Thank you for this video! Even though it's "opinion", I still consider you the authority in all things Division... and I'm sure many would agree. I owe my solid builds to all the advice and statistics you've given. Striker is definitely my favorite, though I'm about to start work on a classified D3-FNC build.
I used to be all about the Final Measure build but within the last month have consistently using the D3:FNC build, I highly recommend it! I don't know what type of play you do most but if you're into Resistance at all, it works quite well. Was finally able to get to Wave 30 at the Powerhouse this week and on 2 occasions I was able to 'save the day' by being the only one left standing on the team. Being able to revive people while standing behind a super strong shield (with the House) was amazing.
Sang Pham I would like to argue Reclaimer. I still think that reclaimer would be a tier one set, especially end game content like heroic incursions need a good healer, and Reclaimer fits that criteria
Watching a pro play, with the right builds and the right tactics helps discern cheaters from good players. That is a benefit of these videos I think some might miss.

Thankyou Marco from a returning player (your 100,000th subscriber too). As an old player, I still have that deep rooted memory of the combo builds such as the striker/sentry build back from 1.2. Because of this, I have a different solo build using the Ninja backpack combining the Alphabridge and Predators Mark that I call the AlphaPred, a 4 piece Predator/3 Piece Alphabridge....I will be grinding the hell out now to get the Predator classified pieces as I'm just using a normal set ATM but already with only the Alphabridge being on classified but if it's focused on the AR, the bonus stacks turn a G36 into a damage god with 500K DPS, 450+K Toughness and 150K skill power and makes it a different choice to Lone Star and Banshee. It has turned it into that God Tier....screw Predator on its own.
I know I clicked like late by more than two years but I just missed Div 1 videos, gameplay , analysis. Hope in Division 3 you would have that motivation and interest. Yeah been watching your videos as well as other for the past week or so just to remember the fun I used to have with my mates in New York's winter weather especially with Hunters. Hoping we get that feeling in Division 3.
To counter that sh*tfest that is Firecrest and Tactitian I used a 1.6 hybrid I did with Ninjabackpack with two Firecrest 3 Tactian. With 8k Electronics 4K Stamina and Firearms- With either a Overheal/Seeker/Box and a Fire Turret - while in a group it helps A LOT. It’s all about the situation, and I like it a lot. To be honest, this should be called "Patch 1.8 Gear Set PVP Tier List". For example FireCrest+Urban MDR with only 8k electronics is verry FUN and effective PVE build. So that's that. You really should highlight the fact that you're opinions are mostly on PVP. But verry informative and good quality video as usual :) Been fallowing from the beginning of The Division,

I’ve seen a few people post and give good tips but you go deep (phrasing? 😏) in detail. I’ve done my d3, stricker and pred using the advice you give. one of the builds i was running while trying to get my first 6-piece ( mainly in PvE mind you) was a 3 piece tactician's with a 2 piece firecrest with the Wildcard backpack ( i never remember the name of it, the one that made it so i was running 4 piece tact, 3 piece firecrest) if someone is trying to farm their gear and they dont have a 6-piece yet, i recommend this set for PvE Only, i was constantly killed in PvP,m but it did mess with their minds to see themselves melting to the turret :)
Great videos marco i subbed im proud to be dutch like him we think lot about things thats whst dutch people do not all but go in depth & try & test evrything. I been running reclaimer day 1 never took it off im grinding for classefied items on ps4 i combined it with striker & ninja backpack bc i just have 1 classefied piece i took a break for long time i just started again few weeks back.
Apparently they can make npc-only sets (sentry). So I wish I could play deadeye in pve with semi auto snipers while shouldering. Seems this was the semiauto playstyle deadeye was designed for in original philosophy, body shots without scope, but got abused in pvp. They could remove the scope requirement for npcs (keep cover). Thoughts? Also, limit nomads in a squad. It's clearly designed for nomads ie solo play.
Marco I really you should have a division podcast we only have 2 at the moment (bombshell jacket and sitrep) but a third wouldn't hurt plus you're awesome at suggesting builds
I 100% agree with banshee. I loved running banshee, before classified came out. With the classifieds release, I do feel like it's not as satisfying. I usually play by myself and the banshee was the only thing that gave me an edge to rogue players. Now I feel like it's too weak. I use Nomad and Pred more than I do Banshee now and it really does sadden me. Those upgrades would be nice to have (the constant pulse, the two buy off stations) and would make me come back to it (because come on, constant scan to see who's around corners and get ready? Sign me up!). Thanks for the awesome content Marco. Keep up the great vids. They helped me get the most out of my builds and I always refer them to my friends when they're having trouble deciding between stamina or electronics.
Hi Marco, nice video as always! I wouldn't agree with the comment for pred, why is this cheese when striker with a shotty is not, or nomad ending up being killed 4 times and still survive is not. I wouldnt want to see a nerf on the 3 sets though. In my opinion other classified need a buff. Here is my thoughts on the changes: 1) Tactician: remove the first usage on 30 stack to be able to go to 60, if you have more than 30 stacks then using a skill will reduce the stacks to 30 indepentant of having 31 or 60. 2) Firecrest: add fire immunity to 6 piece that will be triggered on firedamage and will last for 7 secs(like adrenaline) can only be proced every 30 secs, revert turret damage to its previous state (its not only the turret nerf but also the stam buff that effected firecrest so much). 3) Alphabridge: remove ballancing the stats or have it to be 2 stats in order to get max duration. 4) D3: decrease pvp damage modifier on shield. Final Mesure, Reclaimer are really good as they are in group play. I dont know how 6 piece deadeye will have to change but its useless now. Sentry i am not sure if enabling 6 piece in pvp would make groups with a sentry mdr user op (would be fun to check it out though). hunters is great as it is, perhaps extent the time of the buff from 10 secs to 20? Banshee, no idea what to change :D What are your thoughts?

