I like these videos comparing two similar balls. One suggestion for the graphics would be to show the laydown board rather than where your foot is. Everyone has a different lay down position from their foot.
Pretty clear that the rating for the road will probably be about an 8.5 on the hook scale, given that the PBA usually rated the original high road as an eight. It is pretty plain that the road is clearly stronger and you would definitely use a high road once you have more friction later on. Nice way to see the difference and thank you.
If my Hy-Road moved that much I wouldn't need any other ball. I've never seen anyone play that far left or cover that much of the lane with one. It's a straighter option for me, typically a game 3 ball throwing it from mid lane to 2nd/3rd arrow. Any further left it won't come back.
The Road is a Hybrid version of REX, and the Night Road has a Pearl version of the REX cover. Simply put, the Hybrid version will read a bit sooner and be smoother compared to the Pearlized version that will be more clean through the fronts and more reactive on the friction on the back end. You can also manipulate the surface of each ball to make them perform differently. Oh, and the AI outer core lowered the RG a bit so the ball can rev up quicker than the previous Fe2 core.
I actually buy less balls when Storm is producing a new ball every two weeks. I don’t want to buy something that is discontinued in a month, maybe it is just me. Phase2 is a good ball btw.
