On my gosh, I love this band and can't wait to see them live. I've been following them now for about 2 years or so and they are so talented. They are completely independent and refuse to sign to a record label, so everything is done in house and paid for by the fans. Whether they're doing a cover or some of their many original songs they make everyone of them their own and sometimes better than the original in my opinion. There have been at least two of their covers that I did not care for the original but I love the Liliac versions. Basically just go to their TH-cam channel and pick any song and you've got a winner. There is no one else out there that has a Melody style voice with that kind of power and range. Great reaction guys and please do more and more of LILIAC!!!

Liliac is awesome, and you won't believe how versatile they are. They started doing covers as Liliac (and doing them incredibly well, which got them noticed) when Justin (the keyboardist) was 9 or so and Ethan (the bassist) was only a year older. First videos I saw of them were Crazy Train and Enter Sandman, and my addiction has only gotten worse since. They've done covers of White Stripes, Nirvana, Queen, Janis Joplin, Joan Jett, Sabbath, Metallica, Megadeth, and on and on and their originals go from songs like Carousel to rock ballads like Sail Away to tear jerkers like Somber Cry. Keep watching and have fun!
Goosebumps? I still get them at times and I have been listening to them for several years. Melodia is a freak of nature, and that is meant in the best way. I am sure we haven't seen her full potential, and that also extends to the rest of the band. I am always excited to see what's next from them. The Madness album has some diverse but excellent cuts on it.

I've watched many reactions to Liliac and the one thing everyone keeps saying about them is they look like they're living their best lives. I think that's the real appeal to Liliac. They're amazing musicians but its their energy and presence on stage that makes them so great. They do look like they're having the best time of their lives while up there performing.
They made the video for around $6,000. The other performers are fans that volunteered and Melody and Abby did all the makeup. Melody can really hold a note for ages! If you want to start at the beginning, check out Crazy Train when they were first performing on the Santa Monica Pier, then songs from their cover albums like Enter Sandman, The Trooper, Holy Diver, Last in Line, I Hate Myself for Loving You, and Symphony of Destruction. Then their originals, Northing, Dear Father, We Are the Children, Mystery, Sail Away. Mars was filmed at a live performance in Cumming, Ga. Sam has a killer solo at the beginning. ❤️🦇
They call their style VAMP METAL to go with name Liliac ( bat) in Romanian. Their parents are from Romania and all the siblings were born in the United States. Their father was from Transylvania and live near Dracula’s castle.
This is a fantastic band and really cool they are siblings. Seen them twice live and they don’t disappoint! They have so many covers and originals you can watch and all of them are excellent. Love Liliac. Live performances are even better and since they are an independent band, they are very approachable and so gracious to their fans. You can see them helping at the merch table or meet them after the show and their father is the manager and he is constantly moving around checking everything and chatting with the fans. Definitely a rabbit hole to explore. To see how far they have come, check out their cover of "Crazy Train" from their earlier years and you can see how young they were and still able to kill it. They started with covers but now have 3 albums of originals and Carousel is off their new album "Madness". The songs "Madness" goes even harder and then "Somber Cry" is a slower song with Sam as the main singer but Melody sings in the chorus. Check those out, but I love all their songs, so I don't feel you'd be upset with any of them.
If you like the highs, give “Not Afraid” extended version a try. Keytar is what Justin is playing, throw back from the 80s. As for the long notes, they are both about 11 sec.

I can name at least 4 family bands you may not have been aware of persae: Lynard Skynard, Van Halen, Pantera, Bee Gees , Jackson 5 bit i think this is only the second 5 piece family band though that i know of but the only one with female front women as a 5 piece. The Warning is a family band and Motion Device as well oh and can't forget about "Heart".

Liliac is a great band but unfortunately Carousel isn't my favorite song off their new album Madness. It's a good song but I like Madness, Hologram, Annabella, and Hypothermia better.
