I have seen a LOT of people coming back to, and getting, The Division in 2018! So I wanted to make a video to help guide those people into the Endgame!
Destiny 2 is dead killed the franchise bro. Way to go Luke. Great job buddy you killed the damn franchise. Oh and you may want to learn how to play the damn game before you go trying to show off a game next time because idk if you guys noticed but the dude looked like he never picked up a damn controller before and he is clearly not a gamer at all. Duh look what they did to Destiny omg thanks alot man.Sucks even more for all the guys about to lose there jobs from bungie. Your gonna be in the ubisoft office applying for a job and they are gonna go oh you worked for bungie? nah no thanks your not ruining ubisoft no way jose .
Evermoorz Knight heck yeah, I quit playing the division a little after 1.4, I still have a vault full of gear but I gear sets have completely changed and I have no idea what I’m doin anymore.
Easily the best-made video for this topic that I've seen. You not only comprehensively explain what this is, what it's intended to be, but also go in-depth on the advantages of the sets, what peripheral items you might consider to supplement the sets, and what your weapon talent focus should be. Many people do Classified guides, but by that point, who really cares? You've long since figured it out, by that point. I'm at that point where I'm starting to farm Classified, and the D3-FNC set has been fantastic for solo farm, as you mentioned. Still playing with the SMG choice, and am presently using a decent SMG-9, with Destructive, Responsive, and Deadly. Been working better, until I eventually get a good, complete Classified set, to start doing exotic and Classified runs with groups. I appreciate your insight on the Reclaimer/Tactician's, which is funny, because I literally just built that set - the Rec4-Tac2 - right before seeing this video. I think it will be a good way to get into groups for end-game farm. Thank you again, and you should absolutely do more of these videos for The Division.
Rick I started watching your vids when I first started playing destiny 2. I kind of fell off on destiny and randomly started playing division again. Extremely happy you are playing the division so I can watch your videos again
I just got back in thanks to you. It is so much better and way more to do. I'm already 278, been hitting that grind, but can't build out a build that can take out rogues. Maybe you can talk about some maximized builds for the DZ next time...
The wife and I love playing co-op games and Destiny 2 was getting very stale, so we picked this up for the first time in early Jan when it was on sale for 15 bucks. This is a very fun looter-shooter, we are having a blast. Rick, please keep bringing Division content to your channel.
Great video Rick! Loved the tip and gear set suggestions - I’m that returning player who really never delved into the end game in the past and this information is very interesting to me. I agree the D3-FNC build is so fun and effective, but will def try the Reclaimer build too. Glad to see another video from you on The Division brutha!
Excellent video very informative. I have not played since patch 1.4 and now I am looking forward to playing since patch 1.8. Thank you for the info. update.
Great video, this new agent really appreciates all the helpful tips. Something I love about this game is the massive amount of variety in making a build just right for you... of course, there is the cold reality of using certain things for certain situations, but the variety is awesome.
This is the most comprehensive explanation I've seen. Very easy to understand and super helpful. Watched quite a few other but this one was by far the best. 5 stars my friend.
Yo this was great! SUPER USEFUL. I just came back to Division from D2 and I literally just hit 30 yesterday. It's like you made this just for me! I would love to see more Division videos. Keep up the good work.
Love the vids man. Also for striker, using a shotgun works wonders. You get 1 stack per pellet hit so one shot can add like 20 stacks if you hit with everything. keep up the good work!!
Hi Rick, thanks for the vid. Just came back to The Division after more than a year. This has been the most helpful video I've watched to help get back into the game. Please keep those vids coming!
Hey Rick, long time ghost follower here, back before gear sets came out (if I'm not mistaken). One thing I'd like to to add to this VERY informative video: Classified is NOT the same exact thing as regular gear sets, even aside from the 5 and 6 piece bonuses. It's important to remember that the max rolls for firearms, stamina, or electronics roll up to 1401 on classified gear, whereas the maximum main stat rolls on non-classified gear (including exotic and gold level 30 gear items) is 1272 before adding gear mods. Essentially, if the rolls are in line with what stats you're looking for, they will always be more viable because you can get your main stat roll (FA, Stam, Elect.) up to 1401. Other than that, this video was spot on, and I agree with all your points here. Great insight for new and returning players! There are a lot of additional statistical investments to make when building with classified gear that offer substantially higher payouts (i.e. a high-end/exotic build now allows 2 classy pieces, not of the same type, to be rolled up to 1401 main stat BEFORE modding gear, and you will STILL get the additional exotic perk when using the skull MC gloves). So new and returning folks, remember that the potential of classified gear is significantly higher than non-classified. And the BIGGEST THING: you can reroll not one, but TWO of the stats on the classified. Great guide, though! I like how this guide was geared to help new and returning players thrive in the end game! Keep up the good work, amigo! Happy farming guys, hope my input helped!
