Hey Mike 👋 I've been watching your videos for a couple years now, and this is my first comment! As a franchise and almost lifelong Jags fan, it's not about salvaging the season anymore as we are now 1-4. It's about salvaging Trevor's mental state and ability to mentally play QB. Ultimately coaching changes wouldn't change much unless we change GM. You can have the best chef in the world, but even he can't make gourmet food out of rotten ingredients. Aside from Brian Thomas ( still waiting to see Tank hang on to the ball consistently and Walker to show if last season was a fluke or can he build on that before I'll say they were great picks) we haven't drafted well or even to our needs the last few years. With all that being said, from this particular Jags fan's perspective, we need to move on from our coordinators at a minimum if not also the head coach as well as move on from Baalke.

Trent Balke is the biggest problem. Not sure why Doug brought him with him to Jax. I like Doug. Seems like might be the one leaving. I hope not. Seems to me it goes back to the draft and when we were looking for new players. The first thing Jax should have been looking for were offensive linemen. Big guys to protect Trevor!
Trevor is great. His backfield is good. His receivers are mid. But his defense, o line, GM, and coaching staff suck. How long does Trevor have on his contract? (Just resigned, crap)😂. Trevor better pray that the owner cleans house starting with the GM.
That's my take too. He is more in the class of a Mayfield where you pay him around $35-40M a year and build a solid rooster around him, but paying him like you would Mahomes, Borrow and Allen is just depriving him of the weapons he needs to succeed.
@TannerGahan lopsided losing record and stats...average at best. Maybe 12th-15th best in the league...maybe. What has he done lately, keeping his record and stats in mind, he hasn't earned an elite contract. Definitely a hater, but really just being truthful.
Trevor is basically top 10 in everything despite having the most points lost on drops by an unfathomable amount 3 years in a row(for reference he threw 5 TDs vs CHI but only 2 were caught). Along with the worst D 2 years in a row, its just the Jags doing what they usually do, Jags are gonna Jag and it will be an absolute miracle if Trevor can overcome that. (And for couple of bad deep throws everyone points at, he grades out as the best deep ball thrower 2 years in a row)
He isint developing. He is in year 4 now. He hasn't look any better than his 2nd year when he lead the jags to a playoff win. Since then he's just regressed
He certainly wouldn't be the only owner to have no clue how to run a football team, but he has to build a solid team and then get out of their way; a lot of those owners just don't get that.
We paid him what he would be worth in 2 years. Dont hate him because thats the way the league is trending. I dont think anyone should be making a quarter of a billion to play a game but thats the reality of the situation.
@Bonedupshorts Again nobody is worth a quater of a billion, especially when it comes to sports. But know in two years (when his contract starts because he must complete his rookie contract first) he will be "worth" that based on the qbs who have been paid and the qbs the will be paid in the next two years. So if the market holds, he will be paid what he's worth. So blame the market for these wild contracts
@@BlackHawkDownSD the market is set by the teams, at some point a team has to tell some of these qbs no and move on, they eventually have to say no bcbof the cap limits, one player shouldn't take up 30 percent of it imo
When everything thing goes good meaning the defense , the play calling, then Trevor is ok at his best. When the defense sucks ,and the play calling sucks then trevor simply isn't good enough to overcome that.
Sounds like the jags need a new DC more than a new OC. You said they were 21st in scoring and yea that not great but it’s closer to the middle than 31st which is what the defense is.
The Jags are legendary meme status at this point. Which is a shame since they can be a top offense and defense in the league if they try and not give into stupidity.
I am from Louisiana and love the LSU Tigers. I can tell you that Trent Balke does suck but his 2nd round pick this year LSU DT Maason Smith a lot of people were saying that was a reach. I do not think so. That kid is special. He has the potential to be a Chris Jones type of player. I know him from LSU. I watched every play he made I. College. I think he should have come back for 1 more year because this year he would have been a 1st round pick. There just are not a lot of 6’5’’ 310 lb nose tackles with 35 inch arms around.
Hard to watch the 1st Half and collect only 3 points. The Defense just ran out of gas half way thru the 3rd Qtr and was over at that point. The confidence level is at a criticle state right now. The objective short term is to come home with a win on Sunday. Getting a 2 or 3 game winning streak now would be simply huge.
Pederson has clearly lost the room. I don't know what the interim plan is since there's no coach on this staff that can help. I hope the owner has been shopping for new options.
