Still altroz will be a much better value especially with turbo petrol and a reliable wet clutch DCT sourced from punch power as opposed to dry clutch overheating and gear skipping unit of hyundai and even the diesel variant will be much cheaper it even got a 40000 price cut and off course the 5 star safety rating and more space and better fuel economy,it also gets lots of features as well,and a premium cabin,it's also a better handler,plus it's also getting dark edition and camo edition to spice up the hot element,baleno surely will need work though to stay competitive

Tata has improved their quality but they still have a lot of nagging issues. I was a Tata owner but their cars don't have a resale value and their fittings and paint tend to fade overtime. I hope they look into these

Unfortunately , It can't get 5/5 safety rating just because of its Platform . For India , It will be based on inferior K1 Platform of Santro unlike the International Model which is based on much stronger K2 Platform of Elantra . And F.Y.I. , Santro already scored a meagre 2 Star Rating in GNCAP. Hyundai will adhere to its Cost Cutting measures for us Indian Customers.
I hope they provide DCT or CVT transmission, Ventilated seats, Tyre Pressure Monitoring system instead of a sunroof which is useless in Indian conditions. Air purifier is also not must.

Honda has always been given a Step motherly treatment to Jazz when compared to UK offerings. They stopped offering their best Magic Seats & starved it from loading it with features offered by competition. Jazz does have the best cabin space but mated with non responsive 1.2 Petrol engine. 2nd gear is useless & dead response at speed breaker.

I never thought I'd be this excited for a hatch. The only problem with Hyundai's recent amazing launches is that the sole dealer in our city is going beyond its capacity coz of huge demand and after-sales service is underwhelming now.

Rear seat comfort must be spacious and comfortable as compared to other hatchbacks in this segment. 4. With diesel engine this seems to be one of the few options for diesel buyers but the power train is as equal as venue 1.4(pardon me if I'm wrong)
Rear seat headrest should be adjustable from Magna model, not like the outgoing i20 , it hardly matters as a cost to company, instead providing sunroofs, which is rarely used in a year
I soo wanted to book 1 but the rear lights are forcing me to have 2nd thoughts. Particularly the lower sloping side of tail lamps 😐 i wish it was a straight side line instead of sloping down. That wud av been much classier
Never happens in India where the market is governed by the 4mtr size, is price conscious and the 'kitna deti hai' attitude... And with Hyundai, except for the design language, reliability and the tech gizmos, nothing "enthusiastic" to drive home about!
If they launch this in India with all these features stated here, it will destroy the competition head on. I wish they give 17 inch rims and ventilated seats. I don’t mind paying more till 13-14 lakhs. I need a beautiful car which satisfies my driving desire.
Despite this gem hitting the road soon. I'm advising people that if you get hefty discount on Asta-O 2019 model, please go for it. You'll miss nothing you need in that piece too. Again, hefty discount. .
