I shaved my head shiny bald 2 months ago in support of my favorite aunt. Now that I work remotely, I’d just take my laptop, work from her house and leave after dinner. When I casually walked in her house with a matching bald she was soooo surprised and once the initial shock wore off she was constantly touching my lumpy head laughing and saying “wow”. She recently lost her battle and now I’m the only bald female in the family. It’s kind of a weird and lonely feeling but I don’t regret doing it ... Sometimes I wish I did it sooner. It seems like it won't grow past my mid back. It falls out when I run my hand through it and when I pull excess from the ends. My scalp itches and I pull stuff out of it and I feel it is time to shave it and wear a wig when I go out in public. Will my hair be healthier if I shave it? Is there a possibility it won't grow back at all? I'm worried about that. I'm only 20 years old

My ex and I broke up BECAUSE I shaved my head and it’s definitely made me feel even more insecure about not having hair but I’m definitely glad I did it and can’t wait for my hair to grow back with a fresh start
It sounds to me like if you hadn't shaved your head, you would instead have shaved away years of your life being with a man like that. If he abandoned you so easily over something so small that was your personal choice and did not harm him in any way, imagine how quickly he would've left if you ever got in an actual problem and he actually had to deal with issues. Thank your stars you made that decision you got to see his true colours now instead of in a situation when you were vulnerable.
I've had a 360-undercut for two years and shaved my whole head last week to let it grow out evenly over the next few years. I have just started going out in public and I absolutely love feeling invisible; it's giving me time to really travel inward and learn about myself as a plain old human being.

But what really gets me is that people who you talk to on daily basis giving you the weird look as if they don't like what they see. Telling it on your face that you look different. I am a guy, had shoulder length hair for the past 2 years. Shaved today. It doesn't look bad but some poor choices led me to baldness and bad hair quality. I am actually getting a transplant tomorrow, about 1400 grafts and them planning to grow it all out again but now with extreme care.
@@noon9531 Yes. Given that you are massaging with coconut oil and stuff. If you are facing baldness, you may need to use minoxidil lotion. It definitely grows better if you do these.

I shaved my head five years ago and kept it shaved (slick at times) the whole time, except a couple of times I had a very short (quarter inch) boy fade. I had very long hair all my life. I loved it. I want to grow it back out now just because I’m tired of it but I also don’t want to have to style it or all of the care…but I can’t get past the boy fade cut without being tired of it and shaving it off. I want the look of my long hair but I LOVE the ease of not having to worry about it and the freedom of being bald. I don’t know what I want to do anymore. It’s a definite test to grow it back out. @@vaigaunni9571 I just used clippers, at home. I have shaved it with a razor before but it breaks out. Every time it gets more than two weeks of growth I can’t stand the feeling of it and shave it again so there’s no progress with growing it out. I forgot I even posted that comment or that I was tired of it! 😂😂

I’m at the point where I want my hair to grow now. At one point I was completely bald not on purpose I did that on accident lol but I’ve shaved my head about 3 times now. I hope anyone I date will be okay about that because it’s my coping mechanism. Hopefully I get to the point where I can grow it out though. I did it mostly for those people who are having a hard time standing up for themselves like those that are different to. The worldly way says that beauty matters and that statement doesn’t sit right with me so I told myself I’d shave my head until I love myself. Getting there but I really don’t want to have to keep shaving it so I’m just gonna turn to God at this point lol
I face the problem of weird hairstyle most of the time. I usually get my hair cut everytime almost to a boy cut and when it grows out most of the time my hair at the back is longer. There are days when you feel amazing with your haircut and some days not. And the constant confusion whether to let it grow out and have a few weeks of bad hairstyle or just cut it back short. Haven’t yet shaved my head, but having short hair itself feels empowering and you feel different and special from a crowd. If I do have a regret it is the fact that I can’t do the “hair flip” back at other girls but otherwise it’s worth the sacrifice:)
As someone who has had a pixie cut earlier, I do understand the pains of growing out a pixie cut. I grew it out faster by taking biotin, and settled for a short bob. You should do what you wanna do. A lot of people had "opinions" on what I should do with my hair and its best to take their advice with a pinch of salt
I have i bit curly hairs, so i have to straight them every mounth.. Today i went to a unknown saloon, i never went there before, i ask to straight my hairs by straighting cream, not with the straightener, he start his work and he does a hair cut first, and then he start the straighting process and he put something else in that cream.. Then he start combining my hairs and the cream was still on my hair.. When comb for the first time i can see my hairs coming up in comb.. I was like wtf, then my head start burning, and i have to shave my head, Thats why i am here watching this video.. I am going to file a case against that fucking idiot

@@priyajessy it's been 3 months and it grew only 1 inch. I must say I'm not satisfied. But I am sure I'll feel better once it's reached averages length. Time seems to pass really slow when I think about my hair. But if I keep myself busy with my daily life, it does it's work well (if that makes any sense 😅)

I used to straighten my hair a lot and it had become very dry. Now my hair is not that dry.. My hair is neck length. I had trimmed (1inch) my hair a month ago. By the end of this month it's going to be 2nd year. If you shave your head you'll have bob length in the 1st year, neck length in the 2nd year and in the 3rd year you'll have chest length . It takes complete 3 years to grow hair in a proper length.

