Great video. I haven't bent any shock shafts on my 3s Granite or 3s Typhon but I have had a couple of them that have simply pulled out at the base where they are press fitted. I'm just thankful that there is a Hobbytown store near me. I enjoy going there when I need parts the same day and for the great customer support they offer.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Lose those pliers. Arrma includes a multi wrench tool with these trucks that is designed to unscrew/screw that shock together/apart. You can get it off their website, it's with the standard parts list of each vehicle.
Yeah I figured that one out after the fact. You can also compress the shock so the spring retainer can key into the shock cartridge. Some really smart person at Arrma designed it that way.
I just watched the video again. I missed the part in the beginning where you mentioned they make a tool for it but you didn't have it. I'll insert my foot into my mouth.

Thanks! This was very helpful! 😊
Can you do a shock for an Arrma typhon 6s. I’m having a lot of problems taking off the shock cap.
you dont have to use the pliars. the end of the shock perch has slots. compress the sock all the way and twist to remove the cartrage
Whoa. My mind is blown. I had no idea. Thanks for the info.
True, but you can't compress the shock all the way with a bent shock shaft
Yup. I was like wth is he using pliers lol
Great video... but I'm stuck at the first step... I'm just not able to get the red cap off... :-(
If you take a pair of pliers and gently squeeze the cap while holding the black shock body with your fingers it should come loose.
nice I wish there would put a hobby town hobby plex in upstate new york we have to do everything on line
