is EASILY the cheapest BYD is selling the Seal outside of China. Mid trim long range Seal for 58k AUD is crazy value.
@@tren133I like the byd tech but couldn't live with the interior design, and I like the interior space, boots space and overall design of the Cloud. I'm really glad that we are starting to get a few reasonably priced EV options.
@@metricstormtrooper Consensus from multiple products seems to be BYD has better drivetrain/platform/suspension, but Wuling/Baojun has nicer and far roomier interiors. So the people who value the driving experience will go with the BYD, but those who value style and interior/cargo volume will go with Wuling. And along similar veins many singles/young couples will go with the BYD, but young families will go with Wuling/Baojun.
@@tren133yeah, I'm getting too old to thrash around in cars anymore, I currently have a Mitsubishi minicab miev EV Kei van and really enjoy that, it has only 4 newton metres of torque less than the cloud so I'd rather the baojun had another 100 or so. I'm a sucker for large internal space in a small car and reckon one of these would see me out😁
Styling is xpeng like.
The third partner, Wuling Motor, still exists and has some other businesses. Mostly custom versions of the JV vans, cartlike factory/resort shuttles etc..
Oh we're very familiar with Wuling, as we've reviewed the MINI EV (twice), the Bingo, the Asta, the Fighting, the Air EV, and even the Hongguang PLUS. I didn't include them simply because it's quicker and easier just to mention the major partners, SAIC and GM.
I'm not sure on the coffee cup placement. Make sure you drive carefully when you have coffees as if you crash not only will the passenger get smacked in the face by an airbag they will also get covered in scolding hot coffee! 😂
I would love this in Europe, compact and mini-MPVs is all I want
Front is more multipla (fiat) - Rear is more lancia hatch (Italian), I'll allow an American in China to not know the difference..
Thank you for your understanding, and I admit that my depth of knowledge on European models is...shallow.
I will counter with this is a Fiat designer work while he/she is not stoned (under the influence)
The rear gives me Renault Scenic vibes. I like it.
That screen is insane.
This car would be so perfect in Europe !
yes... at the small price of 37,000 EURO (final price in EU)
@@johnsmith-cw3wo 😅
I really like this than wuling bingo or byd dolphin..soon to come here in the hopefully..
It reminds me of a Tesla version of a Honda Jazz/Fit. I hate the lack of physical control, though...
I feel the screens are too small, I would like a 55 inch screen or bigger (100 inches? wrapping around the interior)
😂😆
Talk to TV manufacturers, maybe they could put wheels and seats on their next TV design.
Enjoy your reviews. Also live in China, Beijing. A question: Are the info screens in most Chinese cars translatable to English?
At this point, a majority of Chinese models do not have an English menu option, but that's quickly changing as more and more of them look to export to other countries.
Can you compare Baojun Yunduo (EQ100) and Baojun Yep Plus? Which one is better?
The front bottom light are similar to the Twingo 1. If you hide the horizontal lighting bar with your finger you will immediately recognise a Twingo!
It seems that the definition of MPV is quite different in the West. In China, only these large (except a few models like BYD Song Max which is only 4.4 meters in length), 3-row (or 3-row capable but fitted with only 2 rows of seats) vans are called MPVs.
And Baojun Yunduo is often compared with BYD Dolphin.
I had this conversation with a friend of mine while I was preparing my script. My description of it as an MPV is more a stylistic one. It feels taller than a traditional hatch like the Dolphin (and it is). According to the more traditional definition of an MPV, this one wouldn't qualify.
车轮哥继续加油涨粉!
Reminds me of the Fiat Multipla……but a lot easier on the eye!
I love this cool mpv and this design is 100% cool that huge center display isn't going to affect visibility? Looks to high the price is good Also
A sensible MPV; maybe it could form the basis for the next GM Bolt. 🤔
Even with the 27% tariff, you'd think GM could just put a more powerful electric motor in it, slap a Chevy badge on, and send it over for sale in the US as the next gen Bolt. Unlike GM's US factories, Wuling could produce hundreds of thousands of these easily if there is demand.
Dude is hurting Detorit engineers and Uaw workers ego. You know you had make a lot of enemies with one comment you know. Lol😂
@@user-jh6vt8vx4vCan you please translate for us English speakers?
Hello, the front of the EQ100 reminds me of the Fiat mutipla
Fiat Multipla is that YOU?