The last transcendent QB to enter the NFL was in 2020 when Joe Burrow was drafted. In college Burrow was better than Lawrence and Caleb Williams and Jaden Daniels and Andrew Luck. He was having a phenomenal rookie year on the way to winning rookie of the year all while playing behind the 31st ranked offensive line when his knee was shredded. Burrow has done more with less. Burrow wasn’t drafted by a winning team with a Hall of fame coach a hall of fame TE and a hall of fame WR already in the building like Mahomes was. Burrow did not land in a situation like Caleb Williams finds himself in with elite talent all around him. Burrow didn’t have a DJ Moore or a Rome Odunze or a Cole Kmet and he didn’t have a good offensive line or a good defense for that matter. He didn’t have a Super Bowl winning coach like Lawrence. Although in all fairness Lawrence landed in a situation almost as bad as Burrow did. Burrow had Tyler Boyd a rookie Tee Higgins, Joe Mixon who was hurt most of 2020 and AJ Greene who was also hurt most of 2020 and was well past his prime anyway. Burrow currently is second in TD passes, even though he didn’t even throw any in the last game, 5th in yards, number 1 in passer rating and number 1 in QBR. He should have been 2nd team all pro in 2022 not Jalen Hurts. He should have made the Pro Bowl in 2021. How the fuck do you throw for 4700 yards and 34 tds and not make the fucking Pro Bowl? He made the Pro Bowl in 2022 he had 40 fucking tds that year. Trevor Lawrence made the Pro Bowl one year and he has never thrown 30 tds. Mac Jones made it one year and he never threw 30 tds. Joe Burrow is the second d best QB in the league not Josh Allen not Lamar Jackson. It’s Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, those are the top 3 guys.
Jags fan here- Pederson obviously needs to be fired- should have been fired after he refused to fire press Taylor in the offseason- now the team has completely given up on him and needs to be fired immediately but he won’t be and that speaks to the dysfunctional ownership under the Kahn family.. need to be able to learn from mistakes and not double down on them
I'm still waiting to see his true potential. Unlike a lot of people I thought his first couple games were ok for someone in his position and figured he would find his way in a few more games. He is showing glimpses of solid talent, but his wins haven't been against particularly good teams. He will have some real tests in the next few weeks. so then we will have a better idea soon. Ultimately, it takes 2-3 years for most QBs to really show their full strength so if he's a top 15 QB after his first year that's well ahead of the curve and a good sign for the future.
No it's not turning around this season best option is clean sweep new coach and GM, Ben Johnson feels like the best candidate to get the most out of Trevor
Everyone seems to be keeping their cool about being a shit team. It's like no one's pissed off. WTF. Why are only the fans showing any emotion toward this BS
I honestly don’t think it’s salvageable this year. I’ve been in Jacksonville my whole life it’s a lot like being a browns fan. You just kind of get used to the disappointment. The potential is there it just lacks direction especially in regard to coaching decisions. The Chicago game shows that entirely. I like Trevor Lawrence. Get him one solid receiver, turn Tank Bigsby loose. I don’t know why they don’t utilize him as a pass catcher but they’ll let him run back kick offs. Invest in some quality D backs and free safeties. There’s a lot that needs to be done but that’s basically how we’ve always been. It’s sad.

T Law is fine. He's still developing. Some of the grests went through this early on
Edit: here after his thrashing of the Pats 😂
Completely agree ..a number of teams ..including Las Vegas would love to have this guy behind center ..also the Titans ..
He isint developing. He is in year 4 now. He hasn't look any better than his 2nd year when he lead the jags to a playoff win. Since then he's just regressed
@@alejandropelayo9288 ..as his O-line has regressed ..same with Justin Herbert ..these guys are only as good as their offensive lines ..
@@alejandropelayo9288 did you not see all those drops by his receivers last game
@@alejandropelayo9288 regressed huh 😂 did you see today's game?
Those CHGO guys are really entertaining!!
Jags suck due to the ownership. Khan is running this team just like his wrestling. He is a nerd who got his daddy to buy him some toys.
He certainly wouldn't be the only owner to have no clue how to run a football team, but he has to build a solid team and then get out of their way; a lot of those owners just don't get that.
That would be khan's son running the wrestling just under daddy's money
I do give him credit for trying even though he failed. Some owners don't even try.
I’m blaming WAC JONES😂😂
The blame starts with the owners and trickles down
I'm sorry for what happened on Sunday. It was tough to watch the Cowboys. Unreal
As a Jags fan, we havent been good since David Garrard.
Yall were decent when yall made the divisional round a couple years ago 🤷
Ima Titans fan and hate to say that.. but I think us beating yall in week 18 set yall down this course haha😂
Can we just say. Trevor is not that good. Did not deserve that contract.