Hey Marco, love your videos and have become a disciple to your build videos, trying to mimic as much as I can in my own builds. I am an oddball in that I use an Xbox 360 controller on my PC, thus I have all the shortcomings of a console player against the best PC players in this game. I do not do well in PVP so I keep to PVE and that makes me happy. I hate doing an hour of grinding in the DZ just to get ganked by someone like yourself that has all the gear and every piece is maxed out and perfectly set up for max everything. Oh pity me, lol. With all that said, I would like to know if you could do another video ranking the Classified Gearsets for PVE? I have fun with my 6 piece classified Lone Star and Reclaimer, but don't know how to set up or use my final measure or firecrest. A video for us PVE only guys would be wonderful. First things first I love the videos huge fan! But I can’t see how this is a good video because I will never get 6 piece of anything at this point and so I have slowed to a halt on playing this game. It’s unfortunate because it’s a fun game but I can’t see continuing the grind for these 6 piece gear sets because just getting any of the classified pieces is so hard. Let alone the getting the one you where looking for!! And the time needed to get some is way more than I can put in. So I will continue to watch your videos because I enjoy them. Thanks

So 4:25 into the video you mention this is a PVP tier-list video. I don't know if you said it prior in the video or not, but if so, I missed it. I've just started playing the game again after roughly a year away (put about 125 hours in after release, ran out of things to do, and moved on), and I was looking for a tier list for both PVE and PVP to kinda help me regain the lay of the land. It's disappointing that the title of this video doesn't explicitly indicate that it's a PVP-focused vid. Please consider making the video's focus more obvious in your titles in the future. Great vid Marco you nailed it. Striker is cool because it rewards skill. IMO nomad spoils the pvp experience because it is luck based. It would be great if the nomads luck was only limited to solo players, there is too much use of it on teams. What do you think?
For console? Not everyone has aim like you and can land shots. PC vs Console aiming is bounds and leagues apart. Hell key and mouse vs controller gives significant advantage across the board.
Great video as always. How many of these superior cashes do you have to open to open to get a complete set? Is 40 a godd number? The GEs are getting tiresome and unfulfilling. The Ambush modifier did not even work in PvP, was so excited it would.
People are upset with Predators Mark because 95% people playing in the DZ do not play in well organized groups that can deal with it. Thus is should be in tier 1 or god tier - easily IMO. - Loved the video!

I agree! I still grinded, but for other reasons I guess. I would like another chest and mask for my striker. Got a house finally and I get to mess around with a firecrest (DPS build). Have 26 cashes left to open! 🤞🤞
Marco you didn't mention that the alphabridge 4 piece got a change. They've made it so that any weapon talent can be unlocked. While ignoring the weapon talent stat requirement.
Classified Striker with a Show Stopper and Light M4 is the best PVE build. Use the Show Stopper to get your stacks up and Finish them with LM4 with predatory to get your health up!! Having a lot of fun with this build!

