I find it funny that the talking giraffe was mainly to attract social media attention, because if it wasn't for me seeing the giraffe in a clip I never would have checked out the show. And I'm definitely glad I did!
i can not put into word how glad i am that your channel is as dedicated as ist is to Revue Starlight. it is such a shame that a show as amazing as this has such a little recocnition. i love Love Live Sunshine! but after watching Starlight i can hardly look back. ur viedeo ar a great joy to watch. thank you for beenig one of very few anitubers to do this show justice.
Bana-nice video! It's obvious that so much love and care went into every single aspect of revue starlight, and I'm so happy to see it getting the attention it deserves!
Mayakuro On Screen = Instant Like Very cool video, I've been obsessed with this Show and its game for a while now, and as an aspiring artist, it was really interesting to have an insight into the process of designing those awesome characters.
I think it’s interesting that you frame being an anime original as a disadvantage, where as I consider it an advantage. I suppose that’s because it’s how the creators framed it, but really anime original means that the show can excel in the strengths of anime vs having to adapt material built to the strength of its original media.
My word, this was so good. I knew it was good, but I never knew so much thought was put in its characters. And there's still the music, the art, the animation, the symbolism, and so much more that I've missed. Super ambitious project they pulled off, producing one of the best anime series last year.
Currently Revue Starlight is the thing that I live for, more than just the show. The entire surroundings of it are all just so fascinating and enjoyable. Im always glad to see more in depth discussions of it and cant wait to see the stage play soon.
Not gonna lie, this video is making me want to watch the series again and I rarely ever do that unless I really liked the series! Hearing about the BTS is incredible and makes the series event better for me. One question though, did the staff go into any detail regarding if and how the stage play influenced the anime? Because if I recall correctly the first stage play was shown before the anime aired, so I'm pretty surprised to hear that the anime was being developed first.
I watched Starlight just a month ago and i felt instantly in love for it. Incredible work for just 12 episode with 9 characters (10 if you want to include Kirin). Now that i know the details of the behind the scenes, well, i must say now that i believe it's the best product Kinema citrus made. Yes, even better than Made in abyss, don't @ me. Truly a piece of art.
This was an amazing video and I loved every second of it! I don't think I realized all the steps the creators took to make this a fantastic anime! Thank you so much for uploading!
Revue Starlight really surprised me! definitely a gem, it is a dazzling show with truly lovable characters without feeling cliche' :D :D Thank you for the great video!!!!
I didn’t know I could love this anime any more!! Thank you for this!! I love it! I always loved story telling on other than words and all the ways you described the creators efforts put into it!
I watched the anime and my final thought about it was “‘meh... it was good though” but after watching your video it made me appreciate the anime more. So thanks for this video ^_^
My neck aches from all that nodding haha. In regards to the mobile game, can I express how disappointed I am with its main storyline? It was so boring compared to the anime and did not have much thought put into it. And dont get me started on the new characters from other schools! Bland stereotypes compared to the main characters, with one or two exceptions. I wish the people who worked on the anime's plot and character personality will work on the mobile game's story. But at least the side events are kinda interesting, especially the Cinderella event's discussion about various Cinderella stories created.

"Why not make Nana's hair bananas?"
To which he responded..
"Genius."
"with her star ornament modeled after... the subaru logo!"
wakarimasu.
so she's canonically gay confirmed
Yeah, I started laughing 'cause of that! Hilarious, but it looks so cool!
One of the most underrated animes ever! Im in stage girl hell now and hoping for a season 2
Yes, we NEED season two!
Well you got a movie!
I find it funny that the talking giraffe was mainly to attract social media attention, because if it wasn't for me seeing the giraffe in a clip I never would have checked out the show. And I'm definitely glad I did!
What timestamp is that?
You used Junna/ Nana version of "Fly me to the Star" in the end. Best pair, thank you ;w;

I really like it that Mahiru's love of baseball came from Iwata Haruki herself haha
The transformation scenes inspired by how its made series? Thank god this anime exist😍

Actually...I think no one can stop 'wakarimasu' after understanding Revue Starlight. Speaking as a giraffe is just cool.

This anime was brilliant, I would love to hear more about it.
Yes yes, this is truly a beautiful anime. Wakarimasu!
This anime deserves more fans, and this video more views.
The scores add a special flavor to the anime that makes it special.

Smash that like button like how Claudine would smash Maya after a heaty audition
I would like Maya to smash Claudine
Yeah, maya wouldn't walk for a week

This was amazing to watch. The little details 11/10.
I'm honestly glad I decided to give this show a try during its first airing, it became one of my favorite shows!
I really hope that if a second season ever happens the story would go more like the manga/stageplay
Whoa Fly Me To the Star #9 for ending. Great choice
Moeka the voice actress of Nana is actually tall too, which suites perfectly
Love your anime essay style along with how you edit the video to fit so well without being to on the nose
BANANICE~ thank you for posting this!
Wakarimasu.
Duels, musical numbers and a talking giraffe.
That pretty much sums it up.
I like your videos!.... Revue Starlight is great!! .... I'm trying to be one of the first comments!.... Greetings from México... Bye!
Yes, a genuine master piece.
Made by genius people.
I love Revue Starlight so much, it's soooo underrated

Another content to fuel the radiance of this show to me.
I'm so glad I got introduced to this show by you!
amazing to see this insight !
I watched the anime and my final thought about it was “‘meh... it was good though” but after watching your video it made me appreciate the anime more. So thanks for this video ^_^
If you're interested in Revue Starlight, I highly recommend its "Greatest Show" AMV. That was what convinced me to watch it.
You are blessed ! Thanks a lot UTS. :D
the anime has the great story as idol project. I always thought how they make season 2.I guess they not make the season 2
A shame I didn't catch you at Acen. I work IRT for the con every year.
I mean they make a Banana and France a character lol!
A talking giraffe that says "wakarimasu"?
Yup, I definitely understand that. Makes perfect sense. mhmmm.
Don't forget that that sweet sweet Kenny Omega adverts on the game's, lol
Bro Karen jumped on the giraffes head and he looked hurt 😭
That moment when the girl that people spent the least time on became best girl
You were at Acen?!?! Damn I would’ve loved to meet you
...I’ve seen a dozen videos about this series, but no one will just SAY what it is
I thought the creation of Karen was as simply as basic Bushiroad protagonist template, you know she Like Honoka, Kasumi, and Chika.
Hi! If you haven´t done it already, can you please review SHoujo Kakumei Utena? Thank you!
Hikari is litterally less toxic homura
Wakarimasu
Hey Jack, since you attended the live conference, can you tell us the numbers for the character height at 2:26 please? Im dying already
> anime original >no source material
The stage play came first though?
It's not like the stage play could give all the ideas, like a manga can give.
The anime isn't an adaptation of the stage play. The characters and basic ideas are the same but the story is different.
In 11:27 you said the "a-sun" badge landyard , what is an "a-sun"?
I like this video. The anime seems pretty boring (I might be wrong). But it's still interesting to see how it's made.
may I hope for season 2 that will never come?
Dont worry we get movie next year XD
这个up对少女歌剧绝对是真爱😂
i swore the stageplay was made before the anime... i might have been mistaken though
Good 👍
What's the opening song it's really good
Faaaaaaaaaaaab booooott
First
Damn it!... Second.... I guess
