+MarcoGamer640 Productions 2012-2015 I think 2008 was the last hurrah (when Fallout 3, my personal favorite which has yet to be dethroned, was released). But I also agree. My family had to pull me away from this game was so obsessed with it. Heck, this was more than a game, it was a piece of art!
Jack Van Kirk 2008.... World at War, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, guitar hero world tour. Omfg I miss those days. I remember getting fallout 3 for christmas. I was so obsessed with it because it felt so big and endless. But the world is much smaller than I thought back then. Still, New Vegas and 4 aren't as good as 3.
Its bullshit you cant get it on Xbox live. They need to re-release the series for the next gen of consoles along with this gen with the same graphics deal as Halo anniversary buck still keep the game play controls, levels, style the same.
Cowboycomando54 You could also just use an Xbox to play it.. Or get a PS3. But sadly, they took out the multiplayer for no apparent reason in that version.
5:45 is maybe the most epic music I have heard in any video game, and I've played a ton of games. Shadow of the Colossus is pretty epic too, close 2nd maybe.
iforgot87871 I beg to differ. This one has some great tracks but they are very repetitive with the one theme. The first two Medal of Honor games had more exciting soundtracks. Also, Sonic, Donkey Kong and Yoshi's Island all have awesome music.
This game is definitely up there (hell, all of the medal of honor games had fantastic soundtracks) along side Halo, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, and so much more!
Talon Diwisch while it might be true that moh 1999 and allied assault’s soundtracks were more energetic, I think that frontline’s fit more with its game. Like doom’s soundtrack was miles more energetic than these but it wouldn’t have fit at all.
I love this score so damn much. The rollicking, galloping melodies of "Shipyards of Lorient" mixed with the tender, somber sounds of "The Knights of Arnhem." This game would be practically nothing without this soundtrack from Giacchino. It had an immense effect on me as a kid, and still does today as an adult. I can't think of any video game score that surpasses this one...
Don't think I would have caught it either if I had not bought the soundtrack on CD and read the booklet. ;) The Nazi Anthem is also blatantly used as the title theme for Wolfenstein 3D. Maybe they were paying homage to that grandaddy of all shooters.
I kind of wish that the Sturmgeist's parts in this song were longer... it really takes the cake, it makes you feel like you are making a final stand against a god or something by how epic it sounds.
5:40 the panic sound of the violins behind the drums and the chorus gives you the ultimate feeling of a story's climax. It produces tension, motivation, and an atmosphere of the purely evil intents of the Nazis.
Allied infantry always welcomed the sight of a Sherman tank. It's combination of speed, firepower, and quick repair, made it an invaluable ground weapon. The sheer number of Sherman's in the field usually allowed Allied generals to count on armored superiority. However, not all the Sherman tank specs were ideal. It was thinly armored and caught fire easily. In addition, its cannon was not large enough to pierce more heavily armored enemy tanks, a weakness not shared by the German Tiger. Fortunately, evolving teamwork between ground spotters, artillery, and the Army Air Force, meant no Tiger was impenetrable, thus helping the Sherman's rule the day.
I started to play it when i was 4...I learned from my father too because every night we stuck behind the ps2 and finishing the frontline and rising sun....GOOD OLD TIMES...The medal of honor 2010 include it with hd graphics.
4:30 - 6:10 is my most favorite part in this song as its played in Medal of Honor Airborne when you are escaping the Der Flaktum while running past the Nazi Storm Elite soldiers, which are tough ass guys I have to admit. Ive been trying to find that piece in the Airborne piece, but I guess they didnt bring it, which is sad, cause thats the most epic piece in that whole game.
Running past the Nazi Storm elites is nearly impossible because you are outnumbered It’s 7 against one adding a couple officers. They would kill you in less than 1 second. Better to lure them over toward you and throw Gammon Grenades at them. 2 takes care of each one.
@@mrbronson5333Or you could use that trench gun to land two quick blasts right on them. I dunno if that also works on Expert though... Or I also saw that if you run at them with a stick grenade and melee them they die instantly
Haha, hell yeah. Used to get so into this game that me and my brothers created a screen divider splitting the screens down the middle to prevent "screen peeping". Good times.
This song reminds me of Manor House Rally in that its a somewhat upbeat fast-paced song. Great song! Thums up if you agree that MOHF was one of the best FPSs ever!
Don’t just stand there kill him. The two men run to the left toward the door. If you shoot them with a Bazooka. They will fly away and act like they are still running. If you shoot Sturmgeist directly at him. He doesn’t die in the first shot.
I had never beaten this game before I had beaten Airborne, (just mostly played bits and pieces of multiplayer with my brothers when I was younger) so I was all disappointed that the song wasn’t on the Airborne soundtrack because I thought it was made for that game. Turns out I was wrong after playing through the remastered version of this on PS3. Now I just bought the Frontline soundtrack and I’m happy because it’s awesome. Same thing actually happened with some other tracks as well, that I now realize we’re from the original Medal of Honor and Underground.
They reuse the tracks from this game in their newer ones. For example, this song is used at the end of the final mission of MoH Airborne as you get ready to blow up Der Flakturm
I remeber the first time I played this game, how amazing it was, how insane the final level was. Me and my older brother had some greeat times taking turns. It was the only thing we ever shared without fighting. He's shipping out in the navy in 2 months. It makes me sad knowing things will never be the same.
Used to play this on gamecube with my best friend. We would ONLY play the MP map that has this song because we loved it to damn much. He and I will still randomly start humming the tune or shout the title to each other and we are 23 now hahaha
Was Medal of Honor Allied Assault one of the first games to get the Hollywood treatment? Lots of money invested, orchestral soundtrack, professional advisers ?
Well, if you're like most people, MoH:AA is their favorite Medal of Honor game. It was developed by 2015, Inc., which eventually became Infinity Ward. Just throwin' it out there.