As someone who doesn't particularly care for PvP in this game due to it being mostly Pray n Spray, I would've appreciated more commentary that also includes PvE as well as PvP.
Marco, yet another great video. I agree with you on all points, especially the Predator set, which I knew from when I got the set that it wasn’t going to be an issue in the DZ. And yes it’s a little cheesey, but I still think it’s a tier 1. As for some of the other sets, Tactician needs to have a skill power boost and should go back to allowing group members to add to the stack and do away with this rubbish of not been able to use the same skill to use the the second buff. I thought these sets were suppose to be OP, so make them OP. As for Alpha, I would like for the 6 piece to include 6 talents and for Alpha to use the stack system like Striker to use its signature. But Alpha should be able to have the effects of team mates signature. This will then rival Striker. Finally this game has no place for snipers. Brilliant video, I always find them engaging.
Valid points on all sets. I'd just like to point out that alpha also gives you all weapon talents unlocked, so you can use talents that normally wouldn't be unlocked together in your build. My alpha for instance is sitting at 500,080 dps without card counter active 578,840 when card counter is active. And I'm not using swift, accurate, brutal or any other fake dps boosters and I only have 6.6k firearms. Thats about the dps my striker has after building stacks. When card counter is on and I get the tac ult I'm sitting at 869,253 dps BEFORE I hit booster shot and with an optimal range grip on my house instead of crit dmg. I have to agree that the healing over time plus dmg makes striker the best set, but I think you should take another look at Alpha.
Hey Marco, while I know you do not think too highly of the Alphabridge six piece set, what do you think of potential combinations for a five piece Alphabridge build? Say five piece with savage, vigorous, or colonel bliss for example? The goal here would be to unlock damage talents the player ordinarily could not use while having high firearms/stamina.
its that moment where i feel dirty for just finishing predators mark. then again, im sure people feel a little dirty with striker ;3 i understand yah wanted to stay to just ranking em, but could you suggest a full list of improvements? all opinionated im sure, but im always interested in the thoughts of a division veteran ;p
EMP? This comes either in 2 grenades everybody can have or in a Skill. Also, playing a smart pred at range forces a lot of shit from the striker as he might not been able to build stacks. Pred needs 10 bullets, striker needs a lot of bullets. I know, medkit can clense, or a friendly support station, but you don't have that always available/dont always wanna waste that shit on an EMP. The more I play this and the more I felt cheesed the more I realized that you can basicly outplay most stuff, depending on how good you are and how good your opponent is. This varies ofc also on the build you're wearing. Every set has strengts and weaknesses, if you deny your enemy his strengts and play around your strengts, you should win the fight or at least stand a good chance in doing so.
thetute59 striker is way out in front of everything else. It's non stop health plus dps. Cronus max everywhere with it to. Haven't played in weeks and have no Intention of going back. In my opinion they missed the boat with the dark zone. It should be standard gear going in and you pick up better gear the longer you're in there. Anything you extract is for pve. Like survival but without the stupid sickness part and when you die, you drop some of the items you have and get standard ones again.
You straight up ignore my points. 1) You have multiple sources to EMP a striker. for more info, see my first response. 2) A striker needs to build stacks. if you play smart he cannot really build those. Then he doesnt have the "non-stop health plus dps". If he has stacks, simply wait or kill the mobs around him, so he loses those. 3) cronus max: well yeah, I don't know shit about it, just that its some "help" in playing games. I agree that this can be an issue, depending on what it is.

At 15:00 in the video you put a bleed on the third dude without shooting him with 10 bullets. I'm assuming it is because you were using the bleed talent under the talent tree. Am I correct in assuming that that was the reason, and then can state that that talent works with the predator mark classified bleed.
Personally, after all things considered, I'd still swap Predator to Tier 1 and D3-FNC to Tier 2. Other than that, I completely agree with your rankings and reasoning for each.
Tactician should be Tier 1 or at least Tier 2. I get it's your opinion....but hear me out Marco....for people who are anti CHEESE.....*cough* Predator.....My squad and I run shield, striker, final measure, and tactician pulse. With an amazing pulse you have now made the shield player and the final measure player deal the DPS player of pred. We Melt predators and nomad players with this setup. Tactician IMO is a must in team play. I remember watching a gumpenstein video back in the day...where he said this game should be were we have a DPS player, tanks, healer, and mages.....I think Striker, tactician, shield and final measure healer allows us to play the game like that.
I don't know if it really comes to skill but I have tested lone star, predator and nomad (I still don't have 6 pieces striker) and my favorite is nomad, not because of the extra lives but because it has health regen and when I face strikers and predators they are all really easy to kill, I'm in console so I'm pretty sure it's probably different in pc but in ps4 when it comes to survive, I'm thinking nomad and striker are just the best

They aren’t generally similar. Sentry would climb lone star would too. So would alpha bridge. Final measure would drop.

