Obiwan followed the Jedi order to a tee and did everything Yoda asked of him, yet he didnt get to become a Padawan because Quigon thought he wasnt fit to be a knight. Obiwan risked everything and went against a order of the Jedi to stowaway with Quigon. After saving Quigon from a space pirate attack, he still has the gall to say that Kenobi wasnt fit to be his Padawan or a Knight and that he made a rash decision. Quigon was a powerful Jedi and one of kind but look at his apprentices, one goes dark and he does nothing to right this wrong and Obiwan became so codependent that he does things that Quigon wanted to do instead of his own choices. Plo Koon and Mace could have been good choices for Anakin.
If Qui-Gon was alive during prequels, Anakin wouldn't fall to the dark side, Sidious would find another apprentice or Dooku would live. If Dooku lived, he may kill Sidious and take his place. Or Order 66 would be executed but Anakin would be full power, Mace Windu would still be alive. With the absence of the power house Darth Vader, Rmpire would have a much harder time establishing order and the remaining Jedi would probably have enough strength to take down the newly formed empire with only Sidious being stronger than Anakin (maybe). Sidious would most likely be killed along with his apprentice or maybe the apprentice would live and become the new sith lord but a much weaker one compared to Sidious. Jedi and hence the light side of the force would be once again overwhelmingly strong without any balance in the force, failing the destiny of the chosen one.
Qui gon would have been a better teacher yeah. But we wouldnt get vader if qui gon stayed alive. Qui qon was just the first loss anakin had to deal thru.

I was under the impression that Palpatine's whole purpose for Maul was separating Qui-Gon and Anakin, because Qui-Gon was the only one that could mold him true
I think Qui Gon could’ve prevented Anakin from falling to the dark side since a lot of the reason of him falling to the dark side was his frustration with the council and how the Jedi order got in the way of his personal life and relationship with Padme. I feel Qui Gon would be more accepting of Anakin’s wants and needs over the strict teachings of the force unlike Obi wan
It's actually more ironic than that. Obi-wan was being a bad jedi during the fight against Maul, which made him pace about instead of meditate and focus like he should have, while forced to wait. If he did, he could have saved Qui-Gon. He failed. And I always saw his subsequent attachment to following the jedi way almost to the letter to be in large part caused as a form of self-chastizing for that one mistake that cost his Master's life. And then that overcorrection ironically cost him his student falling to the dark side.
I think Qui-Gon would have prevented Anakin's downfall to the dark side, because he would have trained Anakin by the cosmic living force, instead of Obi Wan's way of being mindful of the future. Anakin would have done the thing that Qui Gon did against Darth Maul, and meditated to ask the will of the force for guidance, and Anakin would have understood to stay away from Mace Windu's way of confronting Palpatine with his Jedi Masters. Mace Windu would have killed Palpatine, and that's the end of Darth Vader. Qui Gon would have make made a deal to the Jedi Order to train Luke and Leia as younglings by Anakin, the first Jedi Master to having two padawans, so to keep them in the light and not turn them sith if left unsupervised. Qui Gon would have encouraged the love of Padme and Anakin, and Anakin would have never keep secret the marriage to Qui Gon, because he understood it was the will of the force to have the twins get born.
I’ve ALWAYS said that Qui-Gon Jinn was the Father Figure Anakin never had, and so desperately needed. Obi-Wan was a failure to Anakin, because even when he was Qui-Gon’s Padawan, he always went back and forth with Qui-Gon about “the rules” of the Jedi Order. Qui-Gon should have left the Jedi Order and trained Anakin after Mace Windu said no. Obi-Wan, as great of a Jedi as he was, was merely a goodie two shoes big brother to Anakin who was thrown into the Clone Wars as a child. He was just barely in his 20’s when he trained Anakin.
Well i believe anakin needed a father figure thats why he turned to the palpatine who was a father figure to him. Obi was was more like a brother to him and anakin thought of him as his peer. Thats why he always was jealous of him when he was weaker than him. But anakin also admired obi wan as a jedi because obi wan was a strong and wise jedi in the order and everybody just adored and respected him. And that was anakins dream. To be loved and respected.
