I don't see what the advantage is ... When I started learning after effects (2010) I could already do this type of work. Exactly what is the benefit of buying it if you have to manually redo and cut the elements?
Cutting elements is not the worst part of the photo animation (plus there are new AI powered masking tools that make it even easier now) - the single most time-consuming process (without toolkit such as Photomotion) is the actual 2.5D setup that you can re-use. We've done quite a few experiments with beginner to advanced AE users to see if Photomotion saves them time and as soon as they learned which button does what, they were able to create these animations in a fraction of time compared to any other process (including manually animating it in AE). And that was on a single picture - as soon as you start animating multiple images, you can expect anything between 4-10x faster workflow by using a toolkit like Photomotion. Also, remember - this is just one projection included in Photomotion. We have 6 of them in total, each creating a different type of photo animation.
when start moving timeline on 15:40 it's like i didn't cut the layer it's like the full picture but if i don't touch the timeline and move the blue controller before i touch the timeline its ok and it is the layer i cutted before. what is my mistake? i tried few times from start by the tutorial and its the same problem . i think theres something i do wrong with the roto brush tool . becouse other layers that i cut with pen tool dosn't change when i drag the timeline
Very likely you used a rotobrush and forgot to do Autotrace on the mask, therefore rotobrush was only applied on a single frame. If you need help setting it up let us know on chat.integnity.com
I bought this product... and I haven't gotten far, as I'm stuck on the parallax tutorial. Once I double click the add a background option, there isn't a parent layer for me to parent my image layer to to keep the scaling in proper perspective.... Like in your video. What am I doing wrong, I literally follow your instruction step by step.

I don’t know how to animate hair in portrait. And my layers aren’t working properly in Parallax. Are there more tutorials I haven’t found any? Please help!

Make sure you're running on the latest version of Photomotion - this feature was added in Photomotion 10.2

Absolutely, that’s actually even better as Photoshop has better masking tools than AE.

Can mirage be used to edit crowds
Possibly yes although it would depend on how far is the crowd from the camera etc
up to 1 seconds only the background cuts? i drag to 5 seconds it doesnt work, its still 1 seconds, parallax mode
If you used rotobrush you need to autotrace it after (otherwise AE only applies that mask on the frame where you used the rotobrush)