In my humble opinion every gear set build around DTE and EAD can wreck un PVE. That been said l think tactician, sentry, HF and d3-fnc would be tier 1

TAVVOOS I think you're right, but they dont do a lot of things that they should and do a lot of things that they shouldn't.
I think responsive and competent are very situational, unlike predator and nomad which are more easy to obtain their perks

Marco can you make a video for players like myself who’s been gone from the game for a year. At the time my gear score was maxed but with all the new changes I’m lost and I’d like to get into the game again. Great job on your videos keep it up!!
Hey Marco, love your videos and have become a disciple to your build videos, trying to mimic as much as I can in my own builds. I am an oddball in that I use an Xbox 360 controller on my PC, thus I have all the shortcomings of a console player against the best PC players in this game. I do not do well in PVP so I keep to PVE and that makes me happy. I hate doing an hour of grinding in the DZ just to get ganked by someone like yourself that has all the gear and every piece is maxed out and perfectly set up for max everything. Oh pity me, lol. With all that said, I would like to know if you could do another video ranking the Classified Gearsets for PVE? I have fun with my 6 piece classified Lone Star and Reclaimer, but don't know how to set up or use my final measure or firecrest. A video for us PVE only guys would be wonderful. Thanks for all of the info in your videos and keep up the great work.

First things first I love the videos huge fan! But I can’t see how this is a good video because I will never get 6 piece of anything at this point and so I have slowed to a halt on playing this game. It’s unfortunate because it’s a fun game but I can’t see continuing the grind for these 6 piece gear sets because just getting any of the classified pieces is so hard. Let alone the getting the one you where looking for!! And the time needed to get some is way more than I can put in. So I will continue to watch your videos because I enjoy them. Thanks

So 4:25 into the video you mention this is a PVP tier-list video. I don't know if you said it prior in the video or not, but if so, I missed it. I've just started playing the game again after roughly a year away (put about 125 hours in after release, ran out of things to do, and moved on), and I was looking for a tier list for both PVE and PVP to kinda help me regain the lay of the land. It's disappointing that the title of this video doesn't explicitly indicate that it's a PVP-focused vid. Please consider making the video's focus more obvious in your titles in the future. Great vid Marco you nailed it. Striker is cool because it rewards skill. IMO nomad spoils the pvp experience because it is luck based. It would be great if the nomads luck was only limited to solo players, there is too much use of it on teams. What do you think?
For console? Not everyone has aim like you and can land shots.
PC vs Console aiming is bounds and leagues apart. Hell key and mouse vs controller gives significant advantage across the board.
Great video as always. How many of these superior cashes do you have to open to open to get a complete set? Is 40 a godd number? The GEs are getting tiresome and unfulfilling. The Ambush modifier did not even work in PvP, was so excited it would.

People are upset with Predators Mark because 95% people playing in the DZ do not play in well organized groups that can deal with it. Thus is should be in tier 1 or god tier - easily IMO. - Loved the video!
I’m liking alpha atm but only cause I don’t have a full striker/d3 set yet as soon as I get striker it’ll be my go to set

I agree! I still grinded, but for other reasons I guess. I would like another chest and mask for my striker. Got a house finally and I get to mess around with a firecrest (DPS build). Have 26 cashes left to open! 🤞🤞
Marco you didn't mention that the alphabridge 4 piece got a change. They've made it so that any weapon talent can be unlocked. While ignoring the weapon talent stat requirement.

Classified Striker with a Show Stopper and Light M4 is the best PVE build. Use the Show Stopper to get your stacks up and Finish them with LM4 with predatory to get your health up!! Having a lot of fun with this build!

You could talk a bit about hybrid builds with ninja bike. What about 3 alpha 2 banshee or 2 pred
As someone who doesn't particularly care for PvP in this game due to it being mostly Pray n Spray, I would've appreciated more commentary that also includes PvE as well as PvP.

Marco, yet another great video. I agree with you on all points, especially the Predator set, which I knew from when I got the set that it wasn’t going to be an issue in the DZ. And yes it’s a little cheesey, but I still think it’s a tier 1. As for some of the other sets, Tactician needs to have a skill power boost and should go back to allowing group members to add to the stack and do away with this rubbish of not been able to use the same skill to use the the second buff. I thought these sets were suppose to be OP, so make them OP. As for Alpha, I would like for the 6 piece to include 6 talents and for Alpha to use the stack system like Striker to use its signature. But Alpha should be able to have the effects of team mates signature. This will then rival Striker. Finally this game has no place for snipers.

