  • Shredwater Creek is a fast flow trail with tightly packed features, and is some of the best fun to be had on a bike on the NW at the moment I reckon. NOTE: Take it easy on your first lap or two, this trail has caught quite a few people out because they just sent it blind & went down hard!
Bike: Ibis Ripley LS (120/120 travel)
Cam: Hero 9 Black on a chesty

Definitely! I actively avoid Green Hornet in Jan/Feb, I swear that little bit of bush is absolutely packed with em 😅

Back from my broken wrist in a couple of weeks, Shredwater Creek on the top of my to do list. I'm not a fan of the "wriggle sticks!" :)

Ahh bummer, part of the sport I guess. It's riding so well at the moment, hope you get to check it out soon

One of the reasons i slowed down, too easy to break stuff. Its all good when you are young but wait till you get older and those injuries and arthritis comes back for you.

Are the jumps fairly casable or do they all pretty much need to be sent ?

Up to 0:36 is chill, the jumps are easy to clear, smooth, and pretty mellow. The middle double at 0:35 is harder to clear than you'd think, & then triple at 0:37 is a little awkward & very blind but fine to just slow down and double. Sending the triple blind usually results in people front wheel casing the last roller or over-compensating and flat landing. Rock lip jump at 0:53 is bigger than it looks on vid and would be a bit harsh to case, not very beginner friendly with the run in, but is easily skippable. Hip at 1:13 is pretty steep and blind, if you properly pop and don't clear it would be harsh but isn't a double so just rolling over is fine. Stepdown at 1:19 and roller double after are the hardest to clear on the trail, most people are either not trying to jump them, or casing the stepdown pretty bad (there's more and more holes developing on the landing). The stepdown doesn't have much setup & is immediately into a tightish berm that is getting a bit rough, so casing & getting bounced/unsettled could be dangerous. Stepdown at 1:28 doesn't have much of a lip & would not be fun to case. I wouldn't go for that one unless confident.
