Q: Does this work with the WiiU?
A: Yes. Also keep in mind if its not working on neither switch or WiiU check your attack/jump layout and see if its been reversed.

Q: Is there an advantage to spinning without a bow in your hand? You can just tap B once to remove it while spinning..
A: Slightly, you can B cancel a couple frames faster if threatened, and dont have to press B twice to B cancel out of the spin would be the biggest advantage. Personally, having a bright arrowhead to see where you are positioned in the spin helps, as well as jump cancelling faster into a bow shot since its already equipped. Otherwise, there is no difference.
Q: My double hits are inconsistent! Is there a way to make it 100%?
A: No unfortunately, but a big part of double hits is consistent hitboxes, and consistent hitboxes is if they're stunned/getting stunned. Double hitting a moblin with a sledgehammer compared to a Thunderdome Chain with a Great Thunderblade is an easy example, the way the moblins hitbox is positioned while it is getting electrocuted makes it much easier to double hit compared to while normally being spin attacked. This is pretty much the same rule with hinox eye shot stuns, lynel headshot stuns, etc.
Q: What's the point of Bow Spinning if it still uses the same durability on the heavy weapon compared to just normally spinning with more reach?
A: With elemental chaining its actually more cost effective with durability Bow Spinning because the constant elemental effect damage is extra damage that will kill the enemy faster, which means less hits required to kill the enemy, which means durability saved. Even better in groups because an AOE shockwave doesn't do just 40 damage to one enemy, its now 80 damage to two, 120 to three, 160 to four, etc., all for the use of ONE durability hit every time. Ice chaining is x1 and x3 damage alternating (x2 consistent damage average output), which creates more damage to kill them in a lot less hits. "A penny saved is a penny earned". For non electric stunnable/unfreezable targets like Lynels its not quite as effective because the double hit does the same damage, just faster, and same amount of durability is used, but the double hit property is the biggest selling point, as a faster killed enemy means less time the enemy is alive, and less chances of getting hit and using more resources. "A good offense is a good defense".
Q: I didn't really get what the cue is for when to press ZR and B during the spin.. Could you elaborate on that?
A: There's no "perfect" time to turn the spin into a bow spin, you can turn it into a bow spin at any time while normally spinning. But the absolute earliest is right when the handle is above his head (Technically you can do it even slightly earlier). With elemental chaining, to get the infinite effect you HAVE to initiate bow spin BEFORE you run out of charge, or else your sword is completely out of power and cannot freeze/thunderdome chain.

I agree, it feels like I'll never learn every trick the game has to offer, even after 300 hours of playing.
This is why I want Nintendo to release games on the PC. If they make games this good under the limits of the Switch and WiiU, imagine the new heights they'll reach with a much higher hardware ceiling.

Me either! I've put in 400 hours over two playthroughs and never realized blu chu chus essentially spray water. I've always assumed it was useless until it was turned into another element. Now I don't have to rely on metal chests or boxes to create lightning domes! 3rd playthrough here we go.

Or even at first I thought it was the arrow tip that was doing the damage, like you could spin with your bow and not lose durability because arrows don't have durability stats, and you could get whatever elemental effect from the arrow type. Oh well.

If you have the DLC, you can also use the Royal Guard Uniform, which (with all three pieces of armor equipped) gives you a reduced stamina usage for spinning, jumping when climbing, and dashing while swimming. It doesn’t have great defense, but it does a LOT on your stamina use.

sophie but it's still a part of the game though. I don't think we should credit the devs for this, but when you're fighting in this game Bow Spinning is still an option. Maybe it's not an apt comparison, but Smash Bros melee Is one of the deepest fighting games ever. Most of what people do to make that game competitive wasn't intended by the devs, but that doesn't take away from it's depth.

What's the difference between elemental charge and elemental effect damage?
Elemental charge damage is a one time flat damage that will hit them if the blade touches the enemy while it has charge, its not readily visible to see the damage, you can only tell by seeing their health. Elemental effect damage is much more visible, its the AOE electric shock with lightning weapons, and the freeze effect with ice weapons.
Electric elemental charge does 20 damage once per spin. Ice elemental charge does 10 damage once per spin.

Gotta admit that mass mob(with high lvl) fights r harder than gold lynels. Though, when you’ve mastered bomb-parry and parry-cancels it shouldn't be that hard.
Well this thunderdome chain is a good answer to a mob like that, go out there and give em hell! You'll be ok :D
or you could just get a ton of hearty durian and face tank anything

Do the weapons break slower with this method or does the usage stay the same?
Usage is exactly the same. Keep in mind double hitting counts as one durability per hit, so its hitting twice as fast, twice as much damage, durability goes twice as fast.