A very fun car
How much the WLPT range of this car?
Good to see that at least the chinese are selling compacy MPVs, now when thr french has lost themselves in an endless tsunami of pointless SUVs. Watcjh and learn, Renault and Citroën! This is exactly the kind of car I like - if only it came with easilly removable back seats, like I used to have in my Renault Scenic.
very cute but capable little thing
This could easily fit a third row seat. I wish for a 3 row, six seat, with 2nd row captain seats.
no price yet?
like the sound of the vehicle any idea of what the battery chemistry is i.e. lithium iron phosphate or lithium ion I also don't imagine it would ever come to my market NZ
Cheers
Both batteries are lithium iron phosphate.
@@Wheelsboy thanks
Dear taillights look a lot like a Toyota Avalon
Reminds me of Kids in the hall. I am waiting for chicken lady.
It do look a little bit French and I like it becuase of that. Shame the French has skipped this segment in favour of ugly and pointless SUVs...
Semoga cepat msk indonesia.. saat ini di indo hanya ada wuling air ev..
it reminds me fiat multipla+honda jazz + citroec c3
What the fiat multipa should have been all along. 😂
This size is common in Europe. Would probably sell well.
what i love about ethan is that he don't sugar coat, very straight forward and honest about his car reviews
Has a bit of Fiat Multipla look about it.
Looks like a modern Fiat Multipla
Come on GM make it the new Bolt
For some reason, it reminds me to a Fiat Multipla
This is modern Fiat Multipla 😂,and now Citroen C4 picasso
The body line does resemble picasso
Reincarnation of Fiat Multipla? I like it.
This car is ridiculously affordable.
The car reminds me of an old Renault.
This car looks like i came from Watch Dogs kinda
The highlight of this car is its low-cost autonomous driving capability and automatic parking ability provided by DJI. It's strange that you didn't properly evaluate it
Sadly, the amount of time we had to film this car was very limited, as it was borrowed from a dealership. To properly evaluate and film those systems would take at least an entire day, there's simply so many of them. I did use the DJI system in the Baojun Yep, so you can check out that video for more info. One day, I'd like to be able to check out the valet park assist, which seems pretty unbelievable for a car this cheap.
That's a road legal DJI
Got a very Renault vibe about it.
it looks like a first gen Fiat Multipla
Mr wheelboy, I think you meant 1.75 meters tall 😅
5:24 isn't that what he said?
It’s a Fiat Multipla!
It looks a bit like the Fiat Multipla.
Yessss!!
Yaa ... But the execution is much better.
Or the old Opel/Chevy Meriva
@@adicahyawe had one of the original 'ugly' Multipla's when I was growing up and it was a fantastic car.
And the prices in RMB too please
95,800-133,800 RMB
Muktipla, is that you? 🤔
Did they just design a car for Uber drivers. 😄
It looks like uber shall look into it for fleet sales
very beautiful car. I don't like the color. Hopefully cheap cars like that arrive in Greece one day.
The screen is far too big. They would have been better spending more money on the UI and having a smaller screen like a 12 or 14inch screen.
they can always update the UI, they can't really update the size of the hardware after its released though. And you need a big screen to make things convenient since the car has no physical buttons (honestly not my favorite design choice but whatever)
Good points!
Fiat Multipla made in China
Amazing design and… It’s a MPV which are dearly missed in Europe since the SUV uprising
Fiat Multipla vibes.
Did they copy the old Fiat Multipla design? Looks kind of odd
They should call it vegan leather. More appealing
Aka wuling cloud
Thar front 🤔naaah
More chances to crash the headlights
Price is 13000$ and not 18000!
fiat multipla vibes
Looks like it's been designed by one of those AI programs that mashes several cars together, very odd..
It sure looks European. It reminds of the Fiat Multipla in a 2023 look.
VW ID.3 + Fiat Multipla =
Renault Modus and Citroën Cactaii. What a wasted oppertunity
ooooof, not France, but Italian. It makes me remember the Fiat Multipla. (if you dont know that car, google on it)
In my opinion the most ugly car ever build.
Look better than Fiat Multipla.
Reminds me of the legendary (for being among the most ugliest cars) the Fiat Multipla. This car will not age well, trust me.
I don´t like spam!I don´t like spam!
This car is basically a Fiat Multiplas uglier sibling.....
