For those who asked the song is called "Who Loves You Baby", by Emily Breeze. It's on her Penny Arcade cd but unfortunately it's slightly different than this version. At least on iTunes it is. I like this version better, wish I knew where to buy it :(
Hi, this is Emily. Yeah that older version is lost to the mists of time now. Check out my new band Candy Darling here. th-cam.com/video/P1sdrb6kS7Q/w-d-xo.html
HI most of the tracking shots are filmed from a bike and pre DSLR, so I had a pretty heavy sony ex1 with lens adaptor and nikon lens for the car park shots, the other tracking shots are just the ex1 on its own
@JasonCrossie If u wanna ride with 2!!!brakes u don´t need them necessarily, but if u wanna skid and do tricks, u need them. But there are also Straps for BMX pedals, if u don´t want the toe clips.
i ride a vintage frame fixie and i really want to get a freestyle trick bike but i dont know much about them do u need a really small crank to do tricks and does that with the big wheels make the bike really slow
@JasonCrossie...it depends how well you can skid....i find them very helpful..if ur new to fixed gear then i highly suggest them..just remember to move your feet back before u take ur feet out otherwise ull eat pavement!!
@gp4nut It's really not that bad not being able to rest. Resting on a track bike is not mashing once your legs get used to it and stronger. There are definitely more advantages to fixed gears that tricks. But they do blow out your legs. I am gonna ride my bike fixed without brakes for as long as I can.
Hi Alex, nice video - I was wondering how did you shoot the moving shots? You're not in a car, and you can't be on a bike... Were you running with a steadycam of some kind? Cheers!
This is the next big thing for extreme urban riding and can only get bigger in 2011. I wonder if Juliet and Charge bikes will have a stand at 2011 The London Bike show?
I love the bike, I was just talking to a friend today saying how cool it would be if I built a fixed gear with a matte finish and put stickers all over it.
this is awsome i wish we could go riding sum day but i live in cali =0( i lub ur bike its one of a kind nd that is soo true u can expres ur feelings thru ur bike .
fixies, yeah, the cycling equivalent of chucking your DVD player and reading a book. great for a laugh but no-one will take you seriously if you start banging on about it
The world fell in Love with Juliet a long time ago 😃😃
I started riding fixed gear back in 2009, this was one of the videos that I used to watch on repeat!
Oh man memories! Started riding fixed in 2007. Charge bikes was the Jam back then! Loved the song by Emily Breeze as well!
MORNING!
This video literally got me into cycling
single speed to fixed gear to road bike
and now I've toured SF to LA and I steal a ride whenever I can
Loved this Juliet. You and Dave should revisit your fixie/delivery era in a video sometime. You are so serious🤣🤣👍🏼
WOW she has grown so much as a biker and communicating as well, amazing what bicycling can do for you at all levels!

She sums up the reasons I ride a Fixie, perfectly!!!
Thanks youtube for showing me Julliet from 13 f.in years ago, looks like good times…
Crasy, this Purple Chain, those were really different times, WILD!
Too bad I was not allowed to experience them.
Mad props for including wipeouts/crashes....too many damn "perfect ride" vids out there!
i swear to god i see this vid every morning and night!!
it inspires me to ride forever!

Came here after watching Juliet's most recent video...wow. LIFE
Wow, Juliet from 11 years ago! So this is where it all started...
Proper film-making! Nobody does that anymore.
rides fixed and is super cute!?.....think I just fell in love!
Great vídeo, amazing footage. Very cool bikes! I love it!

Just got say I love the bike very colorful an feminine what brand or is it custom
i ride a vintage frame fixie and i really want to get a freestyle trick bike but i dont know much about them do u need a really small crank to do tricks and does that with the big wheels make the bike really slow
What bars are they using?I like the shortness of them
So beautiful. Compare with now?
She's really cool and I know this video is about her and all, but the guy she's riding with is doing some pretty gnarly tricks!
what components have you changed ever since you got that charge plug
Do you still have the shirt? That is so lush!!!
Do they have a Critical Mass ride in England?
@ongne1234 Do you actually have to look a specific way to enjoy something?
@JasonCrossie...it depends how well you can skid....i find them very helpful..if ur new to fixed gear then i highly suggest them..just remember to move your feet back before u take ur feet out otherwise ull eat pavement!!
Oh the good old days when the riser bars ware still short

That’s a great vid. Memories eh?

does anyone know what stem and riser bars she uses??
How much does a charge bike cost
what kind of handle bars is the running?
what frame is that !?

anyone know the song?
Back when fixed gear bikes were cool :(
..still are mate ! ...
I love the bike, I was just talking to a friend today saying how cool it would be if I built a fixed gear with a matte finish and put stickers all over it.
Hi it's a Charge Plug, thanks for watching
how do you get stickers on your frame like that?
and where?
i wonder if she still rides
@wartree right on... but at least she's not running 40c tires on a volume cutter or something. she's staying true with the 700s.
Get the London look?
What grips are those?
Wait.. is that guy with her SuperTed?
I would say even more, Juliet is beautiful !!!
Juliet Still Rocks 😀😀
Hi mate your one lucky fella she's was gorgeous back then and still is 😜🤙
Every fixed gear rider gives the same reasons for riding one. 1. Purest form of cycling 2. Simplicity 3. Feel one with the bike.
She is gorgeous!
what gear ratio are you running? :0
@curiousdzn Charge Bikes....u can see the name in the title
Don't these bikes have brakes?
A really pretty girl has changed into a really beautiful woman.
Where's the front brake?
@GuttedAtBirth Complete bikes start about 800$ and end at 1500$, what i´ve seen so far. But custom bikes idk.
Wahoo, female fixie fan!! Go girl.
@wartree I agree, tricks are for BMX and the fixie is to roll!
fantastic!
because her bike is an old model :)
this is awsome i wish we could go riding sum day but i live in cali =0( i lub ur bike its one of a kind nd that is soo true u can expres ur feelings thru ur bike .
r u still riding or have u given this hobby up??
OMG!!!!! 10 YEARS AGO!!!!!!
3:25 what happened to the tube??
I got sick of riding a main stream bike so i started riding a bike that's hard to stop on.
It's nearly a retro video. Cool though.
@samuelli817 Probably because it's hyped these days, and they're mostly custom made.
Video ini adalah video pertama yang memperkenalkan aku dengan fixed gear.. Melihatnya lagi menjadi nostalgia
She's lovely. I wish there were more girls like her around.
I don't get it. Why is there a video focused on this particular lady? Nothing she does seems particularly skillful.
I was wondering what gears you were using in the video?
also you've got a very gorgeous looking bike. :)
Gorgeous!
great vid!!
she is so god damn cute
Better in this video than she is now imo 😉
@@AlabamaTree well yeah, she's older now but still a very nice looking woman nonetheless!
@xCarlosKidx thank u.
MORNING🤣
didn't picture her as a hipster, lol thaught she was a country girl..
You look about 12yrs old in this Juliet lol
Her Accent..
fixies, yeah, the cycling equivalent of chucking your DVD player and reading a book. great for a laugh but no-one will take you seriously if you start banging on about it
@sneekz07 nope, u brake with ur legs
The Juliet's bike is beautiful
What about Juliet?
The same thing :)
I hope you are referring that a person and his/her bike, is one ^.^
@wartree I suppose you're watching the wrong video then
20 mm pipe and handlebar ? :D
really do wish there were more fix chicks in sacramento
3:23 what happened?
Young Ted!
On fixed gear bike, bike rides you!