I want to thank you youtubers who are showing the way to a new fan base for this awesome game. I was hoping that you were going to put out some more Division vids! Keep them coming Rick Kackis!
Love the channel bro, this video help me out so much. Given the state of destiny 2 I returned to this game and I’m having a blast. Please make more Division content.
The D3-FNC with 6k + stamina and 120k Skill Power (to max your shield) is absolutely the most noob friendly and fun way to play. I don’t have a full classified set I want to run (I have a Final Measure set but it’s best for group play), but I use a Ninjabike and two pieces of Predator’s Mark which adds reload speed and SMG/AR damage so the House destroys faster. I had a player try to cut my rope in the DZ, while I was defending against NPCs - MELTED that kid. He couldn’t damage me fast enough and my shield was up - so I have no idea what he was thinking (he was solo). Anyway: the D3-FNC over all others UNTIL you have a 6 piece Striker, Predator or whatever. Solo any content (any difficulty), it’s literally god mode 😂
dude. you are a beast for informations and tips in games. helped me alot in destiny2. then i saw your division update video and brought the gold edition and im not regretting it. it is super fun to play. right now i try to farm a hunter and reclaimer class-set. cheers
I really appreciate the video; I've just started The Division again and it is very different than at release. I'd love to see additional Division videos, as I am a total noob at it right now.
I'm glad to be seeing more Division videos from you. Destiny is in a bad place and I kinda ignore new destiny videos now, so you doing Division vids makes me able to keep watching one of my favorite TH-camrs. Keep up the great content!
Excellent video. Really glad to have this. I'm going through my second attempt at the game, but I didn't have this the first time through to help set some acquisition goals. Thanks! The Striker and the Predator sets definitely caught my attention. Please continue making similar/general Division videos :)
I uninstalled D2 with the development update and just got another character to 30 the other day so this is so helpful because the end game is huge. Thanks and I'm in support of doing more division videos.
Got the gold edition on sale for $30. Just beat the campaign with a friend; these types of videos really help out seeing as how I'm just starting to get into the "endgame"
Thank you for the video! I just got the game and all the expansions, so this is very helpful to me. Looking forward to seeing more division videos! Been watching your destiny videos for a long time too. Enjoy your work. Keep it up!
Yeah when I left the division was in a pretty sad state. Bugs everywhere...people literally invulnerable in the DZ, or just trying to cheat or tank some poor solo person. Underground had just came out but overall the loot system just sucked, so I'm a more than happy to see the so called "State of Division" I give the guys at ubi a lot of credit.
Yea what's even more mind boggling is that it's PvP is worse than ever, it's nearly unplayable right now, all these people flocking to it are pve players and will get burnt out soon, guaranteed.
@Josh Dumont: The important thing about PvE is to keep providing content and have enough folks playing to keep things going.. the MMO games get this right.. if UBI can get this working for the Division, it can be good cash. So you are both correct and incorrect. You are right that folks will tend to burn out.. but that isn't the MMO model.
Started playing the division again right after the update. Have not been disappointed. The daily missions/challenges have been key to higher gear. Went from a measly 220 to 259 over the course of a two day reset and 12 hours of play. So glad they made this game fun once more.
The best gearing tip I can give is while leveling don't pick up any of the phones, intel, agent tags, etc. When you have complete all the zones and the General Assembly go collect the phones from every zone. By the end you will have about 40 caches to unlock from all the xp. Also 4xStriker, 2xD3-FNC works pretty good for PvE (underground).
Dude you are a legend I know this game is super old but I went back to it and played it and was super confusing but your video really helped me understand the game more thanks!
Dude, just got the game this is a huge help!! I suck at heads up shooting and the support role set sounds like it's a perfect set for my play style. I've always played healer in mmo's so cool there is a role like this in game!!
Thanks bro. Been playing for 4 months and struggling with a few good sets to go for. I love playing the game solo. But a team is nothing I'll argue about.
Good stuff man. I normally watch your Destiny vids but i love both games. Also i gotta say good job on both Div an Destiny vids both come off as you putting 100 % into them so thanks
I just decided to give this game a go. As a long time Destiny player I was no stranger to Mr Cactus. So, you can imagine my joy when i came looking for some tips and see one of my favorite youtubers!! Thank you so much for the guide and your always helpful tips.
