To solve the issue of the “lost water bottle cap” I suggest you use a Gatorade bottle with a sports cap. When used you just twist the top to open position. The cap does not come off the bottle but fluid is allowed to flow. Problem solved. Also if you chose to you can freeze the fluid so there is less chance of “hot” drink, pressure changes within the bottle, blow ups within your helmet bag, and similarly related issues. These bottles hold 750 ml and the mouth is large enough to facilitate filling with ice allowing “ meltdown” during the mission. I fill with water and add a electrolyte supplement or “flavor enhancer” for some variety. Also I put cable ties around the neck and attached a “snap bolt/clip” to secure it & prevent the bottle from places I don’t want it to go. I fly with CAP and find this has served me well on air or ground missions. I think this could be useful in your environment. I have photos of my setup but don’t know how to attach to this message. If you provide a portal to send to you I’d be happy to send for your evaluation. Fly,Fight,Win. POPS.

Hmmm, in a car, on a bicycle etc we use "sports" bottles of water - the cap always stays on, so you can drink while focusing on the road and always keeping one hand on controls. Also good for picking, giving to kids etc. Various brands use variations of such caps, some even have sort of a valve in them to prevent spilling, but they can be annoying sometimes, so one needs to find what's the best for you specifically. I'm sure there are similar designs in US too.
Gotta get yourself a pop top for that water bottle. You cab get a reusable one online and wash it as you switch bottles. A lot of backpackers are using those bottles for their light weight and stick on a reusable top for ease. Thanks for the fun insight!

yes, i'm thinking the same, it prevents big spill too in case of sudden turbulence.. but the downside is, the water flow is a bit low, so you need more time to drink, but no time wasted to screw unscrew the caps.. so i think it's better..

On the farm, the room in some farm equipment cabs isn't that spacious and hard to find that dropped cap so I found a drink bottle that had a pull up to open lid and it has worked great for years. Wash, rinse, repeat. When I sorted mail at the post office by hand years ago at 2 am, Butterfingers were great for energy, but would not be good in your cockpit (Crumbs). New butterfingers suck. enjoyed your video
Thanks for the 1st hand insight, about the water bottle and cap, take a piece of string/twine n make it long enough that it won't tangle up, a dab of silicone on cap top, tie a not around bottle neck, problem solved, the perfect match for a $1.50 bottle of h2o and $30 mill. war plane. 👊

Hi Hazard. The PB and honey sounds like a good combo. Have you considered/tried to find an alternative bottle top with a cap that you can open/close without needing to unscrew the whole thing. You know the ones that work like a cycling bottle does? Just find one from another water bottle that fits well on the 1 litre bottle you use. Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Hey Hasard! I have a question regarding the HOTAS in the aircraft. I fly DCS so I know a little bit about the F-16 HOTAS. I really like how streamlined everything is in the cockpit. I've noticed the F-35 has a much more complex HOTAS. How does it differ from the F-16's and do you prefer it? I'm sure you get used to it after flying for any amount of time, but I really like the F-16's design a lot.

You can tie a small string around the cap and bottle or maybe use glue so the cap doesn’t get lost
I would freaking love your flight patch!
Awesome videos man! Very informative, as well as fun to watch!
(Plus, I can exploit the info to show off to my family and friends 😁)
You can use the water bottles with the squirt nozzle lid so you won’t have to unscrew the water
Thanks for the 1st hand insight, about the water bottle and cap, take a piece of string/twine n make it long enough that it won't tangle up, a dab of silicone on cap top, tie a not around bottle neck, problem solved, the perfect match for a $1.50 bottle of h2o and $30 mill. war plane. 👊
Totally enjoy your channel. Very educational. You may have answered this question on another video but does it get hot in the cabin with all your gear?
Get some dried dates. Super light and carb loaded with a stunning 65 Kcal each to avoid the bloating effect of protein shakes. I take many when we do underground deep drilling with little time for breaks..)))
I always have wondered how pilots eat and drink. Thanks for the cool info!!!!!

Thanks so much for sharing sir! Been curious all my life about that. Stay healthy and stay safe! Thanks for keeping us safe too....the free and democratic world.
Interesting and thanks for sharing.
Wow I would love a patch !!!! Btw ever thought of a squirt bottle so you don’t have to take the cap off ?
I would ike a patch. I grow up in fairborn ohio by Wright patterson Airforce base. My dad would take me and my sister to the airforce museum a lot. My bucket list would be to be in a jet to feel the G forces. I love fighter plane. Thanks for your service.
Hasard Sir F16 vs F35 bvr combat analysis.. it will be great as u have flown both the machines
I always wondered. Thx!
Can you show us your survival vest and what's in it?
I subscribed and turned on notifications! I would love the squadron patch i want to be you when I’m older.
Can you do a video over an A-10 or any air to ground aircraft?
I can never get over just how high up you sit in the f-16
Theaw guys are amazing and all chicks shoyod kick it up for them. No questions asked.
Really interesting, thank you
If you lose the bottle cap, just go inverted and rock the wings until it falls onto the canopy..
Kudos to them not experiencing any nausea or motion sickness while eating those stuffs.
Nobody:
Military: you wanna buy some patches!?
