Hey bro i bought the same variant, i am worried about the one issue the rr unit, i heard it gets damaged very soon in interceptor 650 due to engine heating, do u know if they have rectified this issue in 2023 models. And one thing is bash plate really necessary cause i heard it causes over heating.
Hello! Engine heat is definitely an issue for all the 650's in RE, however I have personally not rectified this issue in my bike, btw my bike is a 2024 model. I am not very sure about the issue in the 2023 models. Bash plate is an important accessory I feel as the interceptor has a low ground clearance and the two exhaust pipes lie too close to the ground, so the plates protect them from any unwanted crashes and damage. The plate doesn't have any relation with the heating of the engine, it gets heated at the rate with or without the plate. Hope this answers your doubt 🙂