I am thinking of going for a headshave (to donate to cancer patients' wig) and also some of the reasons in this video. I do feel quite nervous now. But i know i have to do this as an honour to someone close to me whom I lost to cancer. My family is kind of aversive still.but hopefully they will fully understand my obligations. It was an incredible experience..now my hairs have grown back but one thing is that i am never ever going to be insecure about my looks. Feels more powerful and more connected to my inner self than appearance. Just one suggestion. Do not try razor to shave ur head..go for trimmer (i tried razor and my scalp has been super dry since then). I am trying to reverse it by regular oiling..

We tried all remdies & medicines and went to hospital tried allmost all methods. But no use. Finally doctor told no other options go for a headshave... I was scared & nervous and i didn't accept it first.. Then planned for 2years they finally i got gutz and confidence to do it.. So i did it last week.. Actually i tried to do it in 2020 first lockdown but it's not happened.. But this year lockdown it happened If your hair is damged or you want to experience ones in your life surely go for it. First you will not get confidence to do.. But after takjng Trimmer or razor you qill get confidence. My hair was too lengthy. I cut my long hair to bob length @ morning and taked some photos &videos. Then evening.. I did boy cut.... Then night i trimmed of all my hair ( 0 trim look ) then went for clean razor shave... Now I'm completely bald look and all are saying do headshave in every weeks for 1year after that you grow... Then hair damges will ok and little thick hair so I'll do every week for 1year Pls don't cover your head after shaving it will affect yout hair growth... Don't use scafs, cap, hats etc.. I did shave my hair when i was 18yrs old due to health issues.. after which my hair grew twice the dense..now I'm 24 nd I did keratin..the stupidest thing I did ever..I started losing hair after keratin..I decided to shave it off nd my mom was not okay with tat..so I cut my hair almost to the shoulder.. Then I happened to noe the solution given by my mother..its simple..we just have to take care of our hair take we did when we're in school.. my mother used to take care of my hair when I was in school.. OIL I apply oil everyday nd massage back then..since college I dont do tat..so I just tried it for a month..I applied oil every morning once I woke nd had a massage..I did this for a month..and I hardly shed any hair now..nd I'm so happy tat I'm retaining my hair.. My advice would be..PLS DONT USE CHEMICAL PRODUCTS!

But what really gets me is that people who you talk to on daily basis giving you the weird look as if they don't like what they see. Telling it on your face that you look different.
But I've grown to not care anymore and will instead focus on improving my health.
I buzzed mine a couple of days ago with an 8 guard because I didn't dare go shorter. And I found out my head is an ugly shape. 🙄 You, and every other woman on TH-cam who have buzzed their hair, look amazing. Also, I love your accent. Your English is still extremely easy to understand .

I am a guy, had shoulder length hair for the past 2 years. Shaved today. It doesn't look bad but some poor choices led me to baldness and bad hair quality. I am actually getting a transplant tomorrow, about 1400 grafts and them planning to grow it all out again but now with extreme care.

@@noon9531 Yes. Given that you are massaging with coconut oil and stuff. If you are facing baldness, you may need to use minoxidil lotion. It definitely grows better if you do these.

I shaved my head five years ago and kept it shaved (slick at times) the whole time, except a couple of times I had a very short (quarter inch) boy fade. I had very long hair all my life. I loved it. I want to grow it back out now just because I’m tired of it but I also don’t want to have to style it or all of the care…but I can’t get past the boy fade cut without being tired of it and shaving it off. I want the look of my long hair but I LOVE the ease of not having to worry about it and the freedom of being bald. I don’t know what I want to do anymore. It’s a definite test to grow it back out. @@vaigaunni9571 I just used clippers, at home. I have shaved it with a razor before but it breaks out. Every time it gets more than two weeks of growth I can’t stand the feeling of it and shave it again so there’s no progress with growing it out. I’m at the point where I want my hair to grow now. At one point I was completely bald not on purpose I did that on accident lol but I’ve shaved my head about 3 times now. I hope anyone I date will be okay about that because it’s my coping mechanism. Hopefully I get to the point where I can grow it out though. I did it mostly for those people who are having a hard time standing up for themselves like those that are different to. The worldly way says that beauty matters and that statement doesn’t sit right with me so I told myself I’d shave my head until I love myself. Getting there but I really don’t want to have to keep shaving it so I’m just gonna turn to God at this point lol
I face the problem of weird hairstyle most of the time.
I usually get my hair cut everytime almost to a boy cut and when it grows out most of the time my hair at the back is longer.
There are days when you feel amazing with your haircut and some days not. And the constant confusion whether to let it grow out and have a few weeks of bad hairstyle or just cut it back short. Haven’t yet shaved my head, but having short hair itself feels empowering and you feel different and special from a crowd.
If I do have a regret it is the fact that I can’t do the “hair flip” back at other girls but otherwise it’s worth the sacrifice:)

