I was really hoping for a surface change on this one! It doesn't matter what surface I hit REX pearl with, I hit the VEBO with a 4000 pad and it just wouldn't corner until I put like 5 games on it and a little lane shine started to develop. Was hoping to see if REX hybrid did the same thing.
Yoooo I've been saying the same with the VEBO feel like I get random inconsistent motion with it. Never like the movement I see in vids and I surfaced it a few times
I wonder if this isn’t an attempt to get a ball that is similar how the original Hy-Road and how it reacted on past lane conditions? Everyone knows the original was quite a bit stronger on the lane conditions of the past. Thoughts?
@@skinniestjeansya, but it works out for me. I throw 14 lbs and the OG Hyroad is significantly weaker when going from 15 to 14. The AI stuff allows the 14 lb to have same numbers as 15 and 16.
@@JackandTom-tz8kj Yeah you're right, the night road 14-16 numbers are all over the place. The Road is completely consistent across all 3 weights so that could be appealing. I think the 15s would roll similarly but the others will have more variation. Looks like this is a big improvement for the road for 14 and 16 pound bowlers. That said I love the 15 pound night road so this is an easy choice if you don't have a rex coverstock ball already.
They should of called the ball The Low-Road... We have the Hy-Road... now you take the Low-Road... I think they screwed up by just naming it The Road.

Defintely would put this after my TNT infused when the burn starts just to get it up the lane
I think years ago that was Don Carter's University Bowl... If yes, I tended bar there LOL
sweet ball bro
Good videos...and commentary...helps alot
What do you think of a comparison to the fate?
How you think this would compare to the fate with one being rex hybrid and the other rex pearl

Yeah it’s a cash grab, just like every other SPI release

If i have the Hyroad and Night Road, do i need this one or they too similar to ones i have? Thanks
Had to hit my Night Road with an old 3k pad out of the box. Was way too o/u like this one rolled.
Is it just me or am I seein that AI tech really crushing the pins….?
Do you think this and the attention star could fit in the same bag?
Not even in the same universe of bowling balls
This is the third video I’ve seen where The Road is compared to the Journey. Why not compare it to the Hy-Road?
Don’t have one.
Should have one no doubt!
What weight ball are you using? I have both Road a nd Journey 4 #. Both hook excessively and early!
15lbs
The Road is good for the window it is to be used for. 👍
My G, thanks for helping me NOT secure a spot for that ball in my bag, Period.😂😂
Low in ball on oil. Wait until you see it verus hyper venom your mind will change.
@TheHype-Bowling it looks like a good ball...I'm getting one... just had to give you a hard time... Thank you for making the vids!!!!
Let's be honest, this is a night road. I love the night road but think bad branding held it back. People want some color so here it is.
This has more diff than the Night. Maybe the AI addition has something to do with that.
@@JackandTom-tz8kjon the 15 it looks only .01 difference on both. With the same cover I can't imagine it rolls much different.
@@rbgrn4real I meant in 14 lb. Spread on both numbers is significant. We'll see!
