This isn’t on Rattler.. making the kid pass 40 times is insane.. plus the Bucs put up 51 points which means the Saints defense completely collapsed.. putting the offense in a terrible position.. this is clearly a coaching issue.. Saints aren’t a bad team and have a good defense.. defense should’ve held on, and the offense should’ve focused on running the ball and the easy short passing + screen game then taking shots here and there off play action when the run game is established.. making a rookie QB who wasn’t even 2nd string and pass 40 times while the defense gives up 51 is a recipe for disaster.. terrible coaching.. the ppl who think this is Rattler’s fault prob never played ball in their life.. it’s the same low Iq ppl who think everything was Carr’s fault even tho Carr is a legit and solid QB..

The officiating was bad both ways. Sheppard getting flagged for talking. Mike Evans getting his arm held before the ball arrived twice, no call. Punter getting ran into while he’s in the air, no call. Zion ruled down on the int is crazy. That officials crew must get investigated

The Saints are in trouble because of injuries. I said this at the beginning of the season. Their offense is built on a diverse range of talent to be able to run a wide variety of plays. They lose Hill and 3rd down is now a struggle. They lose Shaheed, the deep threat is gone. Kamara gets injured, no run game. Carr injured, can’t run Kubiak’s offense. The online is decimated, offense goes nowhere. If anyone is to blame it’s the coaches who can’t game plan with the players they have or the team depth which isn’t great. Saints fans may be more delusional than Raider fans.
I've been saying all the Carr hate is a load of shit for a while now. These are the same people that wanted Mr. Interception(Winston) to be the starter when he was with the Saints. Last year, Carr was a top 10 QB at best and a top 15 at worst. Why they want to find replacement that will only be a small improvement at best as compared to a large improvement somewhere else, I have no idea. Acting like it's easy to find a Drew Brees level QB replacement, too many people have forgotten or don't know what it was like to be a Saints fan before Brees/Payton.

I am a diehard Saints fan and have been since I was four years old. I am 58 now I love the signing of Derek Carr. I still love Derek Carr and wish he would come back soon healthy last year in the games that he struggled was when he was still healing. There were people calling him out when later it was found out that most of the young players were not even opening their playbook. Car is not the problem. I said this last year defense was the one that appeared to be a great defense, but would allow teams to come back and put up the final score in close games. If we fix our defense, the offense will be fine once we get some players back that are hurt
Carr is trash. Hopefully he’ll be gone soon along with Dennis Allen. The rookie looked way better than the 11 year veteran

Dc almost certainly would have done better as he has gone against way tougher defenses and shown it. Rattler does have some moves, but wasnt on target like dc. Tough first game for rattler but hes got potential.
Pause... The only reason why K.Cousins went for over 500 yards against us, was all our injuries on defense at that time... And we do not have a easy defense to play against, because some of our starters were back for today's game and you see the difference... Everyone is focusing on why the Stainks lost today... As a Bucs fan, I absolutely agree. This is the same team that beat those Eagles and Lions everyone loves to talk about. I was totally surprised to see Winfield Jr playing today. If the Bucs didn't shoot themselves in the foot in the 2nd quarter with the penalties (which affected the field position to even return that punt for a touchdown) and turnovers, the game would have been a bigger blowout than what it was.

You forgot a fumble returned for a TD for the other team, you forgot it wasn't the Bucs passing game that beat the Saints. You forget Sean Tucker averaged 1.8 yards a carry rushed for 9.7 yds a carry, thats 136 yds almost 10yds every time he touched the ball. The other RB Bucky Irving averaged 5.8 yards a carry for 81 yards. With all the hype about the Saints DBs they play zone between the 20's and man in the red-zone studying film vs KC the middle was wide open AGAIN. In other words like YOU said the punt return don't count but the Bucs put up 594yds of offense while the Saints offense put up 303. 245 was passing by Rattler one of those INTs happened when Rattler found himself in a hole unlike when DC who just over look open players and throw into double coverage on a 1st down.

Spot on, Wifi, as usual. In terms of Carr, Haters are going to be Haters. The opposite of Love is not Hate, but Indifference. Love him or hate him, you just can't be indifferent about the talented Carr. As for Rattler, I wish the young man well, but I am actually surprised that he found a place in the NFL at all after watching him through his various incarnations at the College Football level. It seemed to me that his reported confidence was really more about being arrogant, and that his emotional immaturity canceled out his obvious physical talent. I never saw this kid show any consistency on the College Level, so I just don't understand how people think that this is going to suddenly begin happening on the NFL level for him. Crazier things have happened in the NFL, so I wish him and the Saints well. However, I think their best chance this season is to get Carr healthy and back behind center again.

Saints fans and media deserve all of this, every loss, every injury, all of it. It is utterly sickening to see these slimeballs crucify Derek Carr all damn year for every single problem they have. (Including their wet paper bag defense giving up leads in two game in the final minute) The WRs have no rout running ability despite raw talent, the TEs are subpar, the RBs are up and down, and the only guys on the O-line doing their job ae the tackles, the guards and center fold like a lawn chair every other play. (Which plays into the RBs being streaky)

If there’s any positives to take away from this game for the saints, it’s the second quarter performance of rattler. He gave the team and the fans a glimpse of what he could do if and when he takes over the team under center. They just need to fire DA, and get a coach that can help develop him further. I honestly believe that NO found their QB for the future.
