about BDO number of devs, I remember I read somewhere when the game was in beta, it was a group of coworkers in game industry try to make their own game, so the number of personnels was something like 3 at the beginning and grew out over the years. At the moment of game launch, I don't think the group of devs was anywhere near 100, but I could be wrong.

People always throwin shade at Star Citizen, "hurr durr 47K Package"... Yeah for every single ship in the game and then some... Quick math if i was to buy all the Apparel alone in Black Desert that are currently available on the pearl shop. On my Ranger that's $1600 for every single outfit/costume, underwear, glasses, piercings etc.. I can have what 32 characters and each of those needs their own outfits that are locked to them and they nearly all have unique outfits of their own. give or take $1600 x 32 = $51,200 ($51,350 including the character slots needed). On outfits alone, not including time limited outfits (Fomo sales) not going into every other item in the game one can purchase (tent, farms, pets, maids, ship and mount gear). Ships in Star Citizen are a whole lot more then just a outfit for the most part, crew requirements going from 1- 80 people needed/able to play with the ship in various roles from small minivan sized shuttles to 500 meter long colossal titans of space from Combat, Mining, Salvaging, Trading, Repair, Refueling, Racing, Medical, Base/Construction, Exploration, News, Carriers, Frigates and Destroyers spaceships and ground vehicles (hover crafts, tanks, and rovers) Most of which are already in the game nearly all with high detailed interiors and quite extensive gameplay loops either ingame already or planned out. 172 ships and 28 ground vehicles Final Fantasy XIV, World of Warcraft, Elder Scrolls Online, Phantasy Star Online 2, Etc... etc... All of these can be scaled to be comparable if not worse all these little microtransactions in games addup and if you aren't aware of your money you're blowing through an extensive amount on a recurring basis then the need to buy expansion packs, maintain a monthly subscription just to maintain access to what you've paid and sunk tens of thousands of hours into Star Citizen has just bundled everything up and a single price on all these little purchases that people would normally choose to ignore. $45/55 for Star Citizen permanent access to everything Star Citizen. Anything beyond that is an additional purchase someone can make like any other game, everything they get for those additional purchases can be attained ingame. Example Origin 890J largest ship that's presently flyable/buyable 65 Million aUEC (inggame currency) going from a starter ship one can earn 200-400k Per hour. (Worse Case 4,000,000 ÷ 200,000 = 20 Hours) to move to the next bracket comparable to Galeass/Caravel in Black Desert from there 500-800k per hour is doable (Worse Case 65,000,000 ÷ 500,000 = 130 Hours) So comparable to grinding for a Carrack in Black Desert Honestly at that stage it's purely a grind because one wants to as the ship isn't profitable or powerful, or much else then a luxury super yacht. Actually gameplay beneficial ships cap around 40 Million presently so even less of a grind. those ships also require several crew to really make decent use of so that time can be divided between several people akin to a guild galley.
Anyone who pay 250$ for their Alpha and is still defending AOC, 100% deserve to wait another 20 years for that game to release. Rest of us will watch from the sidelines and laugh.
And people that give money to gaming companies that run BDO and Lost Ark are the reason we will never have another good MMO. So who really is the bigger problem here?
@@diet-jay2159 Yes. You completely miss the point because your hate for a game in development. You giving p2w monetized games money 100% is worse than giving to a game that is in development and being designed without these systems. Keep showing them p2w is profitable so you keep getting terrible games made out of greed.
@@johnny9633 It's the only reason the MMO is even being created. Do you know any history on Steven? Literally p2w archeage is the only reason Ashes started development. If they flipped on that they would lose every supporter they have.
what's up with zoomers and millennials slobbing on corporate knobs? this guy was literally defending aoc and the money because they pay their people and all the bonuses. what's actually going on here?
They saw the market strategy of Star Citizen and said "maybe we can do that for a Fantasy mmo!" Also whoever you are watching has no idea what has caused inflation because it has little to do with the fed. And what good is all this data that they want to collect? They aren't going to hire enough people to go through it so it will just be some automated system. This game is never ever coming out. By the time Alpha 2 ends and Beta 1 is beginning, they will have to go back to Alpha 3 for the graphics engine updates and then they will want to expand the world further... Also... I love how he thinks the game has 64 classes. It doesn't. It has the same shit almost every mmo does -- a base class and then sub classes. Technically WoW has like 36 classes by that definition.
