JMAC Customs HRD - Hand Retention Device

- After running the JMAC customs HRD on my BRN180 I knew it was what I wanted on my AR9 setup. Hand rests perfectly against it and allows you to pull it right back into your shoulder. Small with not much to get hung up on things. Also very light weight so aren't adding much to your build. Highly suggest snagging one up for your build from Brownells or JMAC customs directly.

I wish it was just a little larger. I had a couple of them and long range days or a class, it pinched and wasnt comfortabke for me. Could be the hook on the bottom, if the angle was a tad more open or the whole thing a bit larger it would be great IMO
Each hand stop/foregrip definitely fits hands different. Trying another on another build and first impression was they need to angle the side more. The HRD for me fits really well though. Does hit slightly different then my on my BRN180 handguard. So thinking size of handguard changes how hand rests a bit.
@itsmillartime6916 I've tried nearly all.of them through the years, but 100% without a doubt on all my guns, my go to is a name not heard of, vendetta precision hands stop. Perfect size and angle. Not always on stock as they are small and do them in batches. Try one, most guys I let try one of mine, they end up going to them.. Not much different then Jmac, but angle and size are a tad larger and really like it.
