- Who knew there were barracudas in Paris? Oh, oh... barricades... I see. Join Cody as he explores this new area control/resource management game from GMT Games. Will it be a revolutionary experience? Or does it belong on the ash heap of history? Let's watch!

I ordered this right away for solo player after seeing the passion of the designer in his videos and I’m real excited to get this one to the table!
It’s fun.
You made me buy it - thanks. I don't like games with tons of different cards to read and to match for combos. 1754, 1775 are just fine in that regard. Keep up with the nice overview...and the pertinent jokes :).
Danke. Happy to help!
I was in a French hippie commune in Paris and my girlfriend there was a Communist...
...
..
...
it was a major red flag..
Ha!
You already look like a French general fighting the commune!
Ha! That’s what I was going for!
I went with this over Fort Sumter because based on what I’ve seen/heard, this one looks like it has just a little more meat on the bones.
Possibly.
When I saw the thumbnail, I thought that Cody has started to make book reviews also.....
Ha. Check out my other channel, Cody Carlson, PhD.
I can't wait to give it a try. Thanks for the review and making me even want more to play it!
Quick question though: couldn't you have waited to play it with another player before doing the review? No judgement here, just curious about it ^^
Didn’t know when I was going to get a chance.
I think it’s neat that this jokes channel also does game reviews on the side!
Ha! I do what I can.
Does Red Flag Over Paris make your Top Ten Solitaire or honorable mention?
I’d have to play it more to make that determination.
Really want to try this game. It’s always hard getting a two player game to the table
It can be a challenge, but as stated in the review, it also has a solo mode.
I have to opposite problem, can never get enough for four players games lol
@@ripred42 if you’re in nyc area lemme know
The occupation joke makes the rounds these days with a Russian tourist.
If you had to play one, this or Fort Sumter? Have you played Fort Sumter solo? How is that?
Did you watch the review? I address this.
Thanks for showing this one off. Too short for me ... would go for it if I had a gaming SO, but I do not :(
The Communards .... worst band name ever :D
Ha!
Is there no live-stream tonight?
No, I wanted to watch the State of the Union. We'll be back next Tuesday. Sorry.
This system all goes back to 13 Days, doesn't it? That's where Mark H must have gotten his ideas from, because his game is basically a carbon copy of 13 Days, though not as good in my opinion.
Similar certainly.
Kicking myself for not grabbing this. Sure there'll be another P500 soon.
Is it already sold out? You’ll get your chance.
I got a copy on preorder from stone valley games and it’s actually just been shipped so there might be a couple out there
I just got a copy off Amazon, so there’s definitely some still out there in the wild.
cody what's up with the new look.... I almost didn't recognize u. totally different hat. not bad just different
Thanks. Been this way for several vids now.
It suits you, although if you start feeling an urge to tie someone to a railroad track, maybe it’s time for a shave 😜
Too late, my friend. Too late. Look, I recently got my PhD so I grew a beard because it’s the law.
Congratulations Dr Carlson!
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer I just thought the flat cap was part of your brand. I mentally associate the flat cap when I think of the discriminator gamer
