Jakey - It’s so clear you truly love Japan! ❤️ Love following you along on your many journeys. So happy you have Yume to guide you. Tell her we said hello! 👋
I'm glad you enjoy the videos! It makes me really happy to bring everyone along on a journey I love so much! I'm happy to have her as well, and I will definitely let her know - Thank you!!
I know, right? It was just a regular old weekend! Fukuoka is Japan's second fastest growing city behind Tokyo, so some things can be pretty crowded pretty often :')
@@JakeyInJapan I see! Looking forward to joining Kyudai this fall! Will be entering as a full time undergraduate student!! Really enjoyed your informative & laid back videos. Hope to see more soon!
@@WTFKerFlims Ahhh, that will be such an awesome experience! I wish I had more time here; I'm jealous!! Thank you for the support on the videos! I am glad you enjoy them :)
@@JakeyInJapan It is OK! I believe you have achieved way more than most people under this short span of time! Keep your head high and there may be plenty more opportunities to live in Japan long term down the road!! 🤞
The average for Japanese men I've seen is around 5'8" (170cm), but being an international student, I have lots of male friends who are well over 6'+ (182cm+). The women tend to be a bit shorter, of course, maybe 5'4" (163cm) but the height varies quite a bit, honestly. I am about 5'10" (178cm) and my girlfriend is around 5'3" (160cm). I wouldn't say that any height within standard deviation would be too tall for Fukuoka. In terms of dating preference, I am sure that varies for each person, but in terms of physical accommodations, perhaps heights that start to get too much over 6' (182cm) could cause discomfort in specific situations like seating in traditional Japanese restaurants. This isn't something I have paid too much attention to, but I will do my best to be vigilant in the future. If you have any other questions, please ask them! Maybe I will make a video about dating in Japan in the future :)
@@amansharma2870 Japan has been a world of endless possibilities for me, and it has met and exceeded nearly all of my expectations. I'll be looking forward to your arrival and your time here - I know it'll be great! And thank you so much for following my channel! If there's anything you're interested in seeing, just let me know!
@@amansharma2870 There are actually a lot of people who understand English! It depends on the circles you choose to run with, whether you stick with international students or expand to Japanese students. Lots of my friends here do not know any Japanese and can function very well. I would of course heavily recommend learning as much Japanese as you can!