Non of the developers speaking about the game is looking at the camera when speaking, it feels like, when someone is trying to lie to you, but also trying not to laugh, so they can't look you in the face XD
Don't listen to this guy. I'm also a KS supporter and have been following the development for 7 yrs. Yes, Steven was way wrong on his initial release date but they are really doing a great job with open transparency development. A2 is in a 3-5months. So you'll be able to test gameplay for a long time all the way up to release. Hope to see you in test!
Star Citizen is atleast working on groundbreaking tech, and ACTUALLY succeeded and is now working towards a final product, with a side product set to be released next year. Ashes sucks by today's standard.
While the guy making the video is kind of soying out, I do understand where he is coming from in a way. A lot of the design ideas in Ashes were thought of at the beginning and at his point are extremely outdated. These ideas and promises that were made pigeon-holed them into developing unnecessary large tools, which do take time and I sort of believe them on that. It is really reductionist to say AI is just going to make this obsolete, but I understand where you are coming from since I'm a developer myself. Just from memory, they want to have each class be augmentable by other another class and something like 32 different variables. Tbh that does sound cool, if I read that in a book I could probably imagine a few cool ones, but this is a game and we all know there will be a few popular ones the rest will be useless. So why not just develop those few cool variations and create a theme around it? I'm sure someone has brought it up to the man himself, but I just think the simplest answer is probably the correct one. Steven fucking loves it and he is gonna keep going with these grand ideas cause it feels good. Releasing the game would probably feel good, but that would wear off. Keeping the game is continued development is probably the most fun thing for him. Every month when he does a livestream of the game, it is like he is "releasing" the game. Thousands comment telling him how great it is, and he gets to continue this seemingly indefinitely. I actually understand it because it is probably pretty damn fun. I'm sure he wants to complete the game and release it, but that novelty of being the "savior of mmos" probably isn't wearing off any time soon. Hopefully by the time it does wear off the game is pretty close and they finish it, instead of just going alright that was fun and close it down.
if you never realise the game ppl will stil be hungry for it and throw in money. but if it do realise it might fail and all that money is gonne and there jobs.
AoC is goinna be mediocre at best if it even ever releases. Also, you guys should so some research on how Steven got all of his money in the first place, then look at how their referral program works. It's multi-level marketing 101 essentially.
BDO also knows exactly how much money they've made from their p2w pearl shop 😂 It's a glorified mobile game and lottery simulator. This video just comes off as hating on every aspect of a game for no reason. Just MAYBE this is an extremely ambitious project that will take more time than the typical shit mmo that has been released.
I love watching videos like these that someone complain about length of the releasing game, but when some developer release another WoW clone in 3-4 years they also cry that no one is trying to invent something new XD how can you compare BDO that 90% of the game is about grinding to any MMO on the market? This game should be compared to metin 2 or tibia, games without any reasonable story/content other than chasing the 0,2% output upgrade.
This guy doesn't know the most basic things about what the video he reacts to talks about. 1) doesn't understand the class system 2) keeps claiming people would need to pay *again* for the betas and "alpha 7", when there's literally a fixed amounts of phases (A1,A2,B1,B2). 3) claims A2 will be 2 years, and Beta 1 again 2 years, when in fact A2 will be running until the launch of the game and the betas will be short, additional tests (load tests etc.) 4) "release it with 3 biomes then do the other ones in expansions". Shows again he doesn't have a clue about the node system, otherwise he'd know that this does not work. ... I'd be interested in his opinion, but instead I'm just hearing objectively wrong statements. If you talk so much about a game, at least invest 15 minutes to know what you're talking about.
Can someone show me where and when Ashes has asked for money? I see expensive packages and i have watched almost every monthly update. I cant recall ever being asked to buy one. They have been clear on what you are buying. Access to test and development support for the cosmetics package you buy. I dont give Ashes money but trying to figure out all the haters.
