Ah, the 90's, what a great time. Mattel were still producing quality Barbies with articulation and material clothing. Also the doll's had lovely hair length too

I was 8 or 9 when the Workin' Out dolls were on shelves at Toys R Us. I vividly remember going to buy Workin' Out Teresa - she was the first non-Barbie doll I'd ever bought - and seeing a boy from school and being so embarrassed... how crazy! She was the last doll I bought as a child. Now here I am in my 30s, appreciating and collecting dolls again 😅 Loved seeing the 90s Barbies - the colours and looks are just so nostalgic! 😍

I think these came out when I was in college and too broke to buy them. The neon colors remind me more of the late 80s and very early 90s. I love them all. ❤

I've been eyeing these Barbies on ebay for a while now. When you put the cassette in the pink cassette player and hit play, I lost my mind!! 🤩🤩🤩

I was really lucky that my mum was so thoughtful. I had Rollerblade Barbie (with the sparking skates) because I was very into rollerskating. I never wore any protection, just skates. I also had gymnast Barbie plus Dance Moves Barbie and Teresa. Dancing and gymnastics were also part of my childhood.
That commercial for Bicyclin' Barbie is so memorable, I remember wanting her so badly haha

I have taken out a lot of my collector 90s Barbie out of their box. Just recently took the 40th Anniversary one out. I just got the 65th Anniversary Brooklyn for free, so it was the right occasion. Also the boxes are huge.

These are 3 dolls I don't have , the 90s is an area I don't have that much of in my collection , I was already collecting vintage with a furry during that decade . I liked the bicycle Barbie the best ... but maybe that's because I bike a lot ...ha ha ... I also love her shade of her platinum hair ! & the articulation seems like it's really good ! the fact that she comes with a bike a major bonus. I could see myself redressing her .The Cassette Tape Yes to that ! Thanks again for a great video ! Cheers Matt Sky

For me 90s and 80s were the pinnacle. Though I do like some of the more classic ones (like the original TNT). I must have been about 5 when I got my first one in 1993, it was just a basic 'European style' series Barbie with a blue dress. But I do remember the ads for sporty ones. And also had the Olympic gymnast one from either 95 or 96.

I had workin out Teresa for sure bc the orange was less feminine 😂😂 and a bike riding Barbie. I only liked the more articulated dolls because they were so fun to play with action figures.

@@Thedollswitness as time moves forward it’s becoming far more obvious that it’s usually someone who’s bothered by another’s comfort in who they are. “Faggot!” Is usually yelled by someone who’s got A LOT of internalized homophobia and just can not bring themselves to admit it and it makes them severely uncomfortable in their own skin. It’s has largely become a cry for help to me now. Im not stopping to “help” them but I do not hear “bully” in it anymore I hear “help I’m lost and my world is awful and I don’t know how to figure me out!” Calling another human being any slur like that says waaaaaaaay more about the person using it then the one it’s being used on

Cool idea! I mean my boyfriend today is the most supportive person ever, but the guy I was seeing when I first started collecting absolutely hated the Barbies.
