He's wasting their time showing up to a parole request hearing that would benefit HIM while simultaneously refusing to make his own case. You can't have your cake and eat it too. If you want early parole, you have to answer questions and demonstrate that you're holding yourself accountable, you've learned your lesson, and that you won't commit the same crime. That's not begging, that's demonstrating "this won't happen again, so you can let me go". Showing up and being a stick in the mud while simultaneously minimizing the impact that your drinking and driving had on others' safety is a surefire way to irritate people. He hasn't learned his lesson and tries to excuse his drinking.

They seem upset that the man is taking accountability and saying he understands why he’s there and isn’t upset that he has to do time. They hate that they’re not getting the opportunity to break him.

Old Timer felt insulted….did 99% of his time and they want him to perform for parole with 5 months left smh
This Man’s honesty is commended, I don’t think parole should be granted due to his honesty. He is a risk because he admits that he will not change. He will continue to drink and drive.
The lady needs a job she can't get angry because someone doesn't bow to her. She has a superiority complex.
As are most women in the corrections industry. Mean, old and power hungry.
They hate when people don’t gaf about them couple months early release 😂😂
😂😂😂😂 facts they like debating
Why would he???
Bro if I got 5 months left. I’m finishing my time why would you want to be on papers 😂😂
@@jbcarshowbingo
I love this OG. He has it correct, no licking boots.
Exactly! Talking real right. No cooning or buck dancing. 😅😅😅
She’s power hungry and abusing her roll already. She got upset when she lost that power over him. We are no longer on the playground in elementary school are we? Or are we still there playing the same old games? Lady your problems are minuscule compared to his he is an older man and in prison!
Even though he's saying he doesn't care, they still have to insist, because they still want to make the decision because the decision gives them power. At the end of the day, that's all they crave.
I’d rather max out then deal with parole any day.
100%!!! Especially with only 5 months left!!!
Same! Idc I'm doing all my time not bout to deal with they ass!!
Fendi facts 💯💯
That would depend on the sentence, wouldn’t it?

That man in his 70’s, been in jail for years, and they still tryna buckbreak him.
I thought the same. When buck breaking goes wrong👀
What kind of idiot is in jail for years? Nothing to be proud of here people, stop cheering for this menace.

His DOC number says it all. I was a CO with the Louisiana Dept of Corrections for 12 years. From 1997 - 09 and I remember inmates like him with those old DOC numbers. He's been down so long that he ain't gonna beg. As a CO I had nothing but respect for inmates like him

@@anthonyrowland9072What made you stop being a criminal?
This reminded me the Shawshank redemption when Morgan Freeman came back for the second time up for parole and came at them just like this , he kept it real and they let him go ! These people move different they wanted him to beg so bad.
These questions are useless. All prisoners have to do is lie. I appreciate the way he responded.
I'd be much more inclined to put my trust in this man before I would 75% of CEO's and corporate executives across this country.
Including Preacher’s ❤❤❤
@Jazz313 ABSOLUTELY
Hell ya i would go as far to say i would give him power of attorney over my estate
@Jeff-sp7bg Well, I look at it like this, at least you know in advance where the man stands, and that's a far cry from the way these politicians flip-flop in today's world.
In our community everyone has an uncle like this
😅 aww man
I’m the 60 year old version of Unc. We stand on our word!
People like him are becoming a rare breed , we seem to have lost the idea of principles
Lucky you are. I like people like him, they are real.
In prison u mean? Too bad
They’re disrespectful af and clowns. To reiterate what he did, talking to him like a child while he’s serving time for what they’re trying so hard to reprimand him about is classless
Keep sucking the long wick of the law tama they might tell you you’re a good boy if you stay dedicated
@@Tamarocker88that’s just being a itch with a capital B.
He was up for parole that’s not something you request. But sometime they do every so long an after a point in your sentence.
He’s went through sentencing an basically done his time.
He’s an adult he knows it’s wrong otherwise be it even if he didn’t know it was wrong.
After the court process an time in. Even an idiot could realize it.
He didn’t deny anything done.
An most of the time them hearings. They know they’re going to deny the person atleast the first time infront the board. An some a number of times after that.
So theirs no reason to go in their an be an itch with that capital B. An go kissing ass playing games.
They get word on how the person is doing. An what they did with their time while their in there. An all their disciplinary reports if any. Before they even walk in the room.
So he’s right. Though. If ya gonna give it. Than give it. All the talking is nonsense an just not needed.
An all it does also is if you get out. Than your out with a bunch of bullshit stipulations under the governments thumb. More than the normal.
Do for him to finish 5 months an get out. A not have all them stipulations etc. is just better all the way around.
An asking about the drinking they did. He may truly if not had a drinking issue. An for sure clearly from being in their haven’t drank in years.
They wanted to hear about how he was going to get counseling, etc., for drinking. Even though he truly may of not even had an alcohol problem.
Regardless of few times he did drink. He decided to drive the car a that’s when he was stopped.
They don’t know the guys history to act as if he had an issue. They don’t know him like that.
The shits a joke. An he wasn’t playing it a wasn’t going to bow down like an itch a play the dumb ass games.
All they gotta do is call a person in ask how they’re doing. Look at their record on the inside. Ask what they been doing just as in talk. An be like ok well we decided to let you out.
Or if they were making trouble on the inside. Call them in an be direct we’re just bringing you in. To let you know based off your record in here. Your denied a theirs nothing to discuss.
If it was straight forward. An it truly went based off of what someone in their does a don’t do. People would respect the board more an it actually make a difference within the system.
Of people deciding to be good in their with their time. Because they know they’re likely to get parole.
But most know they can jump all the hoops do school etc no trouble etc. go in lick their boots a kiss their asses with their questions only to be denied anyway.
It’s a joke.
When Santa didn’t give this OG gifts he didn’t even blink
That woman was a Karen on parade.
He ain’t kissing nobody’s 🤬 for five months time straight up gangster
They seem upset that the man is taking accountability and saying he understands why he’s there and isn’t upset that he has to do time. They hate that they’re not getting the opportunity to break him.
More like they're upset that he's wasting his time. The hearing exists for the inmate to request parole and that includes making a case for yourself. He shows up and refuses to make his own case. OK? So then why show up? Nevermind the elephant in the room that is his complete avoidance of driving while intoxicated. He claims he didn't harm anyone but himself, conveniently ignoring that he put other motorists in danger.
@@Tamarocker88ahhh he didnt ask for the hearing, keep up dipshit
He has a great outlook, though- no groveling, now bowing, and scraping, and doing the soft shoe for the massa. Bravo.