I don't recall Battlestate games or Robertsspaceindustries saying what you are paying for is not a game, do not have the expectation for it to be a game, like Intrepid have done, or rejecting sales for their Alphas like Intrepid has done, just admit you're scarred by having hope for things in the past and being let down, and now you cannot hold out hope for anything, you're broken, that's okay. Besides that point, the state of Tarkov and Star Citizen can not be compared, Tarkov is for all intent and purposes a completed game, they are just more ambitious than your average game developer and had a very ambitious plan for what their full release would be, (if you think of their new maps like expansions it might make more sense to you) and that's not a bad thing, we should want ambitious game developers, Tarkovs current state as a game takes a dump on so many so called fully released titles. What is actually going on here is, you, the creator of this video, and many others are not capable of watching a game in open development, without calling it a scam, if this project wasn't announced yet, and nothing had been shown, and they were at the exact same point and in 12 months from now released a trailer you would have a completely different opinion, and that's because you are incapable of watching a game in open development, that's also okay, we all have our faults, just accept you're both scarred from what previous game developers have done to your hope for games, and that you lack the capability of watching a game in open development while simultaneously remaining patient for its release. You can continue to make moronic comments like you have any real insight into what the game will become, or you can wait and inevitably play it anyway, like all the other morons pretending to have any insight into how the game will turn out, or how it will never be released will do.
Hey Blue, nice video again! I agree with many of your points and it takes way too much time. I also agree with you that the constant money demand is really concerning at this stage of development. But I think the data analytics is a w change here and I dont think that PA/BDO has these data. They fcked up so many patches. It took them 3 weeks to notice that one of the warrior %BSR skills does like 3 times the dmg than it should do. They fcked up missing protection or resistances. I remember your reaction video when they added this small line in bug fixes which said: After using corsair skill xy the grab resistance in the mermaid skills are not working. We had tons of patches that protections are not working for god knows how long. I am very sure that PA has no idea of how player interactions are working in detail. Not the dmg, not the protection. They might see the kill you did. But what leads to it they can't see. I think all this stuff in BDO is happening and taking so long because PA has zero data of what is actually happening damage wise. Sure they can track monsters killed and quests completed. But if it would be so easy for them to track dmg they could just make these numbers visible as a large majority of people wants them to make. The fact that they dont tells me that they cant do it so easily on the live servers. On glab we have them and there is no issue with that. Also the imbalance in class damage is way to high in PvE and PvP. They got better at it. But lets take succ Woosa as an example. She is still really good in PvE, was beyond broken for 9-10 months after release because of the triple DP debuff. And we had stuff like this way too often. There are 2 options for me. 1st: They have all the data and just dont care or 2nd: They dont have the data and therefore have to wait what we say. Regarding Ashes itself: I think they are just overthrowing stuff from time to time because there is the new function they want to implement (like the unreal engine thing which will take an eternity to change now). And if you want everything perfect you will never finish. I like the effort that they seek perfection, but at this point it starts to hurt the project and that people makes memes when it will be released tells you that it has been too long.
WTF????? Money demand? NOT ONCE have they asked for money. It's up to the buyer IF they want to support the project. Steven has said MULITPLE times DO NOT BUY THIS ALPHA OR BETA if you don't want to seriously 'TEST' this game. Pretty cut and dried...it's bafoons like this that just make me laugh..as they dole out misinformation by the truck loads. 15k on BDO...start calling his channel the Stupid Blue Whale....god you people are fn stupid. As a side note you can't buy anything for ashes anymore. Do some damn research before you start spouting crap.
I get that your schtick is "angry, loud MMO guy" but why not do some research on what youre pretending to be so mad about? Your overall take is fine but the amount of misinformation youre spewing really detracts from your point. I guess your echo chamber isnt gonna care tho.
