Okay I didn't take this seriously until I took my door panel off and there actually is a button 😮😅. Next it took me 5 tries before I got it right ! 😅 and now! My window is working perfectly fine! So I wanted to drop a comment and say THANK YOU ✌️👌👍🙏😎
I know it’s been a few years but I have a g35 coupe and it has this problem. ALSO when I shut the cat off and open the door both windows roll down all the way. I have to disconnect the battery while car is in accessory mode to keep them up. Any ideas?
They are out of adjustment, so what's happening is the window motors are pushing the windows up till there is no more track, this will cause it to stress and put the window back down as a safety, sorta like if someone is sticking their head out the window it will sense stress and bring the window back down
Try what's on the video seems like the regulator does not know where the up and down limits are, doing what I am showing tell it where all the way down is and where all the way up is
I put my window down on my g35 and it just didn’t wanna come up at all for some reason , my window and sunroof both operates good tho , you think this could work for me ?
@Josue Lara yea just get one off ebay, my acura tl type S did this to me as well as my civic, they were working fine then one day day just never went up, ended up being the switch not putting power out when I pressed up, however all other windows were working, payed about 25$ on ebay
I have a problem when the you open the door the window goes down, when closing it should go up but doesn’t and I open the door and just keeps going down and down what can I do,
I've had a bad switch go out once as well, it was a few bucks in ebay, also try pressing the button hard on my passenger window I had to press it Harder for some reason

Never seen it happened while locking the door, only when you close it. I would still try the procedure the window might be binding up or even traveling causing pressure, when this happens the window travels down on its own to keep the glass from breaking
Every other car manufacturer- uses the window switch and has the driver roll the windows up and down to learn its limit. Nissan- make ‘em pull the door card every time you pull the negative cable…
Dam, so this must be a hassle on a lot of their other models, then 😮 makes no dam sense yea. Why make us remove the door panel just to reset the windows. That's outrageous 😅

Hahaha yea it's such a stupid process, but yea it sometimes takes a few tries but glad it worked out for you in the end

@SWFLNOLE854 yes you have to reset both of them, each door has its own regulator
That resets button it’s in all the g35?
I'm not sure about sedans but they are on all coupes for sure

In my case yes, the reset button is located behind the door panel and there is no access to it unless you remove the panel

Nope that sounds to me like you have a bad switch, the process I show is for regulation only
So I should get a window switch replacement at this point ? Again Only my window switch doesn’t work for some reason

Mines is only going down after i turn the car off get out shut the door.only a inch or 2 .
This will reset that issue as, mine started to do that at one point everytime I opened the door
