And to think he's probably like Mahomes in 2018, just playing without knowing how defenses properly work. How this guy can be so good without OTA's and preseason and coming from a college offense that made him no favors for 3 years. He has a lightining release and a pocket presence that 95% of the QBs wanted to have, i see a Marino when i watch him in the pocket.

Full disclosure, I'm a huge Chargers fan since 81 so I'm obviously going to be partial on this video. With that said, what stands out to me the most about Justin Herbert is the production he was able to muster with an inept OL all while being thrown out there with zero training camp, zero pre season games, and zero experience. If you carefully watched this impressive collection of high lights you'll also notice the targets he was throwing to. Who knew of Jaylen Guyton, Tyron Johnson, Donald Parham Jr, Nabers, etc. That's a sign of a true game changer putting dudes on the map with his ability and talents. The future is definitely bright for #10 and the Chargers. Looking forward to a successful 2021 draft and season. This team is A LOT better than their record indicated is not far from being elite. Watch out for these guys.

Tbh I thought that with Rivers and Gordon gone, this would be a transitional year of growing pains where Tyrod Taylor and Justin Herbert would be getting benched for each other due to poor performance. I thought we would take our lumps at the bottom of the league along with the Jets and Jaguars, contending for the number 1 pick before Herbert fully inherited the team his sophomore year. Herbert singlehandedly shattered those expectations. A top pick would've been nice, but having Herbert win 4 straight and head into the offseason with confidence IN SPITE of injuries and questionable coaching - this was NOT a lost season. It was a preview of what we have to look forward to
