There won’t be another 3,000 hitter until the likes of Julio Rodriguez or Bobby Witt Jr and that’s due to the pandemic and load management. Missing 10-15 games a year may not be much but add that up and it’s about a season in a 15 year career. About 150-180 hits.

In the 7th or 8th inning he didn't get a hit so myself, my friends Ron and Bob, all ran down to the ticket windows. They opened more windows in case he didn't get the 3,000th hit that night. We really splurged that night. We got the 2nd highest priced tickets you could get. Regular Mezzanine. Not the Deluxe Mezzanine, the Regular Mezzanine. We were on the 3rd base side. There were 2 rows in the Mezzanine, we were in the 1st row. You had a free moving chair and a table that extended across the section. So you could place your food, 📰program📰,🥤soda🥤 ,🍺beer🍺, 🌭hot🌭dogs🌭, 🍔hamburgers🍔,🍟fries🍟,🌮tacos🌮, and🍦ice🍧cream!🍨 It was the first time I had EVER sat there. They were, back then, expensive seats. $60.00-$75.00, I don't remember the exact price. But it was EPIC! AND when Robin slapped his 3,000th hit, that 🏟Stadium🏟WENT NUTS!!!!! I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT!
