Will always mention how Ellie is unmatched in any possible way, lyrics, melodies and vocal delivery. This song is extremely hard to sing and only she could do it. Would love to have a re-recording of Halcyon

I listened to her the other performing this in 2013 and just listened to this version. Her vocal is amazing, her voice control is unmatched, presence woow. So underrated though, she is an incredible singer and songwriter.

@@heekamalokilo7194 I did after this comment... It's not pop maybe but there's still WAY too much post production my liking. Acoustic is the way to go for Ellie.
@@matthewmadej Lights and Halcyon weren't acoustic either. They had heavy folktronica and electropop production. Brightest Blue has its own soundscape which I love. I appreciate that you can mostly tell which album you're listening to from the production. Ellie's done live performances of the Brightest Blue songs; maybe you'll like those more than the studio versions.