Seems you’re a bit lost blue, alpha 2 is supposed to run till open beta and the betas are not gonna be as long al alpha 2. as soon as beta are done game release is gonna be few month after
I wouldn't trust this guy (blue squadron) for information currently. It's actually pretty sad. He says "he follows " the game development, yet he's wrong on many things and/or doesn't know what he's talking about. He makes jokes about fact checks but he himself needs to be fact checked. Here are some facts. 1. Dec 2016 to May 2024 is not 8 Years. Its 7 yrs 6 months. He says it multiple times yet its pretty simple math. 2. He compares BDO to Ashes in terms of time of development. * BDO total map size is around 400km^2, where Ashes of Creation Alpha 2 Map at start will be between 220-300km^2, At launch the total map size is supposed to be 1200km^2 (including Land+water) + addtional 100km^2 of under realm. * BDO armor/outfits / mounts is dismal in comparison to Ashes number of armor already + mount skins (which takes time to develop each piece)f * BDO has no where near in depth system as Ashes system. *Ashes has slowly hired more and more Employees but for the first 13 months, they only had approx 20-25 employees. In addition to small new dev team, the pandemic hit them during development as well. 3. He acts like Alpha 2 sales are still going on making them money lol. Alpha 2 and other packages have stopped being sold as of January 17th 2024, so he's just about 5 months late on that. He apparently has no clue that Alpha 2 is going to be persistent all the way until launch. (This next part is my assumption and not fact: I highly doubt the game will take 3 more years to release since alpha is persistent up till launch. I think Alpha 2 will be between 18 months to 2 years max) Alpha 2 will run through and parallel with the Betas, once the game launches, A2 servers turn into PTR's 4. Alpha 2 will have approx 100,000+ Testers. A2 packages (not including Kick Starters) produced approx $25-30million. Steven himself put up over $50 million of his own money towards the game. 5. Where is he getting Embers will only be usable for 6 months???? He has no clue... /sigh ... Embers are for the in game non-p2W - cosmetics only shop. When the Game launches. So the embers you get will be used to spend for the cosmetics shop. Another thing about A2 one of the packages was around $250. If Alpha 2 runs for 18 months thats basically ($270) game time at $15/per month for sub at launch. Plus you get 6 months additional game time at launch. So not sure what he's complaining about there. I could continue on going but im not about to waste another 40 mins on this guy. He calls Ashes a scam where he's the scam. Follow facts dont follow this person who has no clue what he's taling about.
Bdo shines in class design and combat mobility, FF14 has perfectly choegraphed combat, Wow's strength lies in reactive gameplay and its polish, GW2 shines in flight exploration and ESO in the RPG factor. In Ashes, the combat doesn't look particularly mobile, well cheogrphed or polished at this stage. There will be no flighting gameplay and I can't judge how RPG heavy the game will be. They definitely need a few more years otherwise it will be nothing more than NW 2.0, nice for 1-2 months. Because a nice world and nice tree cutting animations don't help to keep players. So lets pray for the 4 years more and not for earlier.
Blue I wish you’d do more research cause honestly some of your takes are just based off completely incorrect info and you sound ridiculous. Yes the alpha 2 cost an insane amount and it should not have been that much. Yes it is taking an absurd amount of time to develop. But things like saying you’ll pay for each stage of alpha is false. If you got one stage you have access to the game all the way up til release. Also the pyramid thing was just nonsense, but you went back on that one pretty quick. Calling it p2w doesn’t make sense at all either. It’s literally just pay to play. This guy you’re reacting to has insane copium tho. Man is doing tricks on it.
I don't comment often, but my brain went dead listening to the amount of stupidity and false information spoken. Obviously you don't follow AoC Development besides seeing that reel of 30s to get info you instantly rage and downvote.
If we are just gonna spam that BDO only took 4-5 years to release, then lets compare it to BDO at launch which was a dumpster fire of buggy unfleshed out systems, and complete lack of content compared to today. BDO basically released as a beta and has been fixed over time. Also weird to harp on Ashes Alpha price when playing BDO where you know many many players have forked over way more than that. Cringe tailored comparisons just meant to rage bait. You do great with informational/critique videos, but stuff like this just seems like you want to split your community or turn into a clickbait youtuber.
People deciding to spend in a game they're already playing and using 200$ to play alpha isn't the same thing. Above everything, if the combat isn't going to get better, the game will be bad
@@johnny9633 I'll give you the first point even though they have actively told people each month not to buy into alpha unless you actually want to test/critique development. As far as combat, this is where I see a huge disconnect between the BDO community and most other MMO communities. Most of the negative reviews about the combat that I personally (I know, small sample size) have seen have been on BDO videos/discords/ect... People coming from most other MMOs that aren't looking for combat akin to a fighting game have actually been overall well receptive of it. In fact most of the feedback I have seen has pushed them towards the slightly hybrid style combat of GW2 or ESO, which seems to be exactly what they have done. As those games "seemingly" (another opinion) do better at larger scale and/or team based (trinity) combat while straying ever so slightly away from pure tab target. BDO combat is fun, exciting, and overall a massive success at what it aims to be. But how it handles group play and largescale combat (which is one of the largest selling points for AoC) is definitely one of its weaknesses. I know a lot of avid BDO fans will disagree, they have fun node wars and such, and im not saying that is bad. I'm just saying having 1 support that basically puts on a couple buffs before the 2 teams go splat against each other and the fight is over in 5 seconds, is not what I believe most people would consider ideal. tl;dr For the type of content AoC is aiming for, its style of combat is mostly accepted to be the goal, as opposed to pure action BDO combat.
