But it's the rich white guardian reading middle class labour voters everyone was fighting and killing over too supply. I remember certain faces going up to the City of London. And those estates were grim and if you were from a poor background and could earn money quick I understand why kids did it and moved the stuff about. I remember the aerial walkways on Sumner Estate. Sinkhole Estates, mad socialist policy of sticking people in rabbit hutches. I remember Frontline. When kids die, it is sad, and innocent people die who are nothing to do with it. Will never stop, though. I was used to Peckham Road being closed off when I was young. Politicians have no clue, nor do the media as with their consumption fuelling Turf Wars. I do hope though some escape it. Life is precious. But a very informative video @SkyBoi, But if a younger family member was murdered, I understand the anger and want for revenge. My Dad was a copper in Peckham from the 60's t the 80's and the local people loved him, because he always had compassion and empathy for everyone, he really loved the people of Peckham, as did I as a kid playing football and shit, or just relaxing with the folks round there.
Once local people knew I was his kid Peckham folks were treating me like their own family, it was great.
Especially, the Jamaican and African food my best friends Mum from Uganda would make for us to eat.
I'm so sorry that so many youngsters have lost their lives because of the racist system in the UK.
🥺😢💔
Stephen Lawrence lived close to me, he was a bit younger than myself, but we all knew he was a good lad and we'd chat sometimes down the grassland where we'd have a kick about.
Please, end the violence and pain on all sides. The government are your biggest enemy for all time.
*Visit Peckham now. That zoo might change peoples' awareness. Unfortunately, there is no going back to the Real World.*
6:12 freestyle referring to this girl from what i remember;
🎵i came and sat at your spot for hours, and im thinking to myself whoever killed you is just a bunch of cowards, im just hoping that you rest in peace and when they bury you ill be the first to lay a bunch of flowers. ___________fact, that your gone away from us and your never coming back (never), and now im sitting here thinking bout lee coz everytime a friend dies it just brings it all back🎵
Cant remember the rest but rip to that girl and big up to giggsy man, real nigga, big heart
Death or jail, that's what comes with the lifestyle. Stick to music
Are Wooly O members from Woolwich or Walworth Road because you made the same mistake in a past video?

@@JAMESLOONEY-kd1nu Brixton v Peckham beef started in 2007

Self hate is an evil thing 💯
Croydon definitely up there with the amount of gangs and fatal stabbings etc happens daily across London
You forgot the house raid shooting that took place in 06 between at the time 2 younger YYPB members and both we're jailed for 9 years
Sick documentary now I know more about the UK crime
You mean black crimes in the UK
Used to travel from West London down to Rye Lane Peckham for raves at LazerDrome. Mid to late 1990s.
It was fairly dodgy coming out to the street at 7am of a Sunday morning!
There was a few stabbings in the raves and a doorman got shot one night & the rave got closed down. I was never involved in any gangs but nearly got into drama because of the area I was from even though wasn't involved.
Up until 2008 financial crash Peckham was on the up and up.... People calling it 'East Dulwich' to make it sound more yuppy.
Peckham is known as little Nigeria now
No it’s not and it never will be stop with this Nigerian narrative
Back in the 60s the Richardsons held sway in Peckham and Camberwell but the police put them away saying they were riding London of gangs 😅
Peckham used to be famous for Only Fools and Horses. Sad what has happened to London
Wicked street journalism, respek!
1st off, big Love from California 💯🤟🏾. Felt a connection to the London diaspora my whole life. Ayo im curious how ppl in those ends felt about Blue Story when it dropped? When MTV did "My Block: The Bay" in this same early 00's era, it turned shiii waaaaay up in my section because they favored the other side and gave em better representation. Kinda felt like Blue Story favored Ghetto Boys alil more than Peckham in the same way. Timmy consistently stood on business, either with the homies or to the nec. Marco was soft compared to Timmy, made Peckham look crazy to outsiders. Just curious if it was received the same way out there by folks that really lived that shii fr
Which part of Nigeria is this
Rather it look like that than Poland
The posh part
@HdHd-hp6qz that's racist, poles don't imitate American street gangs
@@JAMESLOONEY-kd1nu and what that guy said about Nigeria is racist too, and nothing to do with America, it's about Caribbean and West African gang's settling in South London, and trapped in the system😒
Edo City Benin
It's unfortunate what's happened.
Thank you for the news.
Please tell me about peacham new cross Brixton from 1990 to 2000.

it was just candle,s in the city in my day ..
Peckham forever
& a little bit of Fulham yes
Its just such a waste of life. Absolutely pointless disputes over f all... such a shame. Thats not a judgement, cos i wasnt there and dont know the ins and outs of why it happened. But just makes me sad thats all.
I remember the 80s and crack first appearing there, think first place in the Country at the time. My mother R.I.P worked at Gloucester Primary School's Play Center. Drive bys we're frequent back in the day. But then it was not kids being murdered but changed later on. I Lived on Peckham Road, nothing shocks me. But a sad loss of life. It's a bad cycle, but the youngsters need to be kept out of it. Need be some Honour on that.
Thank you for your comment, really appreciate the insight
Revolting specimens of humanity.
Is Peckham fully gentrified an safe now
It’s changed but it’s still pretty rough.
If you wanted trouble you’d get it in a heartbeat.
Peckham high street is getting gentrified. But you don’t want to be walking around at night with a Rolex on your wrist or a gold chain
It's getting there..
@@HdHd-hp6qzyou need to go to specsavers, it stinks of meat and fish that's been left out all day.every other shop is a charity shop or 3 star takeaway
