It depends on the skill of the driver, I have a Hayabusa and there's no way I'm going to risk running from the police. Especially Arkansas State troopers. #1 I'm not that skilled I bought it because it's big and comfortable and smaller sportbikes are too small for me because I've put on a lot of weight in the last 15 years... At least for a crotch rocket. #2 I've made it this far in life without catching a felony I don't want to start now. #3 I need my limbs and my back and my body to earn a living for myself so I don't want to end up with no arms and no legs or a broken back. #4 If I HAD to outrun the police like if they were trying to kill me or something I would prefer to be on something like a 750 GSXR, almost just as fast but lighter, more maneuverable and easier to lean. Unless you are one of the most skilled drivers in the world a Hayabusa is capable of speeds greater than you are capable of handling. In other words the bike is faster than you are skilled. If I was around my house I'd even prefer to be on a dirt bike because I could easily lose them in the woods. #5 If you are going to run from the police pray that it's not the Arkansas state troopers, because they are not limited as to how fast they can drive and they spend hundreds of hours training on their driving skills. And they will pull a pit maneuver on your car at 150 mph. Local police like the Little Rock Police cannot pitch you unless they are doing 35 mph, and the cruisers are limited to how fast they can go. The Hayabusa is fast enough that if they pulled me over in one of those SUVs and I waited until they almost got to my bike I could take off so fast that by the time they got back in their car and had the seat belt on and got up to speed I would almost be out of sight. But that's in a straight line.

Back in the mid-nineties I remember reading an article in the newspaper that stated there was a bike chase a few towns away from me. A cop chased a 1991 Kawasaki Ninja 1100 through town at speeds of over 100 mph. The cop ended up going off the road and cracking a telephone pole in half. If I remember correctly, he was okay but broke his back. Another cop picked up where that one left off, out on the interstate. That cop gave up after several miles of the chase and stated that bike was going in excess of 165 mph. Turns out, the bike was stolen and found by a farmer a few days later in his field. It was laying on its side, down in some really high weeds. The report said there wasn't a scratch on the bike, it was just down in its side so you couldn't see it from the road.

I had a ninja zx14 which as you know was the bike that beat the Hayabusa. And yeah it's not a joke. @@gtboard I stand by what I wrote- we are seeing too often no-win reckless driving by law enforcement with potentially catastrophic consequences. LE management better smarten up, or, political leadership will do it for them.
In the end it’s the policy of the State that allows the Trooper to continue or cancel. He gave somewhat of an effort. Laughable considering the type of bike and clearly a rider that had some skill. But. He tried. I saw only two close calls on the troopers part. Again. His brass review these types of pursuits and usually policy is made or adjusted to avoid the possibilities of bad events. If it was me and that was my job… I don’t know if I would’ve gone past the one minute mark. The second I caught up to him and he looked back at me and then gapped the bejesus out of me…I would’ve radioed to see if anyone was with me or if I was solo. Even then I’d strongly lean towards cancel and laugh about it later. Story to spin with friends. Friend: you chased a Busa? Me: LOL yeah. For about 30 seconds. I caught up to him. He looked back at me and hammered down and was gone!
Crazy... I have a 2007 1000RR and I was wondering if that thing had a blown cylinder. Then i watched the cop gain on him in the turn and it told me the level of his riding skill.
This cop was just thirsty for a chase- he wanted the rush! The hayabusa was gone by the 3:00 min of the chase. Lmfao! Just got home & eat a donut 😂🤦🏾♂️
The cop is willing to endanger everyone's life because his fragile cop ego can't handle being overpowered. There is no reason to even chase that guy in the first place.
The Busa rider is just playing with him. If he was really riding hard, he would’ve been out of sight less than 30 seconds and would be 2 miles down the road. The cop has to go faster to catch up so he will never gain any distance.
I have a 2003 Hayabusa. If you don't know motorcycles, you just have no idea. In first gear the tachometer redlines at 11,000 RPM, at 87 MPH. Then you have five more gears. In third gear you can hit 130 MPH, and mine topped out on a dynamometer at 201 MPH... That trooper was just wasting gas... 🤣 I think 0-100 MPH is like 6 seconds... ? It's a rocket sled...
