    Nice. The only thing I'd add is a forced patina.

      Not a waste at all, I learned some valuable skills by doing mods like these.

    ANND as you can see not that great. Probably ruined the temper.

      You can see me cooling the steel in a bucket of water and feeling it with my hands to prevent overheating as to not ruin the temper.

      @@JeremyAdley I did not see. I'll look again. Regardless that paper test did not return great results. 1095 can get a lot shaper than that. Try some multiple grit stones.

      @@shouse94 I agree. This was mostly an exercise on learning to grind. A strop sure did help this knife.

    nice job on that knife. I really like the job you did on the blade. not just cutting it but the contor and finish.