Valid points on all sets. I'd just like to point out that alpha also gives you all weapon talents unlocked, so you can use talents that normally wouldn't be unlocked together in your build. My alpha for instance is sitting at 500,080 dps without card counter active 578,840 when card counter is active. And I'm not using swift, accurate, brutal or any other fake dps boosters and I only have 6.6k firearms. Thats about the dps my striker has after building stacks. When card counter is on and I get the tac ult I'm sitting at 869,253 dps BEFORE I hit booster shot and with an optimal range grip on my house instead of crit dmg. I have to agree that the healing over time plus dmg makes striker the best set, but I think you should take another look at Alpha.

Hey Marco, while I know you do not think too highly of the Alphabridge six piece set, what do you think of potential combinations for a five piece Alphabridge build? Say five piece with savage, vigorous, or colonel bliss for example? The goal here would be to unlock damage talents the player ordinarily could not use while having high firearms/stamina.
its that moment where i feel dirty for just finishing predators mark. then again, im sure people feel a little dirty with striker ;3
i understand yah wanted to stay to just ranking em, but could you suggest a full list of improvements? all opinionated im sure, but im always interested in the thoughts of a division veteran ;p

Predators mark brings balance to the force. If anything is OP it's Striker.
Pred mark is counter with edr.... It makes a huge difference on the bleed.
Striker has no counter. It's op as fuck and I have both gear sets
EMP? This comes either in 2 grenades everybody can have or in a Skill. Also, playing a smart pred at range forces a lot of shit from the striker as he might not been able to build stacks. Pred needs 10 bullets, striker needs a lot of bullets.
I know, medkit can clense, or a friendly support station, but you don't have that always available/dont always wanna waste that shit on an EMP.
The more I play this and the more I felt cheesed the more I realized that you can basicly outplay most stuff, depending on how good you are and how good your opponent is. This varies ofc also on the build you're wearing. Every set has strengts and weaknesses, if you deny your enemy his strengts and play around your strengts, you should win the fight or at least stand a good chance in doing so.
thetute59 striker is way out in front of everything else. It's non stop health plus dps. Cronus max everywhere with it to. Haven't played in weeks and have no Intention of going back.
In my opinion they missed the boat with the dark zone. It should be standard gear going in and you pick up better gear the longer you're in there. Anything you extract is for pve. Like survival but without the stupid sickness part and when you die, you drop some of the items you have and get standard ones again.
You straight up ignore my points.
1) You have multiple sources to EMP a striker. for more info, see my first response.
2) A striker needs to build stacks. if you play smart he cannot really build those. Then he doesnt have the "non-stop health plus dps". If he has stacks, simply wait or kill the mobs around him, so he loses those.
3) cronus max: well yeah, I don't know shit about it, just that its some "help" in playing games. I agree that this can be an issue, depending on what it is.

Does the Banshee set bonus has an effect within Last Stand or Skirmish, where the whole oponnent team is rogue?
At 15:00 in the video you put a bleed on the third dude without shooting him with 10 bullets. I'm assuming it is because you were using the bleed talent under the talent tree. Am I correct in assuming that that was the reason, and then can state that that talent works with the predator mark classified bleed.

Personally, after all things considered, I'd still swap Predator to Tier 1 and D3-FNC to Tier 2. Other than that, I completely agree with your rankings and reasoning for each.

Only things I would put above Tactician, Sentry and Alpha Bridge is Striker, Nomad, and Predator....Alpha Bridge might be my favorite though.
Tactician should be Tier 1 or at least Tier 2. I get it's your opinion....but hear me out Marco....for people who are anti CHEESE.....*cough* Predator.....My squad and I run shield, striker, final measure, and tactician pulse. With an amazing pulse you have now made the shield player and the final measure player deal the DPS player of pred. We Melt predators and nomad players with this setup.
Tactician IMO is a must in team play. I remember watching a gumpenstein video back in the day...where he said this game should be were we have a DPS player, tanks, healer, and mages.....I think Striker, tactician, shield and final measure healer allows us to play the game like that.

I don't know if it really comes to skill but I have tested lone star, predator and nomad (I still don't have 6 pieces striker) and my favorite is nomad, not because of the extra lives but because it has health regen and when I face strikers and predators they are all really easy to kill, I'm in console so I'm pretty sure it's probably different in pc but in ps4 when it comes to survive, I'm thinking nomad and striker are just the best