This helped a lot. With the Division it feels like you have to go to school just learn how to use gear sets. I came back because D2 wasn't doing it for me any more.
I took to your last Destiny 2 video and got the Division over the weekend, just finished the campaign and doing the climb for GS(currently at 230). It's amazing how much there is to do in this game. Shows up Destiny 2 even more in my mind. Division is very enjoyable and most of it is fairly easy to pick up, however there are some small things that I wasn't sure on and tried to look up videos on youtube, some of the videos for this game don't seem to be as good as the content makers for D2...just something I noticed last few days.
ty good info, im division 2 player and i have shd lvl 10 700 yeah i play alot this game lol. Never played division 1 btw so im trying it now, just hit lvl 30, so this is a good info to start making builds, thank you !
Doing Division videos!!!!! I left Destiny 2 for The Division 1.8 a month ago. Went from level 1 to WT5 gear score 278 with 3 striker pieces and 5 firecrest pieces. This game is so rewarding with RNGesus and it rains loot. The different classified builds make you a support role like a healer or you can be DPS or a tank build. It is so much fun and perfectly combines Diablo 3, GRAW 2 and DCUO.
Really great vid man. Clear talk about all the perks of the sets and when & why you should use them. Simple to understand and not just for new players ;) You've got yourself another sub. Maybe do a similar vid about ninja bike builds?
Id add getting ninja back pack allows 4 3 setups in gear pieces as its exotic perk supplememts for 1 gear piece for each set. So doing a striker nomad hybrid allows for constant healing while also getting 4 piece striker. So activates 7 perks. Try it out youll love it if you dont have a 6 piece classified yet
helpful fact, with DPS builds like striker, pred, alpha if you're running a 4 piece, run 2 golds with it. I really recommend using either a specialized backpack, savage gloves, orrrrr a recklesss chestpeice. best way to maximize damage besides using 6 piece
I finally got my Ninja backpack, so I'm running 2 Striker, 2 Predator, and 1 Nomad. I'm loving it and looking forward to grind for a 6 piece Alpha starting tomorrow.
I quit this game like 3 months after it came out but I recently got back into it and I'm addicted I want a set and I didn't know what to get or how to get them or what they do. This helped a lot !!! Thank you !!!
note that if someone gets the Urban MDR, Predator kinda double dips. hit mostly headshots with it? they have high bleed ticks...which makes the exotics special bonus give it +18% dmg during the bleed, which can lead to a bigger bleed the 2nd time around (though most targets are dead before the 2nd bleed can happen)
Yes Rick keep doing Divison videos and yes they are very informative I bought the division when I had Destiny 1 and I just put it down...then I saw you're video and it has drawn me back so much it like destiny 1 was for me...I haven't played in so long I'm a little confused about dome of the gear what they do how effective as well the weapons...So this video is great keep making them please!
For new players, a 4 piece sentry with an Urban MDR is very destructive. You can primarily roll firearms with one piece other than your holster being stamina and then mod stamina and have a decent amount of survivability. The sentry stacks up to 15% more damage that even your team benefits from. And the Urban MDR is the only assault rifle that can put stacks on an enemy. Paired with the 18% damage bonus with distracted when the enemy has status effects and landing those headshots with an enemy armor dmg/dmg to elites focused build and you can melt some NPCs fairly quick. I run 3 sentry and 2 nomad with the Ninjabike to give me the 4 piece bonus and 3 piece bonus for extra survivability. Ninjabike is very crucial to hybrid builds when you are missing certain pieces. Regular gear sets only get one reroll on them so finding that perfect piece can be difficult. Your classified pieces can have two stats rerolled.
When I first started playing a year ago, the first Gear set I got a 4 piece set if was Predators Mark and I took to it immediately. I left it for a while to play Tactician for a bit, but now that I'm back with The Division, it was the first set I went for. Just shoot stuff. Nothing fancy, just shoot em dead! I run mine with Ninja bag and Banshee for that added Shredding goodness.
Good shit, thesis exactly what I needed. Think I'm gonna go for Reclaimer set + 2 Nomad pieces while I'm low level, with my ultimate goal being full classy Predator cuz I LOVE shotguns in this game.
