    Wow this is so very specifically what I've been needing. I first saw the Black London on Hanging Pawns and fell in love and now I'm happy to see this update from a genuine Master.

    At 45:50 i really liked Bb4+, forcing the king to move as any block loses the d4 pawn after the black bishop takes on d2. But i guess your move ended up wining the game much faster XD

    Hmm, are you back to streaming on your Twitch channel mainly or still on Chirila's?
    As for the reverse London, a few newbie thoughts.
    Playing h6 after e6 feels prophylactic to save the bishop. But maybe it's too slow because then the dark-squared bishop might get developed later.
    Be7 feels useful when they play Bb2 because it adds a defender to the f6 knight so the queen can move around more freely.
    Be7 also feels thematic to the London system against the fianchetto where we develop Be2 instead of d3 - so that it doesn't bite on granite.
    Also, Bd6 sometimes walks into potential forks because they support the e4-e5 push with Re1, Nd2, and Qc2 or something like that. So Ne4 also becomes no longer possible.
    To add one more thing, it's annoying when developing the light-squared bishop is bad because of Qb3 and such lines - the Chameleon has the option of Ra7 as a reply. Otherwise your best bet is Qb6 and trading the queens after c5. There's also the issue of the backward c6 pawn when c5 pawn break isn't possible.
    These are all probably lenghty topics that I'm sure you'll have a chance to showcase as your opponents get stronger.

    very instructive, thanks so mutch at min 29:20 after 4...Bf5 is in it very good for white 5.cxd5 cxd5 and 6.Qb3 same thing at min 44:18 after 4...Bf5 (your pet line) white can just go 5.cxd5 cxd5 and 6.Qb3 those Qb3 lines are super winning at lichess. Please advice.

      I’m pretty well aware of those lines and they are pretty good for black if you know how to play. Problem is that most of the black players mess up super early

    In game 2 around 7:21 in the video, did you not have 11. ...Bb4 instead of 11. ... exf5?

      That looks like something I should have at least considered. Well pointed out Kyle!

    I think brilliant moves are just tactics that are slightly higher ELO than the ELO of the game.

    • @bearsaremonkeys
      @bearsaremonkeys ปีที่แล้ว

      from what i've read, they recently changed it to also include any move that sacrifices a piece and doesn't lose, which means way more moves are also included

      @@bearsaremonkeys piece sacrifices are tactics. Are you trying to say that if I'm up four minor pieces I can sac one to get a brilliancy? I doubt it.

    Isn't this what the London was originally, a Black system?
