      Hi Mike, I’m glad you liked Concrete Airport, it’s super nice and the squirrelly winds coming off the mountains makes for interesting landings! Thanks for watching and welcome to Ginger’s channel, hope you get that loaded into your FSX SE and start having your own fun there!!

    I'm digging the interior camera angle - adds a little extra to the video.

      Thanks Glen, I’m a bit camera-shy myself but that view out the side window on takeoff with runway 16 underneath was what convinced me to keep those shots during the editing. Really appreciate your feedback and support!! 👍👍

    Thank you for your channel. I live at Frontier (WN53) and am really enjoying the local stuff you are presenting for the rest of the world to enjoy. Keep up the great job.

      Thanks, I really appreciate your kind words! You know how amazing it is to live in an airpark, we recently moved to Lynden Airpark (38W) and it still blows my mind that we get to see aviation on a daily (sometimes hourly) basis. Flying in the PNW is such a privilege and for someone who has always dreamt of living and flying in this part of the world I am just so grateful. I’m only scratching the surface, I know, but I hope to show so much more of our area in time. It means a lot to know the things I’m sharing resonate with pilots in this area, thanks again for your wonderful comments and welcome to Ginger’s channel 👍👍

    Love the style of your videos, incredibly relaxing. I aspire to be a private pilot like you some day, and these videos just make me even more motivated to start getting my ppl. Keep up the good work :)

      Thanks for your kind words! Flying is amazing! When I was learning I did whatever it took and then some to afford the lessons, it was worth it! Best of luck, and thanks for watching!! 🍀✈️

    Nice! Always like your calm demeanor and the background music. You are a good ambassador for PNW aviation. Nosewheel shimmy on landing; don't ask me how I know! Yoke full back immediately, check shimmy damper, maintain correct tire pressure, balance the tire. All good camera angles. The occasional relevant shot of your panel is cool also.

      Thanks for your feedback! I’m usually pretty relaxed when flying 😊 None of my landings are ever perfect and I’m ok with showing reality, this particular landing was a real stinker, too. 😉 The Cessna shimmy is one of those little details all of us deal with on occasion but Ginger is so wonderful every flight is a joy! Greatly appreciate your kind words, hope to see you at one of the fly-Ins this year. 👍

    13:40 Please don't put Ginger down on any riverbank. Your videos keep me breathing. They are so wonderful and relaxing, and the gorgeous scenery reminds me why I live in the PNW.
    Another great one! If you even have to skip a week I will understand and would hope that other viewers would understand that it's not CAVU every day (or week...or even every month) up here.

      Many thanks, Bob! No riverbanks in Ginger’s future, I can assure you of that! I appreciate your great support and viewership more than I can express - thank you, truly! I’d like to send you something, please share your address by sending it to gingertheplane@gmail.com.

      Appreciate it! I’m hoping to get to Wenatchee this summer, a friend has a place there and is looking for a flight back to KBLI. I’ll definitely give you a heads up if it happens. 👍

    Ginger: Do you have a second pitot on your RH wing? If so, care to explain?

    • @GingerThePlane
      @GingerThePlane  ปีที่แล้ว

      The two pitot tubes aren’t often noticed, good on you for spotting them! The Dynon pitot (right wing) isn’t certified as a replacement for the original pitot on a Cessna 172 (not yet, anyway) but this pitot contains the sensor for the Skyview HDX AOA functionality. I opted for a heated pitot and plan to move it over to the left when Dynon gets it approved. Thanks for watching, I really appreciate it! 👍👍
