Even though it's not one of your favourite Columbia games your excellent video and the quality of components encouraged me to buy this game as an addition to my Crusader Rex game. Really pleased I did. Good work, cheers.
having just played this game, i agree with James review. I haven't played any other columbia block war games as yet. It is a good game but... A combination of : stronger York units and defence bonuses means lancaster must defend or pick of isolated Yorkists. Playing as lancaster reminded me of Ghost stories with its constant fire fight. highlight for me was Warwick turning nearly save me the game. Rules like the border limits are my main criticism because they are easy to forget
Wow I just discovered your channel but I'm surprised you have so few subscribers or views That's an excellent and well produced review - well done, that Sir! Subscribed
@YoksterMan: It is, I've heard from friends who play the game with folks who are already familiar with the theme, Heraldry and Nobles, that it's all quite intuitive though. Julius Caesar is still my go to game, I played it again yesterday. @Ebbor4: Cheers mate
Hey, I've got a question- For a person who has never played one of these block games before but would like to try one, which would be the best to start with?
Yeah thats right. But i think Henry was ...13. he wouldnt do it himself for sure. But he has to decide. and his men were in the bretagne. Also Richard III killed the two princes after he killed all the other people who have better claims on the english thrown. Idk really who that was. but i read it a few weaks a go in a book.And Hanry wouldnt order to kill the princes, because he knows ho's the next after them. I think he liked the imagination of Richard (at the moment lord protector) who has to "fight" with the parlament for every single law or other decision. England would be weaker without a strong king
@EarlofChutney Glad to hear I'm not alone, thanks for chiming in :)

Great review James, the game looks like a step up in complexity from the other Columbia block games.
Looks interesting.

@GinDragon Julius Caesar is my favorite and I think it's the easiest to introduce people too. It's my most played one too.
@Bliree Cheers.
Richard III. Killed the sons of edward IV.. bastard!
Valmir von Vesver and not Henry Tudor who had a lot of reason to lie about him
