Fun fact - The lone rider that was taunting Dany said in low Valyrian "I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries."
A little Easter egg for Monty Python fans
didnt know that...nice fun fact :)
The celebration over Joffrey I love it 😂
If you go back and pay close attention to the wedding, you'll see some clues about who, what and how they did Joffrey in. It wasn't until after seeing this episode that I picked up on it.
You can clearly see Tyrion giving Joffrey a goblet full of wine. There's never been a question about it ;)
Joffrey was a vibrant and bright flame snuffed out too soon by a spiteful man. Death to Tyrion!
@DorisDay-lw4xs Lady Olena leans in when talking to Sansa (just before she says "Killing a man at a wedding, horrid..." and strokes her hair while brushing past the necklace--you'll see that when she does, she pulls a stone off of it--the one that contains the poison, presumably to drop in Jorrfey's wine when everyone is distracted by "Look, the pie!"
Arya knew to say to the common folk guy and his daughter that she was loyal to House Tully because they are in the Riverlands, an area that House Tully has ruled over forever so the people are loyal to the Tully’s (Cats family)
Right and she is a high-born, well educated "lady".. She knows her stuff
25:15. One of the characters from the book that i miss the most is Strong Belwas. He was Dany's champion and the scene was hilarious.
Onions and Liverworts!!
2/10
Not enough shit
I've read the first book myself, but for the rest of the released books I've listened to them on audiobook. The narrator really ruined a lot of characters for me for some reason, Strong Belwas was one of them. I kept thinking "Why does this guy sound so dumb? I don't care about him somebody kill him please!" Its the way the narrator read his voice. (Course that wasn't the worst of it. No the worst thing about listening to GOT on audiobook is to hear an old man narrate the sex scenes, trying to put on a womanly voice for the female characters, moaning and whatnot. Ugh! LMAO)
@@RyoHazuki224 Yeah I have to say I don't really enjoy Dotrice's slobbery narration to be honest.
@@RyoHazuki224thats why i dont listen to audio books. The narrator can ruin characters or spoil plottwists with articulations, tone, dialects....
I feel really bad for Jack Gleeson, he did so good playing the psychopathic character that many people can't even look at him without cringing and thinking about Joffrey. One can hope that one day we will all forget and he can get serious work again.
He's gotten back into acting a bit
im one of the only people that was sad when he died, i enjoyed hating his character..im like "aww who do i get to hate now?" ... then Ramsay Bolton came into play :D
@@DeRockMedia That's the thing. Lose the horrible guy and the story feels empty. Fortunately, the real villain rose just a couple of episodes later. Not everyone saw it.
@@Leo_ofRedKeep ya, i was worried nobody could be worse than Joffrey but i was dead wrong lol
He is doing a movie about a childrens book
Tywin would never kill his grandchildren. His whole thing is LEGACY. Family/ the Lannister name is most important to him. He even told Tyrion that the only reason he was alive was because he couldn’t prove Tyrion wasn’t his. Having less Lannisters doesn’t do him any service
Agree!
Of course he would. If all he cares about is legacy and the elder is incompetent, killing him to replace him by a better younger brother choice makes complete sense. It's not as if Tywin cared for the people themselves.
@@Leo_ofRedKeep I never said he cared for them but having less Lannisters in his arsenal does not benefit him.
@@lilbitx496 It does if he thinks the one he has will end up making a mess of things. Same reason he dislikes Tyrion, who he fears would bring shame on the family name.
That's a stretch
I love how happy the Purple Wedding made you guys. It tickled us all.
The intro😂😂😂
Happiest death well have for a bit 😂😂
Just for a bit🤏🏽😂
That intrro was awseome guys, made my day 🤣🤣
It was a fun time after Joffrey's death debating with friends and co-workers on who killed Joffrey. I started being known as the Game Of Thrones whisperer because I nailed it the night it aired. All I did was ask myself what out of the stream of events was odd and out of place. Then I rewound the episode to the wedding and watched it again. Bamn!! I saw it. If you're someone that pays attention to details, it isn't hard to see.
"Don't watch the mouth. Watch the hands!" - Peter B. Parker (Into the Spiderverse)
Miss could you please stop touching my necklace
"We're all liars here." Like the Cheshire cat told Alice, "We're all mad here."