Imagine a gen2 turbo busa with 4-500 HP with 7 speed gear the world record is 311mp/h by Bill Warner(r.i.p) on a 800hp twin turbo busa...I little mod stage 2 and there is no enemy on 4 or 2 wheels...250mp/h easy and of course 1/4 mile low 8 high 7sec without extended swingarm or nitro etc...Mad mad bike my next dream bike that im going to buy, of course turbo charged, ex K6 1000gixxer owner👊🙏🐲🐉

I live in Arkansas and I’m telling you these ASP‘s don’t shut down. They will risk their whole life and everybody around them just to make a ticket and trust me. I don’t believe in that you know sometimes just let it go. I was on my Harley Davidson and I was running about 63 miles an hour in a 55 and I got pulled over but my Harley only runs 105 Arkansas state police were around 140 so I had no chance, I took a ticket and I told him do you feel proud. I said I wouldn’t hurt nobody. I was the only person on the road. There was no other traffic. Zero traffic turned around on me and pulled me over which I don’t run from police I don’t want felony charge, then lose your motorcycle and go to jail. It’s not worth it now if I had a bullet bike hidden, never see me again.
yeah i live here too unfortunately riding here is pretty shit because if a trooper sees you they will literally hit a U turn so fast and tail you because they literally want you to run so they can get some action. It's sick, theyre gangsters.
At the 2:00 minute mark the cops got close enough to get the license plate on the dash cam. They should just call it a day, have a few beers and show up at the rider's home in the morning to confiscate the bike & arrest him.
You guys need to understand, a bike has way better acceleration than any cop car. Slow him down before you take off. Don't take off when he's already up to speed.
The officer knew he wouldn't and couldn't catch the rider. He stayed in pursuit because, more often than not, the person fleeing would end up crashing (1050). So the officer follows along, waiting to see any skid marks or dust trails indicating a recent crash.
I never understood these chases. Instead of 1 guy speeding on a bike, only a danger to himself pretty much, you have 20 cop cars now speeding trying to catch him. Logic?
Perfect example of the ego, carelessness, and above the law entitlement that defines most cops.. this is why we need robocops.. you can program the common sense into them
The patrol unit might do 130 on a good day going downhill with a tailwind. The Hayabusa will do 220 off the showroom floor and he really thought he had a chance. Not the sharpest tool in the shed.
Why is the police officer so dumb? Did he actually think he had a chance? And then why does he continue a dangerous pursuit and risk innocent peoples lives?
After you lose sight of the person you're pursuing, you become just as dangerous to all other drivers on the road. At this point, I can't tell whose worse, the guy they're "chasing" or the cops that refuse to admit they've been dunked on. The ego trip in this video is everything that wrong in this country. Both sides are idiots and a public risk. If you want to drive like a race car driver, go to the track. The real losers are the innocent drivers that cannot safely travel down the road.
As a sportbike rider, 'Busa would've been kicked outta the club if he'd been stopped. I don't advocate running from the Blue, but any decent rider on a decent sportbike can outrun a Blue car. A friend bought the Hayabusa the 1st year it came out - beautiful.
Looks like someone who just started riding. He was terrified to take turns. Even on shitty tires, a Hayabusa has way more turning ability in it than that. That said, an experienced rider would have made for a very boring video.
The ASP has stopped posting the GPS Data on the camera now. Gee I wonder if that is because of all the outcrying of incredulity on the ego's of these idiot cops. A traffic infraction is NO REASON to risk innocents lives on the roadway. Get over yourselves already.
If this officer worked fro me, we would have a serious chat about his actions shown in this video. Luckily nobody was hurt or killed for such a poor reason to drive so recklessly.