I got lucky getting a ninjabike go bag early on while developing my reclaimer gear build and I mixed it with tactician and nomad. Which gives me the 4 bonus of reclaimer the skill haste bonus of tactician and the 2 set bonus of nomad
I'm a new player on this and really love the game so far is there any key elements in this game to be aware of, or consumables, guns, grinding armor etc
Jem all you need to save of div tech is the gold obviously, but you need them to fully optimize your gear. So you should save them and only use them on gearsets that you'll constantly use or like.
What he is basically saying is once you have your 6 piece classified set that you really like and has all the right rolls, they implemented the optimization station. Where we used to have to look for those god rolls to ensure we were getting the best stats has been eliminated. Now once you have the pieces you are looking for and the right rolls, you can spend money and division tech to begin to max out the gear. It's 50 division tech per roll so if it takes 5 rolls to fully optimize, that's 250 division tech. It goes quick.
I have seen a LOT of people coming back to, and getting, The Division in 2018!
So I wanted to make a video to help guide those people into the Endgame!
KackisHD nice vid helps a lot definitely going to try farm for the set with the smg and shield
I picked up the Division based on your recommendation and u am thoroughly enjoying it. Please keep these videos coming. Thanks!
Destiny 2 is dead killed the franchise bro. Way to go Luke. Great job buddy you killed the damn franchise. KackisHD thx for the guide for the newbies but in my opinion u should've waited till tomorrow for the global event to showcase all of them
Keep doing division videos, glad to see my favorite destiny TH-camr doing division videos
Definitely do more on the Division. This info is going to help me out a lot.
Evermoorz Knight heck yeah, I quit playing the division a little after 1.4, I still have a vault full of gear but I gear sets have completely changed and I have no idea what I’m doin anymore.
Jose Gonzalez I stopped right after I finished the story a month after release. So I haven't had a clue what to do in the end game lol.
More division vids until Destiny gets its act together!
Jack Pilk so division forever?
Blade25231 basically D2 is in a shit spot right now.
YES PLEAZSE.
Destiny is going nowhere but down at this point...
Jack Pilk my thoughts exactly,
And if Destiny didnt...
Then monster hunter
Thanks Kackis. Destiny 2 did not give me any thrill to play anymore so The Division is great for me these days.

Steve McGough Man your wife must be fun 😀I want a gamer girl too!
Thank you for the info. update.

Hey Rick, long time ghost follower here, back before gear sets came out (if I'm not mistaken). One thing I'd like to to add to this VERY informative video:

I really appreciate the video; I've just started The Division again and it is very different than at release. I'd love to see additional Division videos, as I am a total noob at it right now.

Ayyee great video fam. You should’ve included the Ninja bike bag build, you could have 4 set bonus of one gear and 3 set bonus of another set
Excellent video. Really glad to have this. I'm going through my second attempt at the game, but I didn't have this the first time through to help set some acquisition goals. Thanks! The Striker and the Predator sets definitely caught my attention. Please continue making similar/general Division videos :)
Thank you, one of the reason why I got Into the Division. Keep it coming
Bro u the first division youtuber I saw back when the game launched nd I saw ur videos alot..now got 4 characters nd still enjoying playing.
I uninstalled D2 with the development update and just got another character to 30 the other day so this is so helpful because the end game is huge. Thanks and I'm in support of doing more division videos.
This has got to be the best video for the division on TH-cam! Super easy to understand! Subscribed and thank you 🙏
Awesome. Subscribed. Keep em coming, man. I prefer this to any Destiny 2 content.
I bought the Division since your last one. I'm really enjoying it. It's strangely like the Destiny 2 we didn't get.
Great video. Glad to see you doing some division. I've jumped back into the division and I am loving it
Got the gold edition on sale for $30. Just beat the campaign with a friend; these types of videos really help out seeing as how I'm just starting to get into the "endgame"

I've been with this game since 2016! Glad to see you back on the divison man! Hope you enjoy the new global event
Crazy how everyone coming back to this game lol
some people just bandwagon, but i think players who played before was hoping to see it win (Like me)
JRKinG same here man
Yeah when I left the division was in a pretty sad state. Bugs everywhere...people literally invulnerable in the DZ, or just trying to cheat or tank some poor solo person.
Great guide have been looking for something like this since I started playing few weeks ago, thank you.
Dude you are a legend I know this game is super old but I went back to it and played it and was super confusing but your video really helped me understand the game more thanks!
YES !!! Would love some more Division stuff. This game is in such a great spot right now. Been having a lot of fun.
Great timing ...just got to this part ...and yes please more DIVISION vids please!!
Your videos are always excellent. Thanks for what you do. Longtime destiny listener of yours, happy I found you on a division search too.
