    My new favourite video of yours, guys. Love the hilarious quick captions, loved the editing with the music in sync with the soaring sequence, and loved the great shots of a beautiful and soarable site. 10/10

    "Yeah, but you haven't been flyin'" BIG difference! ;-)
    Looks like one of the best flying days, wind wise, I've seen in your vids for this kind of fun.
    Awesome.

    It's indeed amazing. It's like when you count 1 to 2 minutes after an aircraft/airplane takes off. After that short time it will be flying already high and far. Many great pioneers of flying/aviation "deserved" to see how (nowadays), after all, it is so easy to take off and fly...

    Beautiful area. Is the site near Santa Barbara? I fly Torrey Pines a lot and would love to check out the site when I'm up that way...if that's the area. Love that stuff sack by the way!

      It does look like Cali doesn't it! It's half the world away though, Portugal in Europe. Funnily enough when I show my dad videos of people flying Torrey Pines he thinks it's Portugal :) You're more than welcome to come though :)

    Great video and great flying. Where is this you are flying? What is the harness and wing you are using?

    • @AndreBandarra1
      @AndreBandarra1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gralha beach, Portugal. Gin Yeti. Nova Ion 2. Other than the beach, wouldn't recommend the other two ahah

    When it comes to paragliding I know very little, can you use a wing used for paramotoring? I have a 22m nitro and a 28m core, the core wants to lift me pretty easily in any winds over 10mph... but I've always been afraid of being lifted with the wing without the motor.

    • @AndreBandarra1
      @AndreBandarra1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah should work. If you can find a hill that is not too steep and with a gentle wind (beware of obstructions upwind that might cause turbulence) you should be able to do some gentle runs/glides down. That's how most people learn to free fly. Try it out, it's a blast. As you get more comfortable you can progress to steeper and steeper hills

      Man, I don't sit upright in my harness, I kind of slide down so it seems more like a "fetal" position 😵🤣 any tips?

    • @AndreBandarra1
      @AndreBandarra1  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not sure what you mean Bari, do you have video of it? Don't know if it helps but when I started flying I would regularly hang the harness in my house and just play with it getting in and out up and down and all of that stuff. Might be technique, or strap adjustment or just the harness itself

    • @BariFPV
      @BariFPV 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AndreBandarra1 mhm see, when you did the second launch after 1 second (54 seconds to be precise) how your legs went up but then you settled in an upright seated position. I stay in the same kind of posture. I did post a video last weekend. From the head cam view one can kind of tell 🙄

    • @AndreBandarra1
      @AndreBandarra1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      In terms of seating position this harness I was using is a lot more upright and more "fetal" than my normal flying harness. I think it's because it's just a simple hike and fly harness not meant to be used for long periods of time

    Question
    I enjoy your video but have some questions, I want to learn to do this, I used to fly ultralight quicksilver till they turned it to sports pilot. Any way what harness do you use and I will be a beginner and I am 180 lbs what is a good beginner wing. Just looking for a good sport to have fun
    Thank you

    • @AndreBandarra1
      @AndreBandarra1  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Cheers James, good to know the video inspires people! I would say the best way to go is to find a school in your area and take lessons and they will also be able to help you in choosing your first glider as everyone is different and they learn at different rates. Have fun! :D