So in the books, there was a sex scene between Jaime and Cersei in front of dead Joffrey. But it was the first time they had seen eachother in over a year, he JUST got back from his road trip with Brienne. And it wasn’t just Jaime deciding ‘oh I’m gonna get hot and bothered in the sept’ it was both of them having a very emotional reunion and Cersei very much consented and the book even says, ‘guided him in’.
In S3E04, Cersei went to see Tywin to complain about Margaery influencing Joffrey.
The conversation ended with Cersei saying "Perhaps you should try stopping him from doing what he likes" and Tywin answering "I will".
Yeah Tywin didn’t kill Joffrey
@@theBOSpaladin101 Are you sure he doesn't know who did? It explains a few strange things that take place in following episodes.
Tommen is Robert's second son (legally, unless and until everything comes out), and Joffrey died without issue, so, of course he is next in line.
Yes, Tywin doesn't want the title of King. He wants to rule as Hand. He will have the most influence. He was Aerys' Hand and later Joffrey's.
4:28 just so you guys know, as much as I have been thoroughly enjoying your reactions, THIS was the moment you got my sub
I swear you guys are my favorite GOT reactors
100% agree… even the first 45 seconds of this video were pure gold!
Sorry nothing beats my lovely Bust Reacts, they even make custom songs/intros for certain events. Spartan and Pudgey are great too.
@@Quzganah this channel is really good at following along without being confused half the time and they’re hilarious
@@Quzga nah not spartan and pudgey, i cant stand with the fakenes of pudgey, she alr watch got for sure. spartan is real tho
@@gunaditon That surprises me! Pudgey is so nice, never came across as fake to me.
The bigger ones like Normies feel very fake to me.
Well, if you guys want to binge watch the show, I'll be happy to binge watch your reactions too🤣
Right ? 😂😂 I wait impatiently for them to release the next episode every time!
I'm the same way. Everyday if they could.
Yes!!!
These two are so cringe
Those are not the collars of the slaves Daenerys killed, but the collars of the slaves SHE FREED. She is appealing to the slaves so they revolt against the Masters. She is not scaring them.
Weren’t they the collars of the slaves on the crosses because I know she ordered them to be taken off of the corpses
probably both. Her message is "Everybody over here is collar-free."🤷🏽♀️
He said "the people that _they_ killed"--I think in reference to the slaves who were crucified by the masters.
Every time a new Targaryen is born, the gods toss the coin in the air and the world holds its breath to see how it will land.
@@ceazer5963thats literally anti-targ propaganda the maesters started saying bc they were notoriously known to hate targs. In reality there werent that many mad targs.
I like how jaimes hand is in the graveyard😂
Tywin is a master chess player, he knows that Oberyn wanted revenge but instead of fighting him, he brings him closer so he can keep an eye on him.
Tywin has no reason to kill Joffrey and it would be too much of a fuss because Joffrey was already king and he already had the alliance with House Tyrell. Joffrey was still very young and Tywin probably either thought he'd grow out of it or they'd just have to endure it for a time before something like this happened. I do think Tywin knows 100% that Tyrion did not kill him though but he also doesn't know who did. Tywin is one of those people who is fine ruling in the background. He did it with the Mad King for 20 years, he wasn't all up in Cersei's business while she was Robert's Queen, and he was fine with Joffrey to an extent. I honestly believe Tywin just wanted his kids and grandkids to act right, marry who he tells them to marry, and have legitimate children.
Maester Luwin drilled the Stark children on Houses, their lords, who was allied with whom and the words of each house. Arya is the daughter of a Tulley, and would know much about the house. Given their location, the man would almost certainly be loyal to the Tulleys, but might have had less favor for a house further north such as the Starks, not to mention, bringing her father's name into the matter puts her at risk because it leads to who she is. She is keen.
And so pretty much 100 percent of viewers were upset-again, rightly so. In George R.R. Martin's books, Jaime doesn't rape Cersei alongside their son's corpse in the sept. Yes, he is aggressive. Yes, she resists at first. But as Martin himself has put it, "though the time and place is wildly inappropriate and Cersei is fearful of discovery, she is as hungry for him as he is for her."
"Hurry,” Cersei whispers in the book. “Quickly, quickly, now, do it now, do me now. Jaime Jaime Jaime.”
And that's what pissed everybody off. By changing consensual incest to incestuous rape, GoT appeared to be changing Jaime's character. "Benioff and Weiss’s alteration wasn’t merely one of degree, but one of kind.
Maybe they shot it that way to let the audience know that Jamie isn't a "good guy"... and that he still is capable of being the asshole he was for the first two seasons.