Qui gon had to die to show the others the way out after death. If the master didn't die, not even yoda would have been given the teachings of life after death.
Kenobi finds Qui Gon's force ghost and he tells him that even he couldnt have handled Anakin and feels like he made a mistake putting that on to Kenobi. QGJ may have been a strong father figure but I dont think that he could take on grown Anakin anymore that OWK could have. Anakin was destined to turn to bring balace.
I’ll answer your pinned question here by saying it is pure speculation and a hypothetical to suggest that under Qui Gon he would have turned out fine or at least not turn to the Dark Side. Independent thinking isn’t always the good thing. It may have just made his turn more certain. Remember that Count Dooku, Qui Gon’s master, was also an “independent thinker” and look where that got him. So maybe Obi Wan wasn’t who he wanted but it’s who he needed. A Jedi Master shouldn’t just bend to their padawan’s desires.
I have a question with a theory. I’m assuming that Obi-Wan was bound by the rules because he was with the order since he was a year old. Was Qui-Gon a late addition?
We know for a fact that Anakin would've never gone to the dark side of the force if Qui Gon had of trained him. Which is why the Force willed Qui Gon to die.
I believe Anakin would have still become Vader but after order 66 he would realize what he had done and try to repent for what he did to Jin and the rest of the Jedi Order
I think if Qui didn't die I think both him and Anakin would have left the jedi order. Anakin needed father figure and Qui was the closest thing to it and could have matured him more and teach him to think in other ways than just the jedi ways
Do you think Qui-Gon could have prevented Anakin's fall to the dark side?

Qui Gon would have encouraged the love of Padme and Anakin, and Anakin would have never keep secret the marriage to Qui Gon, because he understood it was the will of the force to have the twins get born.
Damage control needs to be just Asuka, Iyo, and Kairi. Turn Bailey and Dakota face already. Lita and Trish for tag champs already.
Obi wan:🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😢😢😢😢
If Qui Gon lived the empire never happens not only that i believe he would have eventually unmasked Sideous
Anakin would prob find Qui Gon teaching more frustrating
Qui hon would not approve of Anakin bad mouthing his master.
In an offscreen moment? Is that a deleted scene or were they chating outside the porta-poty between takes?😂
Duel of the Fates….
Idc what anyone says. Obi Won is the greatest Jedi to ever live.
Even i wished Qui-Gon trained him too and even though im team sith thats how i feel i wont even lie to you i actually got attached to Qui-Gon man
I’ll answer your pinned question here by saying it is pure speculation and a hypothetical to suggest that under Qui Gon he would have turned out fine or at least not turn to the Dark Side.
Qui-Gon would've worked better for Anakin, Obi-Wan was more a brother/partner with Anakin.
I have a question with a theory. I’m assuming that Obi-Wan was bound by the rules because he was with the order since he was a year old. Was Qui-Gon a late addition?
Lita should have won and her and Trish need to win the tag team belts just for old times sake and just cause they are awesome 👍😎❤
We know for a fact that Anakin would've never gone to the dark side of the force if Qui Gon had of trained him. Which is why the Force willed Qui Gon to die.
If Qui Gon had lived Anakin wouldn't have become Vader ....and they both would have teamed up with Dooku
Because qui gon was a very grey jedi
An off screen moment? What does that mean?
If qui gon lived palpitine would have just took luke trained him for years and turned him to the dark side and activated order 66
IT WAS THE WILL OF THE FORCE
I believe Anakin would have still become Vader but after order 66 he would realize what he had done and try to repent for what he did to Jin and the rest of the Jedi Order
Paloma for NXT!!!!!
I think if Qui didn't die I think both him and Anakin would have left the jedi order. Anakin needed father figure and Qui was the closest thing to it and could have matured him more and teach him to think in other ways than just the jedi ways
