  • Thank you everyone for another year. I truly appreciate everyone... every customer and repeat customer, every person who just checks out HMO, everyone who refers and recommends. Whether you actively tell others about Hemlock Mountain or you show off your gear in photos, all the support is more appreciated than you will ever know. I wish you all a fantastic holiday season and a happy and healthy new year.

Thank you. I also believe I've got a really good foundation for growth. Now I just have to convince some people with money 😂

Kurt, you make a great product and I’ve seen over the past couple years you are continually innovating and updating and making things constantly better. I have a several of your hammocks and absolutely love them. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Ps any thought of branching into lighter fabrics for the weight weeny losers such as myself? 😅

Thank you Dan! One of my favorite things about being a small business is I can make the changes and improvements when I want without the hoops to jump through. Originally the Coyote was meant to be the "big" hammock that also had an XL, heavier limit model and the RedTail was meant to be the "small" hammock that also had a UL model called RedTail M. I was using, at the time, 1.0oz fabrics like monolite. They didn't get a lot of traction, probably because I was still pretty new and I pulled them when monolite started failing. I have since made a prototype 11' RedTail with Cloud 71 (I used it on my last Bllack Forest Trail Trip) that weighs 11.7oz with the bug net and full function MultiMode zipper... and that's with the heavier .9oz bug mesh (I could go lighter on that .67oz). So, stuff like that is always on my mind. I'm always open to suggestions and new ways to promote and grow. Shoot me a message if you've got something in mind.