@@NovaLena22 still doesn't make any sense, because raping his sister is just so out of character. his sister and their kids are the only people he loves and cares about.
they also changed danys first time with Karl Drogo which in the book was consensual and a lot more passionate and romantic.
@@sam-psonsmith9951 People can love someone and still abuse them. Sadly, it happens all the time.
@@NovaLena22 Yes, people sometimes do that, but in his case it makes no sense.
This show was just incredible. I don’t believe anything will ever come close to topping it for me personally
3:30 is exactly what we all said when it originally aired 😂
Loved the enthusiam. I was excited to watch with you both.
😂😂😂😂🎉
The Introduction is Comic Gold
This is my fourth time rewatch the series I love watching it again, with people who hasn't seen it before
2:05 I know Tywin Lannister is an awful human being, but my god Charles Dance has the ability to make me shiver when he commands like that
You guys are the best!! Intro was so funny and accurate
I've been having a very bad weekend. That over the top intro really made my day 😁. Thanks a million for the pick-me-up.
3:00 I'm cracking UP because we all know ☠️😂
"I fucking hate Thenns." Tormund Giantsbane.
Cody is right, Lady Olenna is pure legend and the Ulyimate Badass. Cody sees that in her....
Hold on tight for the acting this season….amazing. You will know ….. there should be Oscar’s for this show.
There were Emmys and they were given appropriately
there's no Oscars for tv shows
"Tywin wants to be king" He was already the most powerful man in Westeros, so he was the real king not Joffrey
That intro was HELLA funny!!! 🎉
Cersei killing Joffrey would be a hell of a twist.
Cersei didn't even feel safe and happy at the wedding, so it wouldn't be the time (for Tyrion) to take everything away from her.. She was angry about everything. She felt threatened by Margaery. She felt threatened by Brienne.
Going out like a true bitch 🎉❤
The party over Joffery's death lasyed several days, apparently.
Y’all should make a list of people you hated/loved dying
"Where's Gendry?"
Excellent question.
in a boat on his way to KL
granted I didn't watch every single GOT reaction on youtube, but as far as I've seen no other channel put so much effort like you guys. The graphics, the way you keep up with every character... chefs kiss!
The Cersei and Jamie scene in the church next to Joffery was consensual in the book, and Cersei initiated it. This is one of a few really weird choices the show makes.
Lol few?
@@lilbitx496 Yeah. Anything they did outside of the books doesn't count. Weird changes to the source material do.
They weirded up Dany & Drogo's beginnings too
@@IAmJustRweirded it up more you mean, considering how young Dany was in the books initially
@@Zombies_Are_Realso plenty more than a few? Lol
The first time Tyrion got framed for attempted murder, it was by LittleFinger. Also, I'm glad Sansa is out of there even if it is with sketchy ass littlepeter.
"Go get your own room" Lmao!
I was not prepared for the random Crazytown reference. Kudos.
Thanks for not giving us 40 minutes of talking before starting the reaction, you guys are awesome keep em coming !
The Crazy Town Butterfly reference was top tier thank you!
9:28 the farther he is away from Cersei the better his decision making skills are
25:08
You mentioned Monty Python earlier (or last episode?).
This right here is literally from Monty Python and the Holy Grail ...
He speaks Valyrian, but if you translate it into English, he is literally saying the same thing the Frenchmen was spouting from his wall, about "Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!" xD
The Sansa Littlefinger power couple arc starts.
Every time I see the hound I want him to just randomly say “Yarp” like his character I’m hotfuzz 😂😂
Bridgettes “No, no, NO” at the very end was fun! Thanks!
I wish you'd do more analysis at the end.
Gendry, legend has it, is still rowing :D
Jaime raping cersei next to joffrey was really out of place, especially considering where they've been going with his character
"They'll both be dead come winter" :(
Also the collars weren't from the slaves the masters killed, they're from the slaves Daenaerys freed
I assume at least some of the collars came from the dead slave children though.
@darth856 probably yes
Ser Devos said that he almost got beheaded by the 1st Sward of Bravos and Arya's dancing master called himself "The 1st Sward of Bravos"
Joff held the crown; but TYWIN was/is the TRUE king/ruler...and he doesn't even need a crown
Spitting bars at the beginning!
I don’t condone violence towards Women but Cersei was not a woman, she was a Devil…I LAUGHED when Jaime took her next to Joffrey’s dead body🤣🤣🤣
Rest in peace to Joffrey 'The Peaceful', he will be missed by the common folk of the realm.