Wait just a sec. Not the cops fault. This is happening because of statutes created by state legislature governing rules of police conduct and pursuit policys. In my state/city if a bike runs from police and hes not wanted for rape, murder, arson or treason or other high felony then risk to cop, biker, and public persons & property is not worth executing a pursuit chase and they let them go. They realize if the biker was speeding or acting up on the road that he will likely ride that way again and it is probably a habit. While hes not killing anyone. Everytime he speeds or pulls a wheelie. Its one time closer to the time he gets caught and ticketed cuz hes unable to run or conditions allow of a pursuit to photograph him,his bike or read a plate. The police here dont sit and radar intown freeway traffic. Too dangerous. Freeways are open season speedways cuz cops dont buzz around on them at 100mph. All traffic speeds 10mph over which is 80. The fast lane is generally 90-95mph but still occasionally have to let a car going 100+ through. Drive whatever speed, just dont pass a cop and youre golden. Police no longer respond to car accidents here either unless its DUI or a fatality. Youre expected to exchange info and all phones have cameras, use them. If you request police come to your accident, could be 1-2 hours. I added a dashcam cuz cant live without one these days. And my state is a stop and identify state. Only ppl that must give i.d. to police is driver during traffic stop and ppl being arrested. Otherwise you must tell them your name if they ask but nothing more. Dont have to tell them SSN#,address, where you work, where youre going, where you came from, age,if you been in trouble before...nothing. i dont even carry i.d. outside my house anymore. Being nervous no longer satisfys "reasonable suspicion"neither does acting suspicious. Neither one is a crime. If you have a dirtbike or offroad motorcycle that has stamped on the frame,"offroad use only" then the DMV allows you to add lights, mirrors, turn signals and horn. Fill out a forn, let them inspect the lights and stuff and they will issue you a plate, title and registration and its street legal. Even with a 2stroke motor. Gotta love Nevada

I think you are not OK after breakign a back :/
"he was okay but broke his back"...ugmmmm.NEWSFLASH.....he broke his back, and you're saying he was okay?He was NOT,most definitely okay at all LOLOL
@@Monts-zw3hi NEWSFLASH, I don't know what ugmmmm means. His back got messed up but he lived, obviously. I do know he made a full recovery from it, not sure why you seem to be getting all worked up over it, it's not as if you are the one who knows what happened and the about guy's recovery, I am.
even a average guy on a busa can loose a lousy driving cop on the highway w ease
I had a ninja zx14 which as you know was the bike that beat the Hayabusa. And yeah it's not a joke. I can be rolling in 3rd at 40 mph, and crack the throttle and it will SLAM into the rev limiter at 140mph 6 or 7 seconds later BEGGING for the next gear. Like people that only drive sports cars or even 600cc bikes just don't understand how insanely powerful these big displacement sport bikes are.
It’s gonna take innocent people dying before they change their pursuit tactics, and then it’s too late.
Unfortunately, that's already happened multiple times. Yet, they still continue to behave recklessly.
That cop is a true Dumb Dumb !!! Cop car 140 mph Hayabusa motorcycle 194 mph. Stock
A group of us past a Cop sitting in the media with his lights on He didn't pull out for our safety and I wasn't stopping for that trip to jail. I was doing 185mph on my GSXR1000. A Hayabusa came past me as if I was doing 100mph
American cops are dangerus to road users never mind criminals.
The only thing officer apprehended was the rider's dust.
Cop: Dispatch, I'm in pursuit of a motorcycle.
Dipatch: Can you give me a description?
Cop: NOPE!! I can't see him anymore!
Dispatch:Must have been a Hayabusa.
Cop: 😢😭 ye-ye-ye-YES!
Officer had no chance and endangered many, many lives for absolutely no reason by continuing on. We are seeing more and more of this type of, 'Maverick tough guy' behavior from law enforcement and are going to need to contact our state legislators in order get them under control. Stop the reckless driving when there is little to no chance of catching a much faster vehicle- radio ahead!!!
Sometimes its good to never give up. And sometimes not. I beleive its a case by case basis.
@@gtboard Chasing a busa in traffic. Give it up.
@@gtboard YES.Agreed.My opinion...MOST of these chases are dangerously pointless.
Why is this cop still chasing at a high speed and the man is gone this Chase should have been called off
That cop knew better than to mess with that much power..that bike goes way over 150mph..that tuned up 5.7 had no chance!!!!
First year of production, the bike did 220 mph, right off the showroom floor !!!
The cop should be asking himself,,,,,,"who is the bigger danger here" the biker or me,,,😮........dah
But it's perfectly OK if a police officer endanger everyone else lives by speeding after someone? Damn hypocrite
Reminds me of Sheriff Buford T Justice
You sounded bigger on the radio!
@@gerafreeman Yeah, even with a stock Busa for a car to be any challenge it has to have about 1,000 HP or better...
