The Bavarian Forest - Deep, Dark and Enchanted

  • After an unusual mass reproduction of bark beetles in the nineties, thousands hectares of old spruce forest were destroyed. Soon after, a new, healthier forest started to grow - a new primeval forest. Within a few years, in place of the former monoculture, a diverse forest developed, rich in spruces, ashes, beech and fir trees. Naturally, this diversity has in turn attracted new animal and plant species. Even lynx and otters returned and made Bavaria their home again.
    The film presents the Bavarian Forest National Park as the seasons pass by. In autumn, the young forest is at its prettiest and its slopes are wonderfully colorful. In some years, deers’ roar can be heard deep into the fall. Countless stubs and fallen trees are ideal for lizards and vipers to catch some sunshine.
    Winter is harsh and cold in the Bavarian Forest. Storms last for days and temperatures reach 30°C below zero. The cold brings a lot of suffering to the inhabitants. Yet, during no other season is the nature so pristine and unspoiled. Many animals have to fight for their survival, for only the strongest and the healthiest can withstand in the times of food shortage.
    Finally, the spring arrives - even if too late for some… The slopes are taken over by the green and the forest starts to take on bright colors.
    By the time summer comes, all the forest birds are back and the forest is filled with the sound of their songs. Butterflies, beetles and bees repopulate the blooming slopes. Even late-brooding sparrow hawks’ and pygmy owls’ chicks are now full-fledged.
    The film shows how powerfully and relentlessly the wildness has returned to the national park. Nature has come to life again without the man’s guidance, as it has done for millions of years. Throughout the year, the national park offers fascinating insights into the unique world of the Bavarian Forest.

    Enjoyed a lot. I could really feel the nature. I felt as if I am lost in the world of dreams and have gone beyond the boundaries of monotonous life. A soothing experience indeed. Thanks for all this 😊

      Thank the actual networks and producers who’ve made all these existing documentaries that this channel steals and profits selfishly from … this random person with a TH-cam channel that changes titles to avoid copyright infringement and detection from this site doesn’t have one thing in the slightest to do with any of the work or ownership of these already existing films they exploit for selfish profit. So shocked that so many people aren’t aware of that, but then again, I’ve been watching documentaries of wildlife avidly for decades and am familiar with most of them.

    Why can't nature documentaries like this be on television?

    • @breAnnasmama
      @breAnnasmama ปีที่แล้ว

      They are. This person with this channel steals all their videos from the existing networks and producers that already made these films. They do not have one thing to do with any part of these documentaries and selfishly profit off every bit of them and change titles to avoid copyright infringement and detection from this site. Seriously, this channel has NOTHING to do with any of the work that they steal …. I’m shocked more people don’t know that … I can literally tell ya which network made / produced or owns most of these , just from avidly watching documentaries for so long. Don’t fall for this or the other handful of channels deceptive tactics , as they create these lengthy descriptions in the comment section and they change titles of these EXISTING films trying to have people think they’re somehow affiliated in any remote way when they’re most definitely NOT! I don’t report them simply bc I don’t report anyone on social media , but I can assure you, these many many videos are available on tv and other media outlets as well and are not the property of these random people who exploit them for selfish profit …

    Remember just how much personal effort these nature films demand from all humans, education then the often life times of passionate dedication. Our generations in youth are shaped in healthy routines which have great effect on our social environment. Imagine an other army which not only produce good Film worth videos as "Free High-Quality Documentaries" on TH-cam but doing the work so critically needed to defend our living on this God blessed planet & not one which is held hostage by the profiteering fear which cry wolf while merely intent on taking the nature out of the life we are all both held hostages in the same fashion but actively working under the very syndicates which also weaponize our children. The dignity of the Military's training can be held practiced and designed with the same if not inherently more honored disaplies giving our young men & wemon training and a house & home to sustain. The wars are real but it is the fence builders who need a pyridine change. We find them as the profiteers holding the gates of segregations such as class and immoral caste demand. Poverty planet wide need our grateful belief more than any battle ready mass murder machine especially at the Gate OF Hell & genocide. "Pride is cheap, absent dignity". God bless our military troops the edge of wear humane life travels & civilly maturing through hard work and disciplined work with our planet's animals everywhere. Thank TH-cam and The Bavarian Forest - Deep, Dark and Enchanted "Free High-Quality Documentaries" YVO

    People use documentaries like this to learn, which means the information should be as acurate as reasonably possible. No one is perfect but claiming red deer are 350 kilos is just lazy. A huge red deer is 250 kilos and thats like record size, an average male is like 150 kilos, thats a serious difference. If you cant be bothered to get info that simple correct then how much can any of this info be trusted. Maybe it doesnt matter, its just a video showing animals, but it's disappointing to me. I think videos like this are valuable for education and potential conservation. It's worth the small effort to try and make then reasonably accurate.
    In general I really appreciate your videos. Please keep up the good work. People need to value nature before its too late.