Blue really makes and effort hard talking but he is not hard listening. He is basing his oppinions on the clips that are shown without questioning himself if those are recent. He is assuming people pay each time they want to test, yet he has not even looked on internet that the alpha keys were (they are not sold anymore apparently because they reached the amount of testers they need which shows they are not that interested in simply taking money) one time buy-ins which include access to alphas, betas and launch time, payed only by people who is interested in helping develop the game. He is assuming that Intrepid is pulling Alphas and Betas out of nowhere while in reality, they are sticking to a roadmap that they had before 2019 (Alpha 1-2 and Beta 1-2 even detaling the objective of each phase back then). He is assuming Betas are planned to last as long as Alpha 2 while it has been shared several times that those are intended to last a short time because the features are supposed to be completed with only some balancing or minor bug correction. He is assuming Intrepid started with the same amount of employees they have right now as there were an already established company. In conclusion, AoC might have multiple issues related with intrinsec features, outdated graphics or risky gameplay loops, yet Blue is only assuming and assuming, showing that he often lacks information to form relevant opinions but most importantly, lacking the critical thinking to ask himself if there is something wrong with his assumptions and if he should research more before hard talking.
There's no shot this guy tried to justify the AoC development time with "tHeY GoTtA pAy TaXeS aNd pAy WaGeS/b0nUSeS t0 w0RkErS" Bruh every proper studio pays their employees, why was that even a talking point as if it was a fucking breakthrough!? The fact that there are people like him and the ones who support this type of process, paying insane amounts of money to play an alpha of an alpha, is why studios do this type of shit to begin with. This has almost the level of cope as what I've seen from the community of the Earth 2 project
People comparing Star Citizen to Ashes of Creation need to go look at SC again. SC- $45 instant access(starter pack with a ship and game access forever), playable now, tons of content, great visuals, ground breaking tech, massive strides in development. You can play all kinds of stuff in SC and you can buy 95% of the ships In-Game via grinding in game currency doing missions, It makes Ashes look like a joke if you really compare what each game is doing and trying to do with the scope of the game.
And my little pony online took a week to develop and release. Does that mean bdo is bad because it took 5 years? Complaining about how long a game takes is unhinged. I know bdo players love to eat shit but a massive, intricate, game taking time to release properly isn't a good reason to shit on it. Unhinged impatient players need to calm down. Ya it could release half done and end up adding shit over the next 5 years to be in a half way decent spot, kind of like bdo did. Or they can ignore the impatient people and just develop the game. It is what it is. But ya the alpha prices are out of touch and gross, we can agree there.
You also sound unhinged calling this a scheme. As I said the price for alpha/beta is ridiculous, but they aren't charging for every testing phase like you say. The people that bought testing for alpha 1 don't have to buy testing for beta 1. Like it's disingenuous to say they're selling testing every phase. And they also pulled all the testing packs off their store like 6 months ago. For now. At least be honest when you criticize something
Cope harder. 8 years is not being impatient for game you can't play and release cosmetics packs several times a year. It's called accountability, but at least you don't pay to eat shit, you pay to dream about it.

I wonder tho, when it was released, was the graphics at that time groundbreaking? The initial graphics was at normal settings obviously, so even with that, it was groundbreaking back then? I just remember in 1 old trailer people praised on the game for their details
@@Soledmaria bdo graphic in that day still way better than every mmorpg release in those year, there is no comparison to bdo the rest of mmorpg in terms of realistic graphics in those early years when beta testing is out
wow, and it's still one of the best graphics in the genre (well if you exlcuded the popping issue that is)
as a database and systems analyst, this person really needs to understand how databases work... Of course they have this information...
No one cares what you do.
