you had the wheelie bar on right the first time, it is now installed upside down. you want the slanted side up top, that flat side up have up top is the bottom. ive done it both ways and there's a big difference. cheers.
For giggles...put the spectrum 3900 kv motor, 120a esc in it and add the hot racing aluminum pivot ball to all joints...shoe goo the body with hot glue beads n drywall tape and protek skid bars on body...dx3 tx for better trim settings.....im on stock gearing...handles just fine..love the gorgon....3900 kv is more peppy...also add the fan... you'll need it...move esc up next set holes to get battery cable out of chassis and add the arrma reciever box...like $12...cheers mate from Arkansas and God bless
Thanks for the information and happy with it being brushed as just right for how I drive it. The body is taped and it has roof rails. Transmitter it's now on my FlySky GT5.
@@timboles9480 They are not perfect, but I'm still learning and finding CAD very hard. But I was born in the 60's so never did it at school. Look at videos on the tube, some are better then others to learn from.

Thanks, someone else told me I got it wrong 🙂

Very nice! the sliders hopefully will save the body!
Thanks Steve, I just hope they do as I do not think there is more you can do with the body.
Great upgrades, looking forward for your next prints
Thanks Dirk, we will see what we can do with making things.
Good upgrades for the Gorgon, espicially the wheeliebar. 👍🙂
It needed the wheelie bar as it does scrap it's back if not carful.
brilliant upgrades 👍👌 looks great 👍
Thanks 🙂
great upgrades and cool 3Dprinted stuff
I'm slowly learning more on Cad, the lessons on the Tube are so hard as they go into things I do not need and makes it harder to remember the basics.
Thanks for your brilliant work on 3D print files. And videos are superb
Thank you 🙂
Absolutely nice work! 👍😎👍
Thanks, CAD is so hard to get it to work right, but making more than I used to.
The roof sliders are excellent. They look very professional. I especially like the inside fittings. Great work Mal.
Thanks Del, I'm pleased how they came out but still need to workout more how cad works. There are ones on eBay and his design they do looks as good.
Those roof slidders are going to come in handy. I like how they came out the slight curve was a nice touch to not deform and pull down the body.
The cure was done with a hair dryer, it was easier to print them flat.
Thanks man! Gonna put this on my gorgon!
🙂
Looks so good, nice job, man.
Thank you 🙂hope it all works.
Those are sure to help
I hope they do 🙂
Roof skids are great dude nice work ! Can you share the file with me ?
If I can work it out I will put on Thingiverse.
I have just put the files up on Thingiverse, just search Arrma Gorgon.
Can you share the file that you used to print the roof rails and the under piece? What material did you use?
The files are on Thingiverse - just look up Arrma Gorgon. I used PLA.
@@BasBoyRC awesome thx.
Any chance you'd share the roof protector stl files?
They are on "Thingiverse" just look up Arrma Gorgon.
@@BasBoyRC ty so much, i can't design for crap so this helps alot

What size screws did you use to put the roof slides on?
No idea, they were what I found in a screw box.
@@BasBoyRC ok. Thanks. I plan on printing the slides. I just got the Gorgon for my son for Christmas.
@@jasonobrien569 The screw will be the thickness of the two parts, body and the nut.
Wheellie bar is upside down. It's to low that way.
I have noticed since and will flip it.
Do you have a link for the file(s) for the roof sliders?
Not at the moment, I need to workout how to put it up somewhere.
Ok, I will keep checking back… but such a wonderful addition to the body!
@@mikechipman3189 I'm not an expert on computers, takes me a while to sort things out.
The files are now on Thingiverse just search Arrma Gorgon. I hope they work as my first time doing this.
I will check it out this evening when I get home from work! Thank you!