As someone who has had a pixie cut earlier, I do understand the pains of growing out a pixie cut. I grew it out faster by taking biotin, and settled for a short bob.

Today i went to a unknown saloon, i never went there before, i ask to straight my hairs by straighting cream, not with the straightener, he start his work and he does a hair cut first, and then he start the straighting process and he put something else in that cream..
Then he start combining my hairs and the cream was still on my hair..
When comb for the first time i can see my hairs coming up in comb..
I was like wtf, then my head start burning, and i have to shave my head,

@@priyajessy it's been 3 months and it grew only 1 inch. I must say I'm not satisfied. But I am sure I'll feel better once it's reached averages length. Time seems to pass really slow when I think about my hair. But if I keep myself busy with my daily life, it does it's work well (if that makes any sense 😅)

@@vaigaunni9571 I went to barber shop. He shaved my head. Well it's been half years since I shaved my head. The growth of my hair is pretty good. I used to straighten my hair a lot and it had become very dry. Now my hair is not that dry.. My hair is neck length. I had trimmed (1inch) my hair a month ago. By the end of this month it's going to be 2nd year. If you shave your head you'll have bob length in the 1st year, neck length in the 2nd year and in the 3rd year you'll have chest length . It takes complete 3 years to grow hair in a proper length.

I am thinking of going for a headshave (to donate to cancer patients' wig) and also some of the reasons in this video. I do feel quite nervous now. But i know i have to do this as an honour to someone close to me whom I lost to cancer. My family is kind of aversive still.but hopefully they will fully understand my obligations. Lets hope for the best

@@vaigaunni9571 shaved at my home. But i see nowadays that some parlours offer a free headshave (sorry i do not know the names so u will have to search). It was an incredible experience..now my hairs have grown back but one thing is that i am never ever going to be insecure about my looks. Feels more powerful and more connected to my inner self than appearance.
Just one suggestion. Do not try razor to shave ur head..go for trimmer (i tried razor and my scalp has been super dry since then). I am trying to reverse it by regular oiling..

I'm lil modern girl and i love my hair. But my hair is fully damged & dandruff.. We tried all remdies & medicines and went to hospital tried allmost all methods. But no use. Finally doctor told no other options go for a headshave... I was scared & nervous and i didn't accept it first.. Then planned for 2years they finally i got gutz and confidence to do it.. So i did it last week.. Actually i tried to do it in 2020 first lockdown but it's not happened.. But this year lockdown it happened
If your hair is damged or you want to experience ones in your life surely go for it. First you will not get confidence to do.. But after takjng Trimmer or razor you qill get confidence. My hair was too lengthy. I cut my long hair to bob length @ morning and taked some photos &videos. Then evening.. I did boy cut.... Then night i trimmed of all my hair ( 0 trim look ) then went for clean razor shave... Now I'm completely bald look and all are saying do headshave in every weeks for 1year after that you grow... Then hair damges will ok and little thick hair so I'll do every week for 1year
Pls don't cover your head after shaving it will affect yout hair growth... Don't use scafs, cap, hats etc.. Go outside withyour bald look face evwrybudy... And be bold...

I did shave my hair when i was 18yrs old due to health issues.. after which my hair grew twice the dense..now I'm 24 nd I did keratin..the stupidest thing I did ever..I started losing hair after keratin..I decided to shave it off nd my mom was not okay with tat..so I cut my hair almost to the shoulder..
Then I happened to noe the solution given by my mother..its simple..we just have to take care of our hair take we did when we're in school.. my mother used to take care of my hair when I was in school.. OIL
I apply oil everyday nd massage back then..since college I dont do tat..so I just tried it for a month..I applied oil every morning once I woke nd had a massage..I did this for a month..and I hardly shed any hair now..nd I'm so happy tat I'm retaining my hair..
My advice would be..PLS DONT USE CHEMICAL PRODUCTS!

I’m overweight to and don’t wear makeup or dress feminine I fear I’ll look bad with it being shaved to but I’m really thinking about it or a pixie cut having hair to my waist is a pain to care for