Baaased, I love how behavioural metrics like its some new thing, Runescape has been doing this for years lol
I'll happily try AoC on release, though from what I last saw of the housing system and the lack of availability, it's sadly already DOA for me.
Lowkey starting to side eye ashes of creation the same way i was side eyeing star citizen…. In 2020….
Blue playing with fire in this one lol. Entertaining video tho keep up the good work
BDO released in 4 years, as a sacrifice servers are down for 4 hours every week to maintain this mess :)
Anybody who played archeage with steven or knew about him knows this game is going to be a piece of shit p2w fiasco
On outfits alone, not including time limited outfits (Fomo sales)
not going into every other item in the game one can purchase (tent, farms, pets, maids, ship and mount gear).
Ships in Star Citizen are a whole lot more then just a outfit for the most part,
crew requirements going from 1- 80 people needed/able to play with the ship in various roles
from small minivan sized shuttles to 500 meter long colossal titans of space
from Combat, Mining, Salvaging, Trading, Repair, Refueling, Racing, Medical, Base/Construction, Exploration, News, Carriers, Frigates and Destroyers
spaceships and ground vehicles (hover crafts, tanks, and rovers) Most of which are already in the game nearly all with high detailed interiors and
quite extensive gameplay loops either ingame already or planned out.
172 ships and 28 ground vehicles
Final Fantasy XIV, World of Warcraft, Elder Scrolls Online, Phantasy Star Online 2, Etc... etc... All of these can be scaled to be comparable if not worse
all these little microtransactions in games addup and if you aren't aware of your money you're blowing through an extensive amount on a recurring basis
then the need to buy expansion packs, maintain a monthly subscription just to maintain access to what you've paid and sunk tens of thousands of hours into
Star Citizen has just bundled everything up and a single price on all these little purchases that people would normally choose to ignore.
(Worse Case 4,000,000 ÷ 200,000 = 20 Hours) to move to the next bracket comparable to Galeass/Caravel in Black Desert from there 500-800k per hour is doable
(Worse Case 65,000,000 ÷ 500,000 = 130 Hours) So comparable to grinding for a Carrack in Black Desert
Honestly at that stage it's purely a grind because one wants to as the ship isn't profitable or powerful, or much else then a luxury super yacht.
Actually gameplay beneficial ships cap around 40 Million presently so even less of a grind. those ships also require several crew to really make decent
use of so that time can be divided between several people akin to a guild galley.
@Kevin-gf4im you think ppl who give money to games that actually exist are the problem? Do you hear yourself?
@@diet-jay2159 Yes. You completely miss the point because your hate for a game in development. You giving p2w monetized games money 100% is worse than giving to a game that is in development and being designed without these systems. Keep showing them p2w is profitable so you keep getting terrible games made out of greed.
@@Kevin-gf4imHow do you know ashes will not have p2w after it releases? Because they said that? 🤣
@@johnny9633 It's the only reason the MMO is even being created. Do you know any history on Steven? Literally p2w archeage is the only reason Ashes started development. If they flipped on that they would lose every supporter they have.
Throne n liberty is coming not sooner than september and thats optimistic at this point, the real date we should be expecting is october/november
and be dead in 3-6 month with crazy p2win elements :D
what's up with zoomers and millennials slobbing on corporate knobs? this guy was literally defending aoc and the money because they pay their people and all the bonuses. what's actually going on here?
As a kickstart backer life time supscribtion to Ashes of Creation i have almost lost faith to ever play the game
1:00:00 , Think he forgets false confidence can be the same.
"Plese gibs mi munny" ashes developers 😂
And rwords still give them 300USD for Alpha 2 :D
Star Citizen is atleast working on groundbreaking tech, and ACTUALLY succeeded and is now working towards a final product, with a side product set to be released next year. Ashes sucks by today's standard.
calling it now, the Riot MMO is going to release before ashes is finished
and they also straight up told us they restarted the project this year. Gonna be a race for the ages that one
Riot MMo has bassically been canceled...and youre still probably right
At this point they have to develop the game or angry gamers will hunt them down for the rest of their lives.
Wonder how many people croaked while waiting for this game to release.
Okay so the data tracking metrics sound like BS because the server impact would be horrendus.
Something has to process this info
My sons probably cant play this Game because they was releasing his Alpha 7.