What was the purpose of driving like that? That officer should be decommissioned and banned from ever working in law again. Too stupid to have authority.
Putting people's lives in danger over a motorcycle rider...wake up.
Not worth the risk, tremendous waste of fuel for the municipality..m😮
Finally a proper rider who knows how to ride a hayabusa!
They should just call it a day, have a few beers and show up at the rider's home in the morning to confiscate the bike & arrest him.
ego
Why endanger everyone because you have a chip on your shoulder?
Never went over 190 on mine. Sold it while I was still alive.
Cops don't, practice Public Safety. Only egomania.
Man those chargers are slow! He had it floored for 10 min and was barely passing traffic.
Buddy you can’t catch them all. Way to dangerous for that chase to continue.
an experienced biker, even on a dirt bike, can use his advantages, to stymie cops...Hayabusa has a flat out speed advantage
That cop was doing more reckless driving than the biker lol😂
You guys need to understand, a bike has way better acceleration than any cop car. Slow him down before you take off. Don't take off when he's already up to speed.
Tailgating reckless cop.
At 3:45, he should have just called it. His squad's already topped out, and you can't even see the bike anymore
The officer knew he wouldn't and couldn't catch the rider. He stayed in pursuit because, more often than not, the person fleeing would end up crashing (1050). So the officer follows along, waiting to see any skid marks or dust trails indicating a recent crash.
Ideal conditions, roadway for the bike.
Don’t even try to catch that.
That rider has serious skills and balls...
Description:A sport bike your not going to catch
you're* 🙄
I never understood these chases. Instead of 1 guy speeding on a bike, only a danger to himself pretty much, you have 20 cop cars now speeding trying to catch him. Logic?
P.O.S Public Servant was SCARED !!!
"Viscously", huh? Must have made an oily mess!
You caught that too 😊
Damn withput S🤪🤪🤪
Risk a whole bunch of life’s over one guy on a bike. Joke
What is it that the Arkansas cops say "we'll chase you. We'll catch you ". Disclaimer "most of the time ".
The cop is the biggest danger on the road like he ever had a chance with that Suzuki
What do you become if you have absolutely no skills? A cop 😂🤡🤡
Clear back 1970's we ran indiscriminately ran from police with our 750 SS Honda's and 900 Kawasaki's. They had NO CHANCE of catching us!
The cop was an idiot and the busa was slow
As a sportbike rider, 'Busa would've been kicked outta the club if he'd been stopped. I don't advocate running from the Blue, but any decent rider on a decent sportbike can outrun a Blue car. A friend bought the Hayabusa the 1st year it came out - beautiful.
Looks like someone who just started riding. He was terrified to take turns. Even on shitty tires, a Hayabusa has way more turning ability in it than that. That said, an experienced rider would have made for a very boring video.
The Hayabusa can do well over 200mph. Cop cars top out at around 150mph. Good luck.
A Busa is a serious bike. I think it can do 200 mph. Not sure that cop can catch him unless he uses his radio and a helicopter.
Helicopter top out at 160mph.
The ASP has stopped posting the GPS Data on the camera now. Gee I wonder if that is because of all the outcrying of incredulity on the ego's of these idiot cops. A traffic infraction is NO REASON to risk innocents lives on the roadway. Get over yourselves already.
And there are Hayabusas with 500HP turbo power 🚀 faster than the police radio. Bye bye baby.
So get that bike and some GoPro cameras and show us
@@pattiesalon Why? We already know it can be done. Happy 12th birthday!
@@pattiesalon Already been done, look at "Ghost Rider Hayabusa videos" except its in Europe. and over 10 years ago.
The cop is a bigger menace than the bike rider.
Cop is a fool
That’s putting it nicely!
If this officer worked fro me, we would have a serious chat about his actions shown in this video. Luckily nobody was hurt or killed for such a poor reason to drive so recklessly.
He gone
The part of the video with the 'busa actually in it is about 15 seconds. The rest is just a cop driving down the highway.
This just shows how ignorant and stupid cops are putting all these people in danger over his pathetic ego
What a genius putting all the other drivers at risk for a bike he could never catch.
Bike didn't take off nearly as fast as it could have. Good thing for safety reasons