2/3 of his seasons are better than any season of any of the QBs my team has had
We paid him what he would be worth in 2 years. Dont hate him because thats the way the league is trending. I dont think anyone should be making a quarter of a billion to play a game but thats the reality of the situation.
@@BlackHawkDownSD he didnt hate, he just said he isnt that good and the market being the market dosent make a contract a deserved contract
Bring back Urban Meyer 😂
Why no props to Bears defense making Jags look inept?
Hey, maybe my Patriots have a chance this week! Go Pats! Drake Maye 🎉
Thats what happens when you mess with the terrible towels , keep disrespecting it 😂
Cisco said exactly what I was saying about the team during the game. They quit the game.😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡
T Lawrence's passing is fine the players receiving the passes suck
not dougie ps fault
Sounds like the jags need a new DC more than a new OC. You said they were 21st in scoring and yea that not great but it’s closer to the middle than 31st which is what the defense is.
The Jags are legendary meme status at this point.
Which is a shame since they can be a top offense and defense in the league if they try and not give into stupidity.
Zay Jones needs to work back to that pass and probably draws a P.I.. If the ball is thrown out in front of him the safety probably picks it.
Tank & Brian are good drafts
I am from Louisiana and love the LSU Tigers. I can tell you that Trent Balke does suck but his 2nd round pick this year LSU DT Maason Smith a lot of people were saying that was a reach. I do not think so. That kid is special. He has the potential to be a Chris Jones type of player. I know him from LSU. I watched every play he made I. College. I think he should have come back for 1 more year because this year he would have been a 1st round pick. There just are not a lot of 6’5’’ 310 lb nose tackles with 35 inch arms around.
Definitely Trent Baalke's fault
They don’t have an offensive line or defensive line … every team needs a decent line to be a decent team .. anyone with a good football IQ knows this
Titans got a great D line and are 1-4
@@chrisbeach423you're not getting anywhere with that QB and secondary.
They really have cap limits now so they need to draft well, but apparently that isn't in their GM's wheelhouse so that's not a good situation...
You obviously dont have a great football iq if you think their d line is bad
lol, Jags riding in the same boat as FSU. Something in the water in north Florida, and it ain’t good!
With Trevor it’s about the hair.
SAVE DOUG
Pederson has clearly lost the room. I don't know what the interim plan is since there's no coach on this staff that can help. I hope the owner has been shopping for new options.
It's because of the O-line ,DT, LB, CB, S. General manager needs to be replaced coaching also.
After seeing the cowboys get annihilated.... maybe you should focus on the cowboys.
No argument! Burrow is the QB that people seem to think Lawrence is, but Trevor isn't nearly as good as Joe. He's solid, but not outstanding.
Jags fan here- Pederson obviously needs to be fired- should have been fired after he refused to fire press Taylor in the offseason- now the team has completely given up on him and needs to be fired immediately but he won’t be and that speaks to the dysfunctional ownership under the Kahn family.. need to be able to learn from mistakes and not double down on them
TLAW needs to leave! He is a great QB that has just been defeated since he was drafted. He needs a fresh start
If Jacksonville ever got a decent WR1 they might be alright
i wouldnt mind trading for him. anything is better than having jones at this point. and we have a better oline and better receivers than the jags.
I wouldn’t say the Giants receiver room is better than the Jags. Just the #1 receiver
My guy Caleb is so good
Jd is far better
I'm still waiting to see his true potential. Unlike a lot of people I thought his first couple games were ok for someone in his position and figured he would find his way in a few more games. He is showing glimpses of solid talent, but his wins haven't been against particularly good teams. He will have some real tests in the next few weeks. so then we will have a better idea soon. Ultimately, it takes 2-3 years for most QBs to really show their full strength so if he's a top 15 QB after his first year that's well ahead of the curve and a good sign for the future.
@@killiemucken He could have a better rookie year that Stroud, and that would be amazing.
Patiently waiting on the davante video 🫠
At this point they need to fight to hold that #1 draft pick and keep sitting in last
No it's not turning around this season best option is clean sweep new coach and GM, Ben Johnson feels like the best candidate to get the most out of Trevor
Everyone seems to be keeping their cool about being a shit team. It's like no one's pissed off. WTF. Why are only the fans showing any emotion toward this BS
I can't wait for your next video on the Cowboys, er, Jerry Jones.
Can't put the blame all on Sunshine
It’s sad.
The owner sucks.
“Blame finger”
They eff up when they didn't even try to get king James to play at home the season was over before it started
