This cadence is called "The Walking Cadence", by the Union City High School Marching Band Drumline. It is played for parades, pep rallies, field shows, Special events, etc.

That could be used as a warm-up, or could be a pre-game cadence. A pre-game cadence is what we used to march out into the football field, play the National Anthem, them of course march off then the football game starts. This was back in the early 80s mind you.

I like it except I would have bass parts have separate parts (unless it is meant for middle school)

well, it was played alot in my HS for parades (its also where it originally came from) and I played it once in 8th grade for an artshow, but getting creative with it and spicing it up a bit isn't such a bad idea
