Marvel Super Heroes (マーヴル・スーパーヒーローズ) is a fighting video game developed by Capcom. Originally released in the arcade in 1995 on the CPS-2 arcade system, it was ported to the Sega Saturn and PlayStation in late 1997. The game, alongside Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, was also included in the Marvel vs. Capcom Origins collection, released digitally for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September 2012.
Marvel Super Heroes is loosely based on "The Infinity Gauntlet" storyline of the Marvel Universe. It is the second Capcom fighting game based on characters from the Marvel Comics line, following X-Men: Children of the Atom, and was later succeeded by the Marvel vs. Capcom series.
It’s incredible how amazing this game looks 29 years later. Capcom’s art department was maybe the best in the 90’s arcade industry.
To me, this is the best animated CPS2 board game.
If the board didn't have memory limitations some of the later VS would've been as greatly animated as this one.

Lol it can't hold a candle to Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. That always will be Capcoms best fighting game. Marvel super heroes and MVC 2 are good they just aren't on par with UMVC 3

love the extra moves juggernaut and hulk have that give them stage interaction!! i never knew the motions to pick up and walk with objects but did it by accident from time to time when using them to fight always wanted to see all the possibilities with those moves on each stage
👇👇+3 all 3 punch buttons when on top of interactable objects. They vary by stage and are in the foreground. Some stages don't have them. Juggernaut is my favorite character in the game. I also love to play Shuma Gorath 👍👍

Also...if you're cornered, always combo into the Gamma Tornado throw. High Damage, plus you throw them into the corner and you can combo after it.

Imo, the CPS2 system had some of the best FTGs ever to offer.
I'd love to see a remaster+ with more Marvel characters from other Capcom CPS2 fighters. Venom, Gambit, Omega Red, Sabertooth, Rogue, Cyclops..... there's SO many they could add!

If capcom make a remake i suggested the next idea: make a mode when the villains are still in certain stage for level of power, to make sense to the universe of marvel (example: back dr doom ist juggernaut and next to doom its magneto) and better and more agressive ia to make a good trial to the gamer.