Thanks for the helpful tips, came back and had no idea what this gears are. Time to grind for this sets
Dude, just got the game this is a huge help!! I suck at heads up shooting and the support role set sounds like it's a perfect set for my play style. I've always played healer in mmo's so cool there is a role like this in game!!

I just decided to give this game a go. As a long time Destiny player I was no stranger to Mr Cactus. So, you can imagine my joy when i came looking for some tips and see one of my favorite youtubers!! Thank you so much for the guide and your always helpful tips.
Great video. Honestly it help me understand the gear sets. Please keep up the vids. Thanks
finally came back to the division after getting hyped for division 2 very glad i did
yo THANK YOU man! I've gotten into the game this month and this vid is super helpful!
This helped a lot. With the Division it feels like you have to go to school just learn how to use gear sets. I came back because D2 wasn't doing it for me any more.
Thanks for this video. Pretty easy to understand and gives me a good idea on what to aim for when I reach level 30.
This was soooooo freaking helpful!!! I just started the game and BOY was I lost. Liked and Subed. THANK YOU!!!
Definitely keep up the good work. You are my favorite to follow for destiny content. This video was really good. Keep making more if you can.
More please man. Clear excellent recommendations.
Great vid. Just got back.. bought the gold edition at launch. Loving it again
great info! you should do a video about how to raise world tiers and how to find higher gear score items next!
Great and helpful video thanks Kackis! :D
Just getting back into this game after having it on the console. Really liking it, feels much better
ty good info, im division 2 player and i have shd lvl 10 700 yeah i play alot this game lol. Never played division 1 btw so im trying it now, just hit lvl 30, so this is a good info to start making builds, thank you !
watchig this in 2023 thx!
2024 here
Loving the division vids! Keep em coming
still valid info in 2022
Please do more division!
Great video! Have me a new perspective on those sets
Just got back into the game and it's already way more fun then my first play through
Doing Division videos!!!!!
This was great! You should def. do more The Division videos.
I just got back recently, and this vid makes me wanna play even more now. Thx!
Really great vid man. Clear talk about all the perks of the sets and when & why you should use them. Simple to understand and not just for new players ;)
You've got yourself another sub.
This really made me want to get back into the division
helpful fact, with DPS builds like striker, pred, alpha if you're running a 4 piece, run 2 golds with it. I really recommend using either a specialized backpack, savage gloves, orrrrr a recklesss chestpeice. best way to maximize damage besides using 6 piece
nice vid. very thorough u can always use 2 piece alpha with a dps build too get that 100% health regeneration
Great video but would like to see how to set your firearms, stamina and electronics for each year set please
Nice!! Love these division vids
Alright dude you convinced me lol I’ll try it out only because I can relate your videos to myself when I play destiny
note that if someone gets the Urban MDR, Predator kinda double dips. hit mostly headshots with it? they have high bleed ticks...which makes the exotics special bonus give it +18% dmg during the bleed, which can lead to a bigger bleed the 2nd time around (though most targets are dead before the 2nd bleed can happen)
Hey man I’m new to division on PC just finished my first gaming PC love the gods very helpful
The support station set looks really useful.
Wow.. Now I get it.. I'm a new player and reached 30.. Thank u Soo much for this detailed and simple explanation.. Subscribed and bell on..
I just came back and started running nomad with alphabridge with a messenger bag works well good game now
Excellent break down friend!!!
Nomad is also a good choice for solo players in the Dark Zone
When I first started playing a year ago, the first Gear set I got a 4 piece set if was Predators Mark and I took to it immediately. I left it for a while to play Tactician for a bit, but now that I'm back with The Division, it was the first set I went for. Just shoot stuff. Nothing fancy, just shoot em dead!
I run mine with Ninja bag and Banshee for that added Shredding goodness.
More videos like this place and maybe some on exotics and explaining them plz
Jem save and keep as much division tech as possible
rhys stafford why
Jem all you need to save of div tech is the gold obviously, but you need them to fully optimize your gear. So you should save them and only use them on gearsets that you'll constantly use or like.
edge lord69 okay thanks a lot
What he is basically saying is once you have your 6 piece classified set that you really like and has all the right rolls, they implemented the optimization station. Where we used to have to look for those god rolls to ensure we were getting the best stats has been eliminated. Now once you have the pieces you are looking for and the right rolls, you can spend money and division tech to begin to max out the gear. It's 50 division tech per roll so if it takes 5 rolls to fully optimize, that's 250 division tech. It goes quick.
Awesome video as always, thanks brother