P.D I have 25.
Do you know why the game is called 'Ashes of Creation'?
Because everything you did and gave will become 'Ashes' in the end. 😅
starfield pulled the same shit
if you never realise the game ppl will stil be hungry for it and throw in money. but if it do realise it might fail and all that money is gonne and there jobs.
They're just taking your money by no longer offering anything for sale - baldman logic
why are people so hyped for this game, it doesn't look that impresive
This guy doesn't know the most basic things about what the video he reacts to talks about.
1) doesn't understand the class system
2) keeps claiming people would need to pay *again* for the betas and "alpha 7", when there's literally a fixed amounts of phases (A1,A2,B1,B2).
3) claims A2 will be 2 years, and Beta 1 again 2 years, when in fact A2 will be running until the launch of the game and the betas will be short, additional tests (load tests etc.)
4) "release it with 3 biomes then do the other ones in expansions". Shows again he doesn't have a clue about the node system, otherwise he'd know that this does not work.
... I'd be interested in his opinion, but instead I'm just hearing objectively wrong statements.
If you talk so much about a game, at least invest 15 minutes to know what you're talking about.
Preach!
Even star citizen will release before ashes. Lol 😅
Ashes will eventually end up like Escape from Tarkov and Star Citizen, forever Early Access
1st: They have all the data and just dont care or
2nd: They dont have the data and therefore have to wait what we say.
I'm just here to say, "Let them cook". If is shit, its shit. If its truly "THE MMO" then it was worth.
5? I mean if they are lucky maybe.
I get that your schtick is "angry, loud MMO guy" but why not do some research on what youre pretending to be so mad about? Your overall take is fine but the amount of misinformation youre spewing really detracts from your point. I guess your echo chamber isnt gonna care tho.
Seems you’re a bit lost blue, alpha 2 is supposed to run till open beta and the betas are not gonna be as long al alpha 2. as soon as beta are done game release is gonna be few month after
Diablo 3 took 2 decades to release, well its blizzard's way
This dude is actually a clown, not blue. but the guy.
* BDO armor/outfits / mounts is dismal in comparison to Ashes number of armor already + mount skins (which takes time to develop each piece)f
* BDO has no where near in depth system as Ashes system.
I think Alpha 2 will be between 18 months to 2 years max)
Alpha 2 will run through and parallel with the Betas, once the game launches, A2 servers turn into PTR's
One word.
Nope.
nice thank
Maybe they are working at home, that's why the development is very slow.
2% work done
98% other tasks
😅😅
If this releases and it will be supbar🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I will spend 250% on bdo😁
Scam Citizen vs Ashes of Scam which one will be released first xd
this game will never come
every gacha game has data for all the playerbase for the past ten years this data talk is nonsense.
Nice
Are gamers really this desperate? I would never invest in this scam lol
blue talk shit about AoC because he knew AoC will kill BDO .
AoC is a masterpiece.
I'm just saying having 1 support that basically puts on a couple buffs before the 2 teams go splat against each other and the fight is over in 5 seconds, is not what I believe most people would consider ideal.
tl;dr
For the type of content AoC is aiming for, its style of combat is mostly accepted to be the goal, as opposed to pure action BDO combat.

There's no shot this guy tried to justify the AoC development time with "tHeY GoTtA pAy TaXeS aNd pAy WaGeS/b0nUSeS t0 w0RkErS"
Bruh every proper studio pays their employees, why was that even a talking point as if it was a fucking breakthrough!?
Star citizen is the most boring game ever made
And my little pony online took a week to develop and release.
@@nicolaspeigne1429 i mean i dont pay for anything. Ive been aware of aoc from the time it hit kickstarter and never paid a cent. Ill play it when it comes out and otherwise i dont rly care. But to say they are charging people for every testing phase is just a lie.
You go ahead keep complaining though, im sure it will help. the reason game devs dont do this super open development type shit is because of impatient unhinged people. Its just a meme at this point.
And the funniest part is, its not even the people super hyped for aoc, its the people who want it to fail. this dude will just complain about the game, compare it to bdo, and then complain that its not coming fast enough lmao its too funny.
But anyway, keep eating shit on bdo. You know you love it.
fact is, the game is coming out within next 4 years or it will be thrown away.