Dude I was dancing in that intro xD Loved it! lol
That's the fool Sansa saved prior
Y’all have great chem. Likely great marriage.
Imagine talking inheritance at a loved one's corpse.
0:11 should be a gif lol
Hey guys, what’s your GOT upload schedule? I’ve already seen it but sharing with you again is so much fun!!
You want to watch the next one, big surprise. The best season of the show, baby. The sacrifices you do for reaction's sake.✊️
Gendry is still rowing for a while longer lol
RIT Joffrey! lol Shout out to Jack Gleeson aka Joffrey for doing such a good job of making us hate his character. How our little Reign of Fire and Batman Begins baby grew up to be a monster!
Season 4 I think is my favorite of the all. Enjoy what is to come.
the party continues...🥳🥳🥳🥳🤣🤣🤣🤣
if you guys are looking for a editor let me know!
Best. Intro. Ever. 🤣🤣
Es interesante que ustedes piensen que Tywin tuvo algo que ver con la muerte de Joffrey.
No es canon en los libros, sin embargo, hay teorías extendidas sobre que Tywin pudo haber sabido de esto y dejar que ocurriese.
3:00 Gendry is still rowing, he set off from an island and Davos told him to always keep the shore on his left
Remeber the "dancing teacher" lord Stark hired to teach Arya sword fighting? That was Syrio Forel, also known as the First Sword of Braavos...and Davos just told Shireen that he once almost got beheaded by a First Sword of Braavos!
They didn’t translate the champion’s insults, but it was a Dothraki translation of the French insults from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
This is the best shows...you not finish whit the big surprise and very shocking scene...a lot of things gonna happens...a lot lolol
lol. Love the intro 🎉😂
I love the energy of "rest in piss, bitch" that joffrey's death brings 😂🎉🎉🎉🎉
23:21 meat is back on the menu boys.
I love y’all’s relationship. Watching this with you guys is delightful. 🫶
The Pod and Tyrion goodbye D':
I'm sure others have probably mentioned it, but the Jaime/Cersei scene wasn't a rape scene in the book, and the clowns responsible for the scene in the show apparently didn't think it was a rape scene.
That is a wild intro 😂
I've always have wondered if Syrio was the first sword of Braavos that almost beheaded Davos.
Elia Martell was Oberyn's sister, married to Rhaegar Targaryen and killed by the Mountain. Ellaria Sand is Oberyn's lover. I think the similar given names are messing you up.
Wtf haha Tywin doesn’t give a fuck about being king, he doesn’t need the crow to be the most powerful person in Westeres and this have already been said since seasons ago. Joffrey was the king because he wanted to. Literally a few episodes before we saw Tywin sending Joffrey to bed to show the even the king have to do what he wanted to.
Tywin poisoning his grandson is the biggest nonsense theory already heard
I dunno... I've heard theories that Varys is a mermaid and that Tyrion was a time traveling fetus...
@@havok6280 It totally sounds like something this guy would come up with.
Tywin poisoning him does make sense... Joffery was out of control and everyone knew it. Now Tywin get to groom Tommen
@@ms.craftycapricorn9475
No one was out of control for Tywin, he showed it literally a few episodes ago. He said it himself. To Cersei, to Tyrion.
He ordered Joffrey to go to his chambers, in front of the council and he had to go, even against his will. My God, I know it’s a long show but people seems to have alzheimer sometimes.
They spent 4 season saying over and over again that Tywin was the most powerful man alive to people really believe that Joffrey could do something against Tywin’s will. ☠️
Tywin has been ruling the kingdom behind an insane king for half his life. He didn't need to poison Joffrey. He's also no idiot. He knows who took Joffrey out and why. He's not going to punish them because 1. They made Tywin's life/job easier by taking out his insane grandson and lifting his more controllable one to the crown AND 2. He still needs to secure The Reach ('s monies). He wasn't involved but he made no move to stop/avenge it.
Syrio Forel was a First Sword of Braavos.
First Sword of Braavos is a titile, not a person...
@@robertszilva1304 That's why I said he was _a_ First Sword of Braavos. He says this himself. A title is generally given to a person.

Poor Joffrey. =(
amazing actor that jeoffrey guy. still hoping to see him around in another role/show.
The problem for Joffrey is he made many enemies.. having to worry about people wanting to harm u in some way is not a very pleasant way to live, it might feel kewl when u are young because other fuckups look up to u
